...Oh and yes in 2005 Bill O'Reilly DID suggest that terrorists should "Go Ahead" and blow up the Coit Tower in San Francisco. Chris Dodd was incorrect Bill said that on the "Radio Factor" not the "O'Reilly Factor." Does this error make Chris Dodd a propagandist like Bill suggested?

1. Thanks Jeff, I have always liked Chis Dodd. I have heard that if the people that know all of the politicians in Washington were to pick someone for president that Sen. Dodd would win by a landslide. As for O'Reilly, I remember Joe Pine in the fifties. There will always be Bill Os as there will always be live wrestling.

2. Yo Jeff,
Who cares what Chris Dodd says or thinks. He is one of those Democrats caught up in hatred for the Republicans and absolutely anything they stand for.
Jimmy Carter has a better chance of becoming the next Democratic Party nominee for president than Chris Dodd.
And Chris Dodd is a propagandist. He runs around screaming global warming like a trained chimp.
And another thing Jeff, you can put global warming up there with the ice age scare of the 70's, Ozone depletion of the 80's , 90's were good (a Democrat was in office) and now global warming of the 2000's (Republicans back in office).
If Hillary gets the White House in 2008, the Democrat's will "Cindy Sheehan" Chris Dodd and global warming.

3. Chris Dodd is a loon and a propagandist just like you, Hoard. There's a reason why you have a column full of lies and leftist propaganda on AOL while Bill O'Reilly has the highest rated cable news show on the highest rated cable channel. He has credibility, you do not. Also, there's a difference between an off-the-cuff remark made in jest by O'Reilly and the way you and your nutty friends undermine the country and it's soldiers on a daily basis.
San Francisco has become the cesspool of the United States, as left-wing as other parts of CA are the people of SF are simply nuts.

4. Yo Willet
I don't think that Chris Dodd is capable of hating republicans. He is probably like the rest of us in that we are astounded by your lack of intellectual curiosity and sorrowed by your ignorance of the evidence. It is a pity that there is such a gap between those of us who want to know the answers and will strive for liberty and understanding and republicans. I sometimes wonder where a social conscience comes from. Nevertheless, you are a countryman to me and I wish for your success and happiness without rancour or hate.

5. #4 - Steve: Actually you believe Republicans are too ignorant for success. You just said that, right before you wished them success. One could easily say you are ignorant of the evidence against global warming for example, because there is quite a bit. The inability of some people to even understand that people aren't stupid, just because they don't agree with you is what's poisoned politics and Bill O'Reilly.

6. O'REILLY WAS CORRECT. DODD IS JUST ANOTHER SCARED POLITICIAN AFRAID OF A GROUP OF FAR-LEFT BLOGGERS. HE HAS NO BACKBONE OR STOMACH TO STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT OR DECENT. BILL ISN'T ALWAYS CORRECT, BUT HE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD THIS TIME.

7. Mel, thanks for your response. I once heard that the definition of genius is someone who agrees with you. I am sure that republicans are not stupid. I have always had great respect for Goldwater for example. The state of the present republican party is quite different, however. If someone tells me that the million of tons of carbon emissions that we release daily has no effect on our atmosphere then its hard for me to keep that belief. It is simple chemistry. Animals are carbon based. Burning their remains releases the carbon. Carbon atoms are a bonding agent. They will bond with anything that is available which is usually oxygen. Viola, Carbon Dioxide. CO2 will rise, shield and trap ultraviolet radiation. You know the rest.
Now, republican Senators are accusing those of us that took chemistry of touting bad science. They are mounting campaigns financed by oil and coal companies to make us chemistry students look like fools.
When I hear Bill O or Rush spout ridicule at those of us who have taken the time to learn how things work, that start hate campaigns against us, then, I am appalled by the self rightous stupidity of the republicans.
But in the future I will continue to try to believe that republicans are not stupid.

8. Dodd should have never stooped to being on the god-damned "Orally Factor" on Fux Snooze. He legitimized the most obnoxious asshole on TV... Billo.
Billo is a vile falafel sucker.

