Fox News personality Michelle Malkin recently had a guest -- a porn website operator who is taking pictures of legal aged girls and posting them on the internet. Love or hate Fox News you will get a great chuckle out of this clip. It's fair to suggest she is even more angry then Keith Olbermann is with the Bush Administration.

This isn't the first time they have covered this story. Bill O'Reilly in June talked about this guy and they concluded that he was not breaking the law and that he is just a "skeezy guy", and that mothers should hide their children from him. They covered this story for an excuse to scroll half naked ladies across the FOX NEWS screen for 5 minutes. In my opinion, this is bullsh!%. It's no different then the Lesbian Gang story -- just an excuse to scroll the word "Lesbian" across the screen. What's better then getting people mad and horny at the same time?
Paris Hilton is apparently "Miss America" - um... you have to realize she is popular because of a porn video she made in 2003. Doug says he takes pictures of "young looking woman" because according to statistics younger looking woman sell more porn subscriptions, you see, I think Doug is just running a business. Paris Hilton was pretty young when her first Porn tape made the internet rounds. Sex Sells, the media knows that, Fox News obviously knows that. Human Trafficking stories don't sell, that is why main stream media doesn't bother covering them.
Try it out, think of the global problem with Human Trafficking (yes, it is a type of slavery), type it into Google News and you get 3,000 results, this is happening, all over the world. Now type in "Paris Hilton" and you get 28,000 results, most from North America. So the only story here is sex Sells on the Internet. Fox News will continue to run stories that give them an excuse to show pretty ladies, thus making them more entertaining. Entertainment. Even Michelle Malkin knows that, the video below is her most popular on Google.

2. Actually I have read in depth stories on human trafficing in I believe Time, and I know in National Geographic. Its an ugly scene, and there needs to be MUCH more of a concerted effort to stop it - but don't count on Bush and Cheney: a lot of it happens in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries which are our "allies." I don't know how much coercion is involved, but I imagine some considering female prostitutes are shunned in Arab societies, but Sunni Iraqi refugee women in Damascus have turned to prostitution en masse to avoid starving to death. For men from throughout the Arab world, Damascus has turned into the Bankock of the Arab world.
Internet porn with consenting adult minors is quite another story. Porn and prostitution will be with us forever - that's one reason they call prostitution the world's oldest profession. Personally, I find it boring (there is no substitute for the real thing), but I have had friends who became so addicted to it that it ate up all their free time. But, seriously, nothing will ever make it go away; in today's world who cares as long as minors aren't exposed to it (that's what they have parental controls and all those parent internet spy mechanisms for); and a simple truth of life is that the more you tell an adolescent how "wrong" something is, the more he or she will be attracted to it. In addition to an ultra high sex drive, rebellion is the most common characteristic of adolescence as all adults know. Trying to stop it is ridiculous - it will never work; and if you have kids, its YOUR job to be responsible enough to monitor what they see and don't see on the web. In any event, since I read the average age for kids to have their first sexual experience is 14, regardless of whether the kid has had abstinence only sex education or not. So, many parents might be well advised to consider that little Johnny and little Suzie probably know more about sex than their parents before having that talk about the "birds and the bees."
My final point is that becoming a highly compensated far right pundit HAS to be the easiest high profile profession anyone can get into. All it requires is for the man to look like everyone's Dad, or for the women to be pretty. If you are a person of color your chances of fame skyrocket (ie Dinesh D'Souza, Michele Malkin). The only other requirements seem to be that you are a lying b*stard (Bill O'Reilly) or a total b*tch (Malkin and Coulter).

7. Good blog Jeff. Shoot, Human trafficking has only been in the news for what?...20, 30 maybe 40 years. Oh yeah, I wouldn't limit human trafficking to western countries, China and Russia have a rich history of this and South East Asia is the mother load. Been to Thailand lately bro?

11. I'd have to say, in terms of overcoming one's shame of nakedness, the Girls have it hands down. Fear and shame-of-nakedness were the first two fallen issues Adam and Eve had to deal with, so it seems logical we're going to have to overcome BOTH in order to re-enter the Garden.It also doesn't help that Jesus' remarks about overcoming our shame of nakedness were DELIBERATELY cut from the texts. 15. that news reporter, Michelle Malkin, was totally ridiculous! i agree with the other person who left a comment, it is so sad that she really has nothing to do but trash these people. she honestly had no base for an interview other than yelling at the guy and model who make legal porn and forcing HER OPINION on them, when they obviously were not going to agree with her opinion.
i find it so ironic that this interview really has no news value, yet Malkin says, "here is your fifteen minutes of fame, tell us why you make pornography," basically insighting his whole interview and stating that SHE will be the vehicle for this guys continued success in the internet porn biz and then yelling at her guests. It is sooo ridiculous that THIS is what they call news!!!
