As you can tell from the amount of Daily Show clips I post I am quite possibly one of the shows biggest fans. Some visitors to this website might be interested in knowing the our own Mo Rocca was once a Daily Show correspondent (1998-2003.) I was able to hunt down some of Mo's classic clips (including his exclusive interview with George W Bush) on the Internet. I have put them together here for you to watch and enjoy over your weekend.

Mo Rocca appears on a bunch of shows, including CBS News Sunday Morning (with the indescribably wonderful Charles Osgood), The Tonight Show on NBC, and NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! He's a sometime judge on Iron Chef and was featured on Telemundo's Amore Descarado. Last year he starred on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His expose "All the President's Pets" was published by Crown in 2004.

1. As a young teenager, I grew up watching the Daily Show. The trio of Colbert, Carrell, and Rocca will always be the greatest lineup of Daily Show correspondents in my opinion. Rocca of course was my favorite for his generally offbeat and hilarious segments. This past June, I had the honor of being personally insulted by him onstage during the Broadway production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. Plus Bill Clinton was in the audience that night, so I met two celebrities.
I’m now a loyal reader and responder to Mo’s blog entries here on NewsBloggers. His wit and humor has carried over well into blog-form. I hope to one day encounter Mo again, and have him mock me for having “Shaggy”-like hair and accuse me of doing marijuana.
