They did it again. These Republicans are unbelievable. This time it's the head of Young Republicans nationwide. It's another gay sex scandal. This one is even more serious because it involves non-consensual sex.
Glenn Murphy Jr. is chairman of the Clark County Republican Party and was just elected president of the Young Republican National Federation. But now he has to give up his spot because of yet another gay Republican sex scandal. He claims it's because he mysteriously and suddenly got a business offer he couldn't turn down. Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the investigation the police just started against you.
Get a load of what this guy did...
...he lowered the pants of a young man while he was sleeping and tried to give him oral. Come on! Are there no bounds? The other man was not interested, was not gay and was not even awake. But when he did wake up he pursued charges against Murphy.
This isn't even the first time for Murphy. He did almost the same exact thing back in 1998 to another young man. Back then the boy he accosted in his sleep was 21. This time around, the boy as 22. Murphy is 33. By the way, why is a creepy 33 year old guy the head of the Young Republicans? Especially one who already has a track record of trying to give guys oral while they're sleeping.
Are there any Republicans left in the country who are not gay or involved in a sex scandal? It doesn't seem like it anymore. I think I left the Republican Party just in the nick of time, while I still have my pants on.

20. Let's get one thing straight (do I pun?). This preditory Republican is no more gay than I am President of Boliva. He is just another self-hating closet homosexual. I distinguish between homosexual and gay. Homosexual is an orientation,gay is embracing that orientation and being proud of whom you are. So, because of hypocracy and the refusal to accept people as they are, it is understandable that the party of morality and family values harbors so many of these pathetic individuals. In the spirit of Christian charity, I should hate their hypocracy, but love those creeps. Nah.

22. I am gay and a Democrat, not always happy or proud to be a democrat, but am definitely more so than if I were a republican!
I that God, or the collective self or higher self, or what ever spiritual authority one may ascribe to, but being gay is not a choice. How one lives with it is. This is just another fine example of how our society has let themselves down by not treating all people as equal, M/F, gay/straight, white/black/brown/yellow, green, red etc., prosperous or not, good looking or not, handicapped or not, healthy or not so healthy. I by no means am supportive of the actions of this "Glenn" person, but question, who's values had been placed upon him that he resorted to act out his needs and feels in this manner. This not to say he is not at fault, but our society as a whole is. It is obvious he needs help and not punishment. And for those who can't see this I ask: "what in your belief system grants you the authority to judge or place others in your judgment for actions with out knowing what life experiences and lessons lead to the behavior he expressed?
Maybe if we were a little more accepting, honest, supportive in the upbringing of our children, there would not be the frequencies of these issues. I can assure you trying to preserve the sanctity of marriage as between a man a women has not been the answer!

30. Well, I was raped at 2 - 3 yrs of age my an uncle by marriage who raped his 2 daughters their entire life as children and teens. Was raped in college in broad daylight and it was not a date rape. Was sexually harassed in many work positions as a Mental Health Therapist by MALE supervisors, after I had left the Convent of 15 years. NUNS are sought after sex objects, we ARE vigins ....well most of us. PEDOPHILES are wimps who cannot get it up with an equal adult partner because they are WIMPS who were emotionally castrated at some point in their lives. They are PITIFUL PERSONS who cause deep WOUNDS in the lives of many others, if THEY DO NOT KILL THE VICTIM PHYSICALLY....which at times I feel might have saved me 57 years of continued emotional torture. But I am a STRONG WOMAN...and I ACT JUSTLY, LOVE TENDERLY and WALK HUMBLY with the GOD WHO I KNOW TO BE.
