I had no idea how you were supposed to proposition men for homosexual sex in a public restroom. But luckily, now the conservative Republican Senator from Idaho, Larry Craig has filled us all in. He was caught trying to proposition a cop for gay sex in an airport in Minnesota. And apparently there is a secret code for that request. Watch the video below to find out what you're supposed to do to ask for this kind of sex act in a bathroom:
After we did this segment on the show this morning, we got a ton of calls confirming that this is true. Men called in saying they have done this trick many times before and it has worked. I loved the truck driver who said he used to do it, but he doesn't anymore. Sure, whatever gets you through the night.
Man, these Republicans are unbelievable! How many sex scandals is this now? And how many of them are gay? I would list all of them here but I have other things to do today. We have been doing a segment called Republican Sexcapades every week on our show for the last year -- and we go through about three stories a week. We are nowhere near running out.
Remember the Republican in Florida who propositioned the undercover cop in a men's room and then pretended he was scared of black people and offered to service the guy out of fear. Remember the head of the Young Republicans who would lower young men's pants while they were sleeping and try to force himself upon them.
Remember Mark Foley who hit on the underage male interns working for Congress. Apparently, Larry Craig got in trouble for the same thing back in 1982 (and back then the interns said there were 10 to 15 Congressmen who were trying to have sex with the teenage interns -- that is beyond belief). Remember David Vitter who campaigned against Bill Clinton's immoral behavior and then got caught on the DC madam's list (and with a New Orleans hooker to boot).
It goes on and on. Are there any Republican politicians left in the country who aren't involved in a sex scandal or gay? And all of this would be funny but not very relevant if it weren't for the gross, gigantic hypocrisy. Listen to Larry Craig talk about family values here (that's why he says he supports Mitt Romney -- who of course jettisoned Craig from the campaign quicker than you could shuffle your feet in a men's room).
So, it turns out Mr. Conservative Family Values Republican Senator was looking to have gay trysts in public restrooms. You'd be surprised if you weren't so used to it already. So, the next time a Republican comes around saying they are going to protect your family from gay people, think about what he must be doing in a public restroom near you.

UPDATE: Larry Craig is not gay! And he's never been gay!! At least that's what he says. Listen to this hilarious press conference he had yesterday and the even funnier Meet the Press appearance from 1999 when he was speaking about Bill Clinton's sex life:
UPDATE II: It looks like Larry Craig has finally resigned. We don't know if it's to pursue his dream as a tap dancer in a local bathroom near you.

76. 60. You liberal idiots want all the gay to have rights then get pissed and make fun of any gay republican "
You don't get it -- the democrats aren't the ones raising the banner of "family values" and vehemently opposing gay rights. No one's making fun of him for being gay -- they're making fun of him for being a hypocrite -- him and other right-wingers.

77. Don't think for one minute that Homosexuality and Hypocricy are limited to one side of the isle. Republican homosexuals are easier to sting because they don't do hookers or porn stars. What the heck was a police man doing hanging around in a men's room looking for gay sex? Was he off duty or a sting operation under cover? Did Larry Flynt or the DC Madam have anything to do with this setup? When anybody gets caught with their pants down, isn't it easier to admit guilt instead of fighting? What kind of self-respecting police officer goes swimming on duty? This is entrapment if I ever saw it and besides it's not a crime to be gay...I'm not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with it. I wouldn't want to watch a heterosexual couple play footsie in the John. It takes "Two" to do the Toilet Tango! If either one took "It" out, he had to plead "Guilty." How many Senators have done that...TNTC? It looks like a Sting Stupid! Is this going back to the good ole days of Clinton? We know how to fight them. Both should go away!

And we wonder why STD's are rampant! WTF, you are GAY, get on with it, man. CONDOMS,very cheap very available, sort of like you, CONGRESSMAN!

79. 68. All these republicans are getting their panties in a bundle over this....
I take offense at your comment. Not the hypocrisy issue...that one is clear. And not the "gay" issue...this Senator is clearly homophobic which is a diagnosable mental illness. My offense is your use of "panties." Unless you have breaking news that these hypocrites are cross-dressers, let's keep the facts straight, or in a progressively forward motion, and refer to their angst as "tighty whities in a wad" or "twist" if you prefer. These fellows don't seem to be "boxer-types", so, that point will be moot for the time being, unless someone else has any insight into the undergarment issue.

82. Newsflash... Craig being homosexual isn't an issue. Craig being a member of a political party that had repeatedly and systematically attacked, undermined, and persecuted homosexuals isn't an issue. You have every right to be a bigot. It's Craig being a homosexual while being a member of this party that is an issue... and that issue is hypocracy. It's a hypocracy that Cheney is equally guilty of with regards to his gay daughter. Republicans like Craig, Cheney, and others need to make up their minds... either homosexuality is an abomination that has no place in American families and certainly not in their party, or they need to admit what 66% of Americans already have come to realize: that homosexuality is a lifestyle that causes no harm to others and should be respected equality to heterosexual relationships.
As for the propositioning a cop... well that's bad whether Craig's straight or not.

83. I don't care about the guy's sexuality. But he is a complete idiot if he thought he could enter a guilty plea as a United States Senator, hoping it would never come out. Another example of why term limits aren't a bad idea. People of Idaho: You sent this moron to congress for many years. Look what you have wrought.

84. yes, republicans always looking to victimize someone else to purify themselves from their own disgusting selves. good point probablecausze.

85. Senator Coleman said Craig "plead guilty to a crime involving conduct unbecoming a senator". The article I read said Coleman was calling for Craig to step down. I just want to know everyones opinions on this premise. If all our representatives stepped down who haven't plead guilty to "conduct unbecoming", how many representatives would be left? I don't care whether you're a liberal or a conservative, democrat or republican, these people all seem to think they are above the law and have nothing to worry about, as they have polarized the populace with nonsense issues.

86. This goes to show that not only is Craig Gay but he is a very nasty Gay men. Just think he is playing "footish" with an undercover cop in the next stall who is taking a shit just like Craig is doning in his stall. That is nasty, but I have always took Black people that white people are some of the nastest people to live on earth. Senator "Nasty Ass" Craig you mama would be proud of you for keep up the truth of white people being nasty. How is engaging in an act of oral sex with a man or woman sex? You white people do know how to come up with some nasty shit! When your stealing fathers land on this land which was inhabited by the Native American you did not hunt for you food so you guy ate your dead comrades. Nasty ass white people!

88. The clueless twits who are defending this degenerate are exactly the same as the losers who defend Michael Vick:
Vick is defended just because he's black, and Craig is defended just because he's republican.

90. >>Honestly, isn't it possible that Sen. Craig was just killing time while taking care of a matter of a personal nature? Considering how tight seating is in commercial aircraft, maybe his foot was still asleep, and he was trying to get the blood flowing again.
