You don't often see profiles as satisfying as Vanity Fair's portrait of Judith Nathan Giuliani, Rudi Giuliani's third wife and First Lady hopeful: "Giuliani's Princess Bride: Politics and Power." We've always thought she seemed like the ultimate in graspy, greedy, scary stepmothers, and the VF story doesn't exactly refute that. Some snippets:
"There is a reason why she wore that tiara at her wedding: she really does see herself as a princess," says another former Giuliani aide. "Not as a queen. Queen is her goal. Queen is who she wants to be."
Asked if he knew Judith was writing speeches, one former Giuliani aide replied, "Holy cow! God forbid!"
Although she informed WWD, "I have no room for shopping in my life," she buys Dolce & Gabbana.
After her second divorce, she upgraded herself to "Judith" with such vehemence that, one former Giuliani aide confides, "at City Hall we were prohibited from calling her Judi. She would bawl us out if we did."
When he decided to leave Hanover [the mother of his children], in May, he made a public announcement-"Judith Nathan is a very, very fine person" were his words, "and I'm going to need her more now than maybe I did before." That was how his wife of 16 years discovered her marriage was over.
Around the office of Giuliani Partners, it is said, Sunny Mindel, Giuliani's communications director, spoke of the need for providing an entire plane seat for Judith's "Baby Louis"-a reference to her Louis Vuitton handbag, which sits in solitary splendor on her travels.
Bonus points: the company she worked for in the '70s tortured dogs in its sales pitches.
So far, Judi's looking a lot more Lady Macbeth than Martha Washington . . .

1. If I had a nickel for every wedding I've attended where the bride wore a tiara, I could start my own hedge fund.

2. I am a registered Republican and am appalled by the
adultery of the Judi and Rudy. Do you want him as your President. I don't think he thinks clearly and certainly not with his brain. Judi as the First Lady? I don't want children to think Americans overlook adultery. LET'S VOTE AGAINST RUDI WHO LACKS MORALS.

3. Having met her officially, she seems a little aloof but ok. Now Hilary and her temper, thats what scares me..

4. I'm so disgusted that everyone buys into a newcast's 10 minute bytes and a leftist magazine judgemental view.
Fact: Middle age women are jealous that Rudy fell for an age appropriate mate.
Fact: Rudy Loves Her --- who are we to judge.
Fact: Donna was married to Rudy in name only...... She was living in Califorinia; She had changed her name to Donna Hanover; She was very passive aggresive and an absent and unsupportive wife.
The truth is a canidates personal life has nothing to do with his ability to lead a country.
They are happy!!! They have contributed to making the world a better place. Let he who has never sinned cast the 1st stone.
This article is ridiculuos!!!!!!

5. I don't know what's more pathetic - VF or the people who buy it.
I couldn't care less if Judith Nathan wore her wedding cake on her head. And before this "magazine" belittles her for carrying Louie Vuitton and buying Dolce Gabbana I'd like to know if they plan on doing an article on Hillary Clinton?
Mention anything about Hillary's clothing or her bad behavior and its sexist, but its OK to shred Judith Nathan?
Who care if Judith scolds people for calling her Judi? I have a friend who screams at people who call her Rosemary (her real name) because she prefers to be called Rosie.
And as far as marriages and morals go - please lets not go there. The Clinton's marriage is the biggest farse on the planet and Bill's behavior (before, during and after his presidency]is reprehensible, second only to Hillary's.
I'd like to know why VF hasn't done an article on Hillary's "F Bombs" and her abuse of her staff like:
1) she screamed at the pilot of Airforce One to "putting this f...g thing down on the ground - I forgot my sunglasses in the limo. Tip to Hillary - forget the sunglasses and opt for a paper bag.
2) when she was first lady of Arkansas she told her police office escort to "shut the fxxk up - don't you talk to me, it's bad enough I have to see you shit kickers all day long, I sure as hell don't want to talk to you". This tyrade was brought on when the officer said good morning to her.
3) no mention of Hillary's threats to her husband' rape victim or sexual harrassment victims, or his "bimbos". Yeah, great champion of women's rights!
4) no comments about Hillary's abuse of her secret service staff and the agent she told to "carry my fxxxing bags like I told you to if you want to remain on this detail". This tyrade was brought on when the agent said he wanted to keep his hands free in case of an emergency. Yeah, makes you really want to take a bullet for her doesn't it
Judith Nathan is being trashed for working for a company that was involved in animal testing 30 years ago. Hey folks, up until a few years ago even AVON did animal testing.
And if given the choice, I'd prefer to have a first lady that worked in the medical field rather than representing the Black Panthers in the 1970s.
So what if Judith Nathan wants to be Queen.
Hillary Clinton wants to be King.

8. I'm a middle aged women and I could care less what the age of someone's spouse is. Judi Giuliani is still a piece of trash and that has nothing to do with me. My husband is also younger and more handsome than Giuliani, so who that classless butthole marries is no skin off my back, although he did a good job of destroying his family for his own selfish needs. That kind of behavior proves something about a person and it is not the quality of a leader who is going to keep the well being of our population in the forefront. He could have solved his marital problems like a gentleman in private, if he was worth spit.
No doubt your personal life has its share of problems, Barbara. Your tactic in trying to justify it was deceitful and abusive. Get real and get a life.

9. As for the topic at hand, I thought that was an interesting article by Vanity Fair and wearing a crown at her wedding did show some indication of delusional behavior. I was stunned when I saw it, too! It was beyond ridiculous.
So was patting Rudi on the face in a television intervew, after she proclaimed how much she loved his children, while destroying that which was most precious to them... their family. That's her idea of "love?" And Rudi proclaiming his faith while remaining in an adulterous relationship isn't going over so hot, either. LOL You would really have to be hell bent for leather to fall for that.
Okay, back to my own life and the matters at hand... a destroyed housing market, skyrocketing insurance rates, mentally insane people roaming around free in the streets and a political party who is proving to be the biggest hypocrites on the face of the earth, sans Iowans who did a great job this weekend! At least the adulterers came in at the bottom, that'll teach 'em. ;)
And cutting open healthy dogs in surgery for demonstrational purposes to get a commission shows a cruel and cold streak I could not relate to on any level, so don't ask me to explain that.

10. VF has stooped to new lows. We should be asking sho is Judy Bachrach? Mrs. Giuliani appears articulate and classy. Maybe it was fate that they met. Why did Donna not notice? Because she wasn't paying attention to her husband. She was out in California trying to because famous on her husband's name. All Americans would be proud to have someone with such style. Rudy must see something in her and they seem to be very caring and maybe he now has a true and loyal partner. Would you rather have him stay in a terrible marriage and have a phoney front to the public like some people we know? The important thing is that Rudy is the only candidate that makes sense. He is what most Americans are searching for. Enough with the insults to his lovely wife. Shame pn VF!
