They did it again. These Republicans are unbelievable. This time it's the head of Young Republicans nationwide. It's another gay sex scandal. This one is even more serious because it involves non-consensual sex.
Glenn Murphy Jr. is chairman of the Clark County Republican Party and was just elected president of the Young Republican National Federation. But now he has to give up his spot because of yet another gay Republican sex scandal. He claims it's because he mysteriously and suddenly got a business offer he couldn't turn down. Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the investigation the police just started against you.
Get a load of what this guy did...
...he lowered the pants of a young man while he was sleeping and tried to give him oral. Come on! Are there no bounds? The other man was not interested, was not gay and was not even awake. But when he did wake up he pursued charges against Murphy.
This isn't even the first time for Murphy. He did almost the same exact thing back in 1998 to another young man. Back then the boy he accosted in his sleep was 21. This time around, the boy as 22. Murphy is 33. By the way, why is a creepy 33 year old guy the head of the Young Republicans? Especially one who already has a track record of trying to give guys oral while they're sleeping.
Are there any Republicans left in the country who are not gay or involved in a sex scandal? It doesn't seem like it anymore. I think I left the Republican Party just in the nick of time, while I still have my pants on.

I honestly can't believe how many sex scandals there have been involving Republicans lately. It makes our job too easy, and too much fun.

Maybe the reason you don't is because God isn't sick of gays, maybe it's because you're a judgmental HAGGISH TROLL(Ihope that sounds GAY!). I think God may be getting tired of small minded, insecure weaklings knocking on his door all day asking for handouts, and sticking their noses so far up his butt that they get lost. 77. In my previous response I had indicated “being gay is not a choice. How one lives with it is”. It seems it may have been interpreted to mean one doesn’t have to live gay (which could be someone’s choice, just not mine, as I am happy and proud to be in a gay “marriage” of 15 years). The problem initially described in the article is disgusting whether it were to have been gay, straight, or pedophilic in nature. I guess what gets my ire the most is when others start making quotes from other “texts” which are perceived or accepted as absolute and final. Unfortunately Christianity is not the only spiritual path, but one of many that should lead to a life or journey of fulfillment of self and universe.
The acts by Glenn as reported in the article are a shame and disgusting to me and many others. But the very Christianity referenced by many in this blog has been used mostly in hatred, anger, and hostility because someone does not practice life as the particular individuals have passed judgment on as being right and just. They should be ashamed. In fact we all should be ashamed of the state of affairs this country has reached; not to hand our heads low, but to hold them high and forthright to work towards a country that does treat all its citizens as equal and pursues to promote this practice around the world we live. Idealistic – YES, but where would we be without ideals for the individual and common good.
Was the intent of the article to just put another black eye on republicans (and/or gays)? Probably. What happened to the purpose of our political election process in which we are attempting to find who is best suited for the political office, to uphold the constitution for which this country was founded and presumably what our history has been based on (unfortunately not always successfully and honestly since most of its land mass was stolen or swindled for by our ancestors and forefathers, but that is another sidebar). I believe the words of the constitution starts with the following preamble:
Preamble
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility*, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
*Domestic tranquility does not refer to the state of marriage.
That being said again, is it not our objective to elect an individual who will work to the best of their ability to defend and execute selflessly the values for which this country is supposedly based on?
As much as I am disappointed by Carla’s views and the sentiments of many others who have responded on this blog, I hope, pray, and wish for them (in fact for all of us) to grow beyond where we are today.

Because like a lawyer who puts someone on the stand that completely unravels his case by their testimony your suggestion did not yield any scientic new info. It shows possible links, but also is emphatically inconclusive,only an intellectually irresponsible person would force the results to prove their own dearly held beliefs. Isn't this just reprehensible when Christians do this with scripture; twist it to support their own concepts? Yes, well it is just as repulsive when it is done by the left with inconclusive data. Objective observers with a nonjudgemental point of view...they are the surest champions of truth. Of course objectivity and the human condition will always be a continual dilemma.PEACE.

Right up to the leave God alone he has got a universe to run...the concept that we are his hands and feet is a new one,I guess for you,well it is never too late to grasp this loving Godhead deal. The universe is in great need of this awareness. It doesn't require another skilled foreign policy negotiator, neurosurgeon or cure for cancer(not that all of these are not admirable and needed) quite so much as it is in need of people committed to this Love work. 84. I find a few things upsetting about this article. Cenk Uygur makes a big case of the offender's sexuality. I understand that being a Republican the offender's homosexuality becomes an issue because the Republican party is so homophobic. However Uygur seems to share their disgust for homosexuals. Another problem is when Uygur refers to the victims of this creep as boys when they are 21 and 22 thereby spreading the rumer that all Gay men are pederasts. The offender's crime is that he attempted to performed unwanted sex on these men. As a Gay men myself I find the bahavior of the offender reprehensible. We homosexuals do not condone that sort of offense toward men women Gay or Straight as one commentater wrote.

Bob Allen (R-FL). Allen show the truth about Rep's -- Elected Official Blames His Arrest on FEar of Black People--Fear Caused Bob Allen to Solicit Gay Form Undercover Cop. 8-07--07 LOL
To make the story short--Mr. Allen went into a bathroom saw this Black Gay--Mr Allen ask this Black Guy if he could have sex wiht him and Allen would give the Unercover Cop 20 bucks. LOL
Mr. Allen stated "I fear for my life". Mr. Allen is known for his anti-gay legislation.

89. So check this out......Carla, This morning I read what you had written and was very angry, so I wrote into this blog. What I said was felt and meant, in the moment. However, as my day wore on, I went to work as a visitation monitor for the Family Courts in the county I live in. Today, I learned a lesson from a child, and I have changed my mind.(MA) I feel differently than you, and you feel differently than me, and that is okay. I do not identify with the remarks you made, however, they reflect the way you feel, and I appreciate that. I may or may not agree, but that doesn't matter. You are free to be who you are , just like everyone else. So, go ahead and feel what you feel and be who you are. Just make sure that you allow the same courtesy to others. I wonder how much more we would get done if everyone focused on their own lives and not other peoples. I think we all may find ourselves being alot less judgmental and alot further in our own personal development. I hope you have had a great day, and continue to do so. Thank You.
