The media went nuts mocking and giving their own take on Miss Teen SC, but the President of the United States isn't that articulate himself. For a complete list of Bushisms, check out this Slate.com posting.
Coincidentally, this next Bushism was performed in South Carolina.

46. Actually, Mr. or Mdm. clalexander, my life is full, I worked my tush off for 25 years to own my own manufacturing corporation and happily raised two strong, independent, well educated, tolerant, empathetic, multi-ethnic women, although very beautiful, physically, they realize if they were not well educated and marry and abused by their husband, divorce or choose not to marry they have an education which allows them a career to support THEMSELVES. Ergo, they can have the option to leave if necessary. The physical beauty of a woman, unfortunately, will not give them quite as many options. As these persons whom choose to use their beauty as a career path, they will one day grow older and what will their choices be then?

47. Rhodalee,
I focus on my own life and what I am doing. The decision of a woman to remain ignorant and exploit her looks is her business. Some women want to be models; others astronauts. Some women want a career and others want to work within the home. The reason I have never been a Feminist is precisely because the movement wants everyone to have the same life goals. No one is more qualified to know what will make you happy than yourself. Also, no one can judge, except God. If Ms. Teen SC wants a life based on her looks then that is her right. If someone else wants to go to medical school and use her brain then that is her right. Everyone must decide how they will use the time allotted to them. I hate to disagree with you, but being smart does not yield the same benefits as being pretty. It is a reality that I accept without bitterness or resentment.
