This inspired a blog post by Michael Moore titled: CNN vs The Facts. (Here's an additional article from CNN.)
Below is Moore pumping his fist at main stream media.
Minor Hat tip to Blitzer... for letting Moore rant. Vote up this clip if you enjoyed it.
Possibly the best plea to the Main Stream Media since Jon Stewart went on Crossfire.
*Update: Micheal Moore Debates Sanjay Gupta on Larry King - July 10th. Watch it here.

1. Isn't convienant how Michael Moore dodges direct questions? I belive Dr. Gupta being a famous neurosurgen knows just a tad bit more, to say the least, than this rambling fool. If Moore could back up his so called documentaries with actual facts then maybe he would come across as more than a idiotic clown with just real strong opinions. The scary thing is that some people take his propaganda as fact and its those UNEDUCATED ones that fuel this morons fire. Surprise surprise the truth came out that "padded the facts" translation LIED to the American public the very thing this paranoid creep accuses everyone else of. The damn communist should leave our country since he always so unhappy with it.

2. Go Michael!! He sounds upset enough to make a movie about how the media has become corporate whores and has long ago abandoned objective journalism or critical thought. About how News has become what their corporate masters want it to be. Michael is right on the money about Fahrenheit 9-11 too and CNN does owe America an apology for not doing its job and instead helping Bush get us into this mess. So do a lot of other media/propaganda outlets. Thus far the only one I've heard apologize for being an instrument of propaganda on Iraq is The New York Times. CNN lost all credibility and they have been sinking ever since they helped get us into Iraq. Fox News has more credibility than CNN at least Fox is more honest about being whores and who they're whoring for. They make it no great secret like CNN does. They are all responsible for the rise of blogs. America is firing them and they have not figured it out yet.

3. His problem is no matter what the questions are, he always goes back to the Iraq war. He is paranoid and just spurts things out without facts. I think he is crazy....talk about sound bites, his documentaries are loaded with them. I feel sorry for the whackos that believe him!

4. Thank God we have people like Michael Moore, willing to expose some of the corruption in our system. As a healthcare worker, I can tell you, you'd better hope you or no one in your family gets sick - especially if you have no or inadequate insurance. The hospitals will take everything you own - and George W. Bush has ensured that you can't declare bankruptcy for medical bills so they will follow you until you die. What a disgrace for what is supposed to be the most prosperous nation on earth.

5. In response to Dumbass (1) and Dee (2):
If you saw MM's Fahrenheit 9/11 you would have seen the horrific lack of medical treatment our military receive at Walter Reed once they return from battle in Iraq.
It is a national shame that MM brought to our attention THREE years ago. Only now is Copngress investigating it. Where were the Republicans in Congress on this between then and now?
And Bush, The Decider, did he decide to undertake a war without preparing for the treatment of our wounded American soldiers?
Do either one of you have a problem with this inconvenient truth?

6. hey "michael moore is a bumbass" have you ever tried to get medical insurance? well it ain't easy so if he is gonna do it let him there is to many people dying out there.

7. Way to go Michael! It's about time someone asked the news media to be accountable for their passive participation in the skewering of the American people.

8. I think Michael is awesome. He's fighting for what he believes in. He's got the courage to take on the media, which basically is all lies anyway. Even if you dont agree with what he believes, I think it is important to realize he is also fighting for freedom of speech, which is what america is about.

9. You people are cracking me up. You must be the ones who watch Fox News and believe that as fact. That's why you are cutting down Michael Moore so bad. You are so brainwashed by Fox that you can't see that Bush & Cheney are running the worst administration in the history of our country. While you guys are defending these idiots the rest of the world thinks we are a joke. If you guys ever watched Michael Moore's films or looked up the facts you would see that he is telling the truth. I can tell you haven't seen his films by the comments you are making. Your comments are straight from Fox News or Bill O'Reilly. When are you people gonna wake up and do your own homework and stop listening to the propaganda on Fox News. It's people like you that are the reason that Bush is President and 3500 innocent kids are dead and thousands more seriously injured from the war in Iraq. Quit being so lazy and get off your couch and read something and find out what the facts are. Then you can talk to someone about what are what aren't the facts.

10. if moore realy wanted to bring attention to health care and the war he shuldnt have acted like a freaking 2 year old on cnn, already i had a lack or respect for the man then he goes off on this rant reminisent to my 2 year old cousin when she ges upset avoiding what shes asked and just buitching and bitching, hes a grown man GET OVER IT!!!
freakiinawesome at 12:59PM on Jul 10th 2007
11. Moore's point is that the media is dropping the ball on important issues here in the US. Whether or not you agree with the war or are happy with the state of the health care industry, the point is that he is the only one bringing these topics to light. There are a lot of comments about Moore spinning the facts to support his view, but even if he is, he's raising massively important issues of the American people, regardless of political affiliations. Besides, you can't deny the fact that cannot be spun either way; there are countries out there that have universal health care that works, and the US doesn't.
Maybe more Americans could make objective decisions if the news/media outlets covered stories that actually matter. Instead we're left with coverage of Anna Nicole's baby and Paris Hilton in jail.

12. I do not believe he is ranting, I think he is as upset as we all should be. I think even using the word "rant" as a description proves the point Michael Moore makes. Shame on our media for not being objective and always catering to some political party and to advertisers. Shame on us for not spending out hard earned money somewhere else. Maybe is we never bought a newspaper, maybe some company, driven by profit, would actually finally do the right thing! Michael Moore has my total support!

13. MM is a big fat loser!!!
MIchael at 10:13AM on Jul 10th 2007
14. Love him or hate him, he is bringing light to some very important issues that we as Americans fail to react to. We put these idiots in charge, and we are the only one's who can get them out of office. We allow our public servants to dictate to us what we are going to do? While pharmaceutical companies , doctors, and Insurance companies are making record profits, we lose more and more everyday. When a senior citizen has to decide between eating or paying for their medicine. Universal healthcare works everywhere but here, why? Are we not the most advanced nation in the world? Sickens you , doesn't it?

15. Bravo Michael !!
Shame on the news sluts who pretend to be for the people as they exit their chauferred limo in $3,000 outfit after leaving a comfy million dollar abode.
