ABC Anchors Laugh at Owen Wilson Suicide Attempt
In their report on Owen Wilson's suicide attempt, ABC's World News Now anchors Taina Hernandez and Ryan Owens couldn't stop giggling. The word "depression" made Hernandez especially giddy. Oh, it's probably just how some people involuntarily laugh at funerals, we thought at first. But no: watch the whole video to see the far-less-classy reason for their delirium. Then check out their "apology" here. Funny, we drink a lot of coffee too, but it never turned us into a five-year-old.

61. Mike and Dave #9, you are Repulsive, Repugnant and Reprehensible individuals and I may only wish for you that when your own Patently apparent, latent internal Demons catch up to you and you determine to act out and demonstrate as you surely will, in due run of time, that your family (friends??),associates will have more pity and consideration for you and your life, person hood, humanity than you than you are extending to this individual.

62. Mike, your middle name is 'harsh'. Do not particularly care when sick humour is directed at yourself.

63. It would have been one thing if the anchorwomen had only gotten the giggles, but then apologized and then briefly explained what she was laughing at. but for her to say, "I'm not going to tell you. It's too imature" and hen dismiss the matter with a pretentious "Ha-ha" was just plain disrespectful. I hope Mr. Wilson has a speedy recovery.

64. #20-"America should have written in Federal Law and in moral ipso facto that it is off limits without the person of subjects consent to joke around with matters pertaining to human faults and/or mishaps and be able to verbally or literally publish these delirious opinions." While I agree the press unnecessarily delves into celebrities private lives (and it's absolutely innapropriate to make light of Mr. Wilson's situation at this point), dear, that would be the end of comedy altogether.

65. I doubt she will ever find her way off the wee early morning hour news if she isn't able to contain herself any better when talking about such a serious matter. That was absolutely ridiculous!

67. You over-sensitive whiners. He tried to kill himself. They got a case of the giggles. WGAS. Maybe you should step back realize you're getting worked up over a celebrity you think you know and care about. I'm sure he's thinking about you right now. Maybe you should evaluate your meaningless lives. Those anchors did nothing wrong. Move on. I think there's some new Britney Spears news.

68. What is more pathetic than two overpaid, underaged, undignified journalists laughing inappropriately at a sad and disturbing story (with a background file that for some reason discusses Owen's uncle Hoe...and let me add, if you look at your keyboard you will see the "h" next to the "j", so his name IS Joe), is all the psycho's who come in here and actually laugh at Wilson and tell him he should have tried harder. God forbid any of you are in any position of authority. Shameful.
