Conspiracy of the Day: The Whitehouse Coup of 1933

I call it a conspiracy because I found it at the top of the popular social news website Reddit.com, linked to the popular conspiracy website PrisonPlanet.com. The conspiracy website is linking to a BBC Radio program titled "Document," which is an "award-winning investigative series." It features a 29 minute long program about a 1933 coup.

The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America, (owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George Bush's Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression.

Mike Thomson investigates why so little is known about this biggest ever peacetime threat to American democracy.
Give it a listen and see what conclusions you draw. I remember reading once that Prescott Bush helped finance the Nazi's. I am very happy he failed at turning American into a fascist land. That would have made WWII a little bit more messy. I could be reading into it too much but it kinda disturbs me that both his son and his grandson have become President... The Netscapers have already weighed in.

I never post without including a video, so just to fuel the conspiracy a bit, itt notes Heinz and Bush's families were both involved in the 1933 Coup? Hmmm...
