They did it again. These Republicans are unbelievable. This time it's the head of Young Republicans nationwide. It's another gay sex scandal. This one is even more serious because it involves non-consensual sex.
Glenn Murphy Jr. is chairman of the Clark County Republican Party and was just elected president of the Young Republican National Federation. But now he has to give up his spot because of yet another gay Republican sex scandal. He claims it's because he mysteriously and suddenly got a business offer he couldn't turn down. Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the investigation the police just started against you.
Get a load of what this guy did...
...he lowered the pants of a young man while he was sleeping and tried to give him oral. Come on! Are there no bounds? The other man was not interested, was not gay and was not even awake. But when he did wake up he pursued charges against Murphy.
This isn't even the first time for Murphy. He did almost the same exact thing back in 1998 to another young man. Back then the boy he accosted in his sleep was 21. This time around, the boy as 22. Murphy is 33. By the way, why is a creepy 33 year old guy the head of the Young Republicans? Especially one who already has a track record of trying to give guys oral while they're sleeping.
Are there any Republicans left in the country who are not gay or involved in a sex scandal? It doesn't seem like it anymore. I think I left the Republican Party just in the nick of time, while I still have my pants on.

Gays like to compare themselves to discrimination like racism to seek sympathy for there abnormality. It's a choice of how one decides to live there life. Anyone can become a drug addict it doesn't mean it's right, but it's a choice. Think any harm would be done if drug addicts go into the schools and tell children it's ok to try drugs?
When they began pushing for homosexual special rights it all started out with what ever two adults do in their bed room is up to them , seems fair and doesn't bother anyone. Then it all changed to come out of the closet , recruit and corrupt as many as you can especially young children .
The school systems were attacked with homosexual propaganda like Adolf Hitler's youth group mind control , your a racist , bigot and you make the Nazi death camp administrators look like Sunday school teachers if you don't agree and support homosexuality 100 % .
Gay Organizations have already infiltrated school systems and are teaching children it's ok to be gay before they are even old enough to know what sex is. To be fair must we have heroin awareness days in school and have junkies come in and teach the kids how to shoot up so they don't get aids. Just like the gay groups it would be in the guise of doing good helping prevent aids . When all it's really doing is getting children sexually active early so they can join the aids lottery.
Next target was the churches and trying to change truths into lies . Total acceptance of homosexuality is being forced on everyone . I reject homosexuality and all sick perverted sex fetishes they are trying to make special civil rights.

Family Values-touting Republicans tend to become involved in the most creepy sex scandals (gay or otherwise), and the most bigoted, hateful, Bible-quoting Christians seem to have an extraordinarily difficult time with spelling and punctuation. 71. How extraordinary and nerts of G. Murphy Jr. It is surprising he was not physically harmed for what he attempted. Could his actions be somehow deemed more than sexual molestation? Attempting any sort of sexual activity with and unwitting or unwilling subject is tantamount to rape. That he is a conservative Republican should surprise no one since repressed hypocrite's are the more likely to act on their absurd desire.
Cenk, it gives no pleasure learning that an entire year of Thursdays devoted to uncovering such scandals on the Republican side have provided unfailingly great material. As an independent, I wonder what might be found on the Democratic side? This subject really BLOWS our---> minds.

If God didn't want there to be gay people, there wouldn't be gay people? The logic to that is the same as saying if God didn't want there to be murder, there wouldn't be murder. (By the way, radical Calvinists, who believes that some are predestined to damnation (reprobated), would probably agree with you, but not for reasons you'd like.)
Per what you told Carla, I won't speak for God. He speaks for himself, both through Moses and St. Paul:
1. You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Lev. 18:22.
If you're Jewish, that ought to settle the matter right there. If you're a Christian and want to say, "But Jesus satisfied the Law; we are not bound by it," wrong again:
1. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Matt. 5:17.
2. Therefore God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. Rom. 1:26-27.
This is not a matter of hatred or bigotry against anyone. It's about a pattern of conduct which God has unequivocally forbidden and condemned. And it's not a matter of singling out a particular sin for special condemnation; many of us who are not gay have committed worse sins. I know I have. None of that, on the other hand, means that it is not a sin. The good news of the New Testament is that there is forgiveness for this conduct, just as there is forgiveness for any other sin. Believe in Christ and the salvation He has accomplished for you, put your baggage aside, and come through the narrow gate.
The constant barrage in our news and entertainment media--gay, gay, gay--really does become wearisome for anyone who isn't. Carla's right. Lay off the propaganda already.

75. Yeah, I know that some will say the guy is not a pediphile because his targets are young adults and you may be right but as a mom of young adults this is my label. What I find interesting is that this would be a surprise to anyone. Pediphiles dearest goal is to be in a position of leadership/trust linked with continual access to the age group they are into. The political leaning of pediphiles is not a factor that identifies them, they come in all parties. As a Republican Christian I would like to believe that Carla and all megaphone mouth hellfire and damnation responses are planted as devil's advocate remarks to keep the blog lively and rip-on-the-Xian mindset focused. This is a legitimate exposure and anyone in the public eye should expect to have their lives under the limelight. Let's never assume that anyone in any service to youth is above careful examination...I wonder what percentage of pediatricians is a pediphile? Oh what a horendous idea! This group would be difficult to monitor...they have the GOD status of a physician. And just in case anyone is unaware there is a huge number of Republican Christians that would really go for a Green type party that is pro-life, and the gay rights thing, what is the problem with affording them the benifits of domestic partnership to give them financial equality with hetero married couples, Sometimes we as Christians want to make so sure about someone else's suffering consequences of their actions that we are just hateful. Gay people are often very hurting people, what's up with the persecution?