9. Steve, What a nice response! Still, as you indicated heat releases carbon, so the question has never been if global warming exists, but whether or not global warming is causing higher CO2 or CO2 emmissions is causing global warming. That has always been the argument. This is an argument not agreed upon by scientists (regardless of what politicians say for their own benefit), so I believe that after taking high school chem, I still don't know the answer. I do know that if Leonardo DeCaprio would shut up, it would help.
Thanks

10. Mel I would rather berate Billo and Rush than discuss global warming at length but here is a short synopsis. Thru time there has become a delicate balance between the release of Co2 in our atmosphere and the ability of plant life to absorb it. Radiation usually escapes from our atmosphere keeping this acceptable balance between CO2, oxygen and temperature.
Presently, we face two factors that have upset this balance. The destruction of plant life (think Brazilian rain forests)and the release of more CO2 by chemical reaction(you are right, its burning animal remains). This means more CO2 and the planets less effective ability to absorb the added CO2.
CO2 shields the escape of radiation(sunlight) after it bounces off of the planet. Instead, the radiation is trapped and bounces back and forth between the ground and the atmosphere. This causes heat. We use the same effect for our greenhouses to be able to raise plants in the winter.
Now in spite of what you may have heard and I will put this in cap/. NO RESPECTED SCIENTIST DISAGREES WITH THIS.
The results, cats living with dogs, the Cubs winning the Pennant and the destruction of mankind.
Well maybe not. But the change in temp. will cause famine, rising ocean levels, migration and starvation of millions of people.
Recently, NASA projected the temperature level of my area of the country in 2080. They said that they hoped that the data was flawed but that the summertime temp. computes at 180 degrees for 2080. That means no more of my Grandmothers green beans. They won't grow at that temp. It would probably mean economic disaster for most of us.
Now. We did pretty well with hairspray and ozone. It seems as though the oxone layer is coming back.
Now its probably wise that we look into this global warming problem, don'tchathink. Thanks Steve

11. I understand that you believe it's obvious and would not "respect" a scientist that didn't agree, but there are major experts in the field that disagreed and called their contributions to the UN distorted. There was a long special about it on the BBC (hardly a conservative outlet). As I indicated earlier, I can admit when I don't know something. Republicans are not against the environment (clean water, clean air), in that context many things could be agreed on, instead some choose to use "DISASTER". Disaster that Nasa indicates is happening on Mars as well (if you want to quote Nasa). You may be right about global warming, but you're wrong about the scientists.

12. Fox News is like Signal, the Nazi propoganda magazine the Germans used to distribute in the occupied territories of Europe during World War 2. It glosses over the true facts to "support the troops", praise the ruling party and otherwise lie about everything that doesn't support the administration.

13. OK Mel, This is the last that I will say on the subject. I can remember when scientists touted research that tobacco did not cause cancer. We later found out that their payroll checks came from Raliegh Virginia. Good Night and Good Luck.
Oh, and lets get back to Billo. He can be charming and intelligent. Really, I've seen it. What makes him resort to lies, falsehoods and character assasinations?

14. As Newt Gingrich said back in 1992--words have a powerful messag -- it can be used to stop the Dem's
1.lib/liberals 2. ACUL 3. Unions 4. Godless 5. the poor ect.. ect.. there is 198 words Rep/conservatives use for their hatred.
You can tell who uses the hatful words and they are the propagandas. It's just to bad that the Rep's have to use propaganda and lies to get their messages across. By the way DIDN'T HITLER USE THIS ALSO. To Quote Newt Gingrich "if you compare President Bush with Hitler, it isn't a bad thing.
You make the choice here--I got away for the Rep's hatefulness

15. Okay steve
I remember when 'environmentalists' & your favorite scientests claimed the horrors of DDT & it got banned from being used!! Since it was by far the best weapon, so to speak, in killing/controling MALARIA when it quit the scene Malaria has continued/increased & now it is very arguable that BILLIONS of people/kids around the world, especially in Africa, have died from Malaria because DDT was/has not around to help stop the Malaria!
We republicans always wonder when will you so called intellectual elitist snobs admit your past mistakes!!
