Police Accused of Using Provocateurs at SPP Summit

*Edit, I posted this yesterday but it looks like more information has come out, the Canadian Press (CP) has picked up the story, and Canadian Bloggers are covering this non-stop. the interesting note is that although the three protesters were handcuffed and taken away, they were actually *not* arrested and there is no record of the event, that is bullshit, the cops should release the names of the provocateurs.

Something that many are unaware when watching protest footage on television is that within the protest group are undercover agents, many police officers. For reasons I can't explain (but you can use your imagination) these police officers try to provoke riots. In this case three alleged police officers were outed by a crowd of peaceful protesters at the SPP meetings in Montebello Quebec. The provocateur were armed with rocks and sticks and were likely going to use them to try to start a riot.

The facts aren't in yet whether or not these men were actually police officers but the protest group has good reason to suspect. Here is an old Bill Moyers exposé on police provocateurs..
