I thought a few things said here told the story on who is right and wrong and who is "Fudging Facts" First as Mike said several times in the interview you can go to his website for an analysis of the Gupta report and its many mistakes. I did and Mike does a great job of point by point rebuttal there with references proving his points. Where is CNN's or Guptas? Second Moore pointed out all of the mistakes to CNN BEFORE they ran the piece. He also gave them the evidence proving they were wrong. They've run the piece now several times without correcting their obvious mistakes. And Third and for me the biggest reason never to trust CNN and their bullshit reporting is Mike pointed out they used a partisan Republican bitterly opposed to National Health Care and a representative of a Big Pharm think tank as though he were an unbiased expert giving an unbiased opinion. They did not tell their viewers the man had an agenda. When Michael Moore called him on this Gupta defended the devious misleading tactic. They can't beat Fox so they decided to join them?? Michael Moore won this debate. He seems to have calmed down a bit but if I were him I would not get angry or calm down. I would get a lawyer and sue for libel. Somebody needs to hold these jackasses accountable for things they report as fact. Michael has a movie out Gupta said he lied in that movie. Since the movie is a documentary it would obviously hurt it if he did. That is libel. There are damages. Financial damages. Don't get mad get a lawyer.. Teach CNN a lesson... Sue them until they bleed.. As Michael pointed out in his Blitzer rant CNN did the exact same thing to him on Fahrenheit 9-11 and Moores been proven right and CNN proven to be wrong. Proven a War Propaganda tool on Iraq rather than a free thinking truth reporting NEWS agency.. They do owe America and Michael Moore an apology.

32. NEVER trust the media talking heads. How interesting to read the far right defending a 'pretty boy' establishment lacky. Surly according to them, he is just one more in the 'liberal' media.
One important point, NEVER TRUST YOUR DOCTOR> You need to know the questions to ask, get more than one opinion and check as much information as possible prior to accepting their advice. By the way, NEVER let them start you on medication, especially those advertised on TV. Ask what the alternatives are. If you have a pill pusher you probably need to switch doctors. Medication does not cure, it simply makes you permanently dependable.And for gosh sake, fight for your treatment with your insurer.
Insurance companies have non-practicing doctors on their payroll as reviewers,they never know your case and will deny payment for everything they can. That is what they are PAID to do, keep pay out as low as possible.
Highly amusing to see Gupta throw in a jab on the political side just at the end of this dialogue, does his ambition know no bounds?

33. If you have been to Cuba you would know it is the last place you would want to be. Nothing has changed since the capitalist left. I mean that literally. They are still living in the same homes built in the 1950's, without repairs, still driving the same car they stole from the capitalist in the 1950's. Unemployment is disguised by so called government job in which people do nothing. .In a socialist society people are not equal. If you work for the party than you live in better housing, get to eat every day and get higher quality health care. If you are not in the party you starve, live in a shack and see a so called nurse who has no medication at a clinic. Food is rationed by the use of a coupon book. 39. Two words to decribe CUBA - ABJECT POVERTY.

I would suggest that before people complain about the state of our health care system, they should travel to CUBA or the United Kingdom for that matter and see just how "bad" we've got it here.

Sure the insurance companies and HMO's aren't perfect, but adding ANOTHER level of governmental control and bureaucracy surely isn’t going to improve the matter.

Moores documentaries are simply a political means to promote his socialist views and agenda, take them at face value.

Our choices are.... to take our health care money and give it to a salesperson who gets a commission and passes the remaining money to people who are paid salaries and bonuses (from our remaining money!)to deny or restrict the procedures and medicines the Doctors they allow us to see.. conclude we need. These unethical* people are supervised by executives that also get salaries and bonuses for insisting that our prescribed health care is rationed or denyed.

Exactly who is looking out for you?

All of these costs do not provide as much as a bandaid. They are simply the bearers of bad news ... care denyed or rationed or delayed in hopes that you perish and don't cost them anything..

Sorry folks ... without the sugar coated lies of advertising, this is exactly how medical insurance works. They make money by restricting care; by not spending YOUR money.

What is left over... less than 70 cents of each of your dollars... actually goes to your healthcare!

Our choice: switch to another company with the same dollar saving care restricting incentives in place as procedures.

* Yes, real Doctors who did this shameful job have testified to exactly this restrict for a bonus system under oath in front of congress.

And exactly what control do we or our elected represenatives have over the people who deny me or you or your children care?

NONE, they don't work for us... they work for the people who get bonus payments to restrict our care.. NO CONTROL and NO RECOURSE!


Or.... We could provide our health care dollars (we always pay one way or another...nothing is free) to people who work for people who work for (eventually)our elected represenatives. None of these people get a bonus for restricting or denying us care.

Yes, such systems already work in America. Medicare for older folks, Military medicine for active service members and Veterans Administration medicine for vets.

I for one, woulf rather trust my care to someone who was NOT getting paid to deny it...or restrict it.. WOuldn't you ... really?

And please ignore the pin heads who want to call these systems bad names instead of dealing with the reality.

(In fact, they don't even understand the word socalized... by any reasonable definition, paying money to a collective pool (the insurance company) IS socalizing ... spreading the risk .. of medical costs.. Doint it through our elected represenatives is simply less expensive and without incentives to not provide care.

When they shout about delays elsewhere, smile and ask ... show me your facts... numbers with detailed sources. These are mostly blowhards... big mouths with little attachment to brains)

Finally, consider asking your congress people next election cycle... will you promise to provide us taxpayers ... those whose taxes pay your salary and expenses ... exactly the same health care you provide (with our money) for yourselves and your families?)

Think about it... then go for the Doctor or system that doesn't get a bonus to deny your care..

45. Pretty funny that Michael Moore wants the government he hates to pay for everyone to have health care. Gupta won the debate and knows so much more about the medical field than Michael Moore. Look at Moore, he is obese and clearly unhealthy. My husband had chest pain (California) and within an hour was in cath lab and fixed. This would have never happened in any other country. We pay for our own insurance, Blue Shield, and it is expensive but has served us well. Where I live, anyone can walk into Hoag Hospital (Newport Beach, CA) and be seen in the ER with or without insurance. Most of the time it is filled up with illegal mexicans getting free health care. We pretty much give the illegals free health care as it is. It's a proven fact that if the government paid for everyone to have free health care that those of us who work hard to pay for our insurance will no longer get the care we need. Our taxes will go sky high (up to 75%). Our medical system needs some fixing but not the way Moore wants. Who is going to listen to a 500 lb. sicko about health care anyway? This man is a true sicko and rants and raves about his way and only his way. I can't stand looking at him. He is a liar and uses bogus numbers to convince the lower classes that he is the medical GOD and well, all you liberals, you're already so brainwashed that there's little hope for you anyway.
