with her friends. (Watch the whole Today Show disclosure here.)The most striking trend among the photos: Amy's fixation with her own breasts. In one photo, her boyfriend is biting her left breast. ("He's being silly and immature but he's also very intelligent," she says.) In another photo her best friend from drama club grabs her breast (same breast). In the last of the Tata Triptych, she holds two tiny pumpkins up against her breasts. This one is actually kind of arty. The colors are gorgeous and the composition is quite nice. While Amy's not exactly busting out (the point of the photo), the actual picture is. It really jumps out at you.
The mammary motif is interrupted by a startling photo of Amy in a limo, her legs spread, pointing her butthole right at camera. Of course she's wearing jeans so it's not a big deal. This could be paired with the photo of her smacking her friend's ass with what looks like a cutting board. (Remind me not to accept chopped vegetables from Miss New Jersey!)
The most incriminating, though, is the photo of her boyfriend in black spandex with a green stripe across his torso. He's shockingly bloated, a long way from the stud who bit his girlfriend's boob in the earlier photo. (Amy, be warned: the man we see here would not stop short of eating both your breasts if given the chance.) This photo serves as a wake-up call to friends and family who need to ask why his weight is fluctuating so dangerously. Is it the pressure of dating a pageant girl? Is it the New Jersey diet? Or does spandex make you look chunky? This is the real scandal here.
There was some poignancy to Miss New Jersey's appearance. In the interview's most moving moment, Amy pleaded with Matt Lauer and, by extension, New Jersey pageant officials: "I am not a robot. I am a human being," she said, invoking the unforgettable cry of the deformed John Merrick in David Lynch's Elephant Man. "I'm also a theater major," she added, for good measure.

16. If these photos are incriminating, then 85% of the women would have to drop out of the competition. In actuality, the person that submitted the photos only gave Ms. New Jersey more popularity because all the focus is on her now. May that was the motivation of sending in the photos in the first place-a type of reverse inuendo. hmmm. The pictures are not even bad. That is an illustration of 95% of college life in the 21st Century. We have to rationalize and live with it because it isn't going to change soon.

18. I'm just waiting for a "Girls Gone Wild"-type scandal to surface. You know there HAS to be a Miss America contender that has made an appearance on that tasteful video series. Not that she would remember... blackouts suck!

20. Was she at least lighting a fart in that one photo? Because then we'd be learning a little science while she bores the hell out of us.

21. Yeah, the photo's weren't so great. Although, I do have to admit the limo leg spread was pretty good. Sort of reminded me of a Britney Spears pose, except with cloths on.
I live in NJ, and I have no beef with Amy Polumbo. She pushed back, and that was the right thing to do.

23. Oh Mo.... Wikipedia?
Seriously?
How could you? You might as well have used Wikiality...
I thought you were better than that...
Perhaps I should edit your page... "Is fond of too small leather pants" sounds like a good addition...

24. I agree that the "news" of Ms. New Jersey's exploits is pretty lame, but we must keep the American public entertained! Tabloids aren't enough! Besides, didn't she win her title with her amazing talent for playing the zither? Just for that she'll be famous for the rest of her life or another 10 minutes whichever comes first.
America - gotta love the only place in the world where you can be famous for...ah...being famous! I think the only person to be famous for being famous with class was Zsa Zsa Gabor - married a ziollion times for money and always admitted it. That's class.

26. Wouldn't it stink if we were to believe that she was not sexually active? The whole point of her career choice is temptation. This is not capable without hope. I say, cut loose while you are young, if the watchful eye of hypocracy is bearable.

27. Oh please, those pictures were just bland. As some would say, very vanilla. There was nothing outragous about them. No drugs, violence (A pretend rump smack is not violence if pretend did it in college myself with friends.), no sex, no cruelty, no animals involved. Very Bland. CAN WE SAY......
its all for the news coverage, they could not be found outrageous or she would be asked to hand in her crown.

28. We covered the larger issue of "digital dirt" on Fox News Channel this week. Amy, give me a call after you catch your breath. Eager to help you in your mission of making sure people realize it can be a humbling medium & you've got to be smart about managing Managing Your Online Rep. You've learned the hard way & we've all learned with & from you. Matt said it best, "Thank Goodness they didn't have Facebook when I was in college."

29. The media talks about this and Paris Hilton and all the celebrities. But does anyone really care about real news anymore? Perhaps if W. would allow the caskets of dead American soldiers arriving at Dover Air Force Base it would wake us up to what's really important.
