During this debate season, Fox News decided to add "cell phone voting" to the post-debate analysis. After the first debate, Ron Paul won the cell phone vote, much to the displeasure of the Fox News pundits (youtube video from that debate here.)
The second Fox News debate was no different. Pundits Hannity and Colmes assure the audience that Ron Paul is winning the poll simply because people are redialing. What is the point of having a poll if people are able to abuse it? Ron Paul supporters, a bit tired of being beaten down by the media, put together this video to debunk the Hannity and Colmes "redialing theory."
I am curious to know if Fox News viewers would like to see each candidate treated fairly, or if they prefer that the newscasters go as far as lying to make some candidates look worse than others.

46. Donald Breyer, Ron is the ONLY candidate who didn't use sarcasm or make desperate attempts at humouring the audience. To say HE was grandstanding means you didn't actually watch the debate but just dislike him.

47. Well, Fox News Fuehrer Roger Ailes is the Team Giuliani Media Consultant. I wonder if this has something to do with it? If that is not illegal it should be.

48. I disagree that most of RonPaul's supporters are liberetarians and old world repubs. I'm a long term dem from birth to union parents, but I believe that our oversized government is being so mismanaged that all of my taxes are being trickled away, with very little actually helping those they were to serve. SO Fire the government, since its so broken. Set the the states up to take care of their own programs and demand that they be accountable for it!! Go RonPaul20008.

49. This is such BS. I actually went to text my vote for Ron Paul and accidentally it R5 instead of R6. (i was watching an old TV and it was fuzzy.) When I realized my mistake, I tried to text back R6, and it said, AND THIS IS EXACTLY COPIED FROM MY TEXT INBOX: "You have already voted on tonight's debate. Thank you for your participation."
These claims are rediculous. I wrote Fox News and told them the only thing that was second tier about the debate was their moderators. I have seen 5th graders ask better questions, and act more mature than those guys. They sort of have that, "you're not on my team, so I dont have to like you" attitude. Or better yet, the "you're winning, so I am going to put you down and lie to make myself feel better" attitude. I am surprised no one laid on the floor and kicked their legs in a temper tantrum. Despite the rediculous questions, Ron Paul made solid points, and spoke absolute truth, and you could hear the crowd was thrilled with what he's saying. They can only get away with this so long.
I was at a pool match at the time, and told everyone around me - now watch this - he'll win the text poll, and fox will completely ignore him and dismiss him... They didnt believe me. Lo and behold - he was given no credit whatsoever. (mind you last debate he was around 29% this debate he was up to at least 35% at one point.) It is important to show people what is happening.
And what was up with the laughing in the background when people asked if he was taking his orders from the enemy? The most beautiful answer of all night was: NO! I take my marching orders from the CONSTITUTION - not from any enemy.
Awesome debate. It was great to see Ron Paul fired up!

50. Or, perhaps Paul is attracting people who, like myself, could only *barely* convince themselves to vote for Democrats in previous elections because we didn't want to march in lock-step with the Leo Strauss neoconservatives like Wolfowitz and Cheney. No, voting democrat was a compromise for me in the past. Voting for Paul will be done without reservation.

51. Ron Paul is a joke ... does it really matter who laughs? Ron is very popular with the callin gang and online polls that consist of every limp Lefty with nothing better to do ... not republicans.
The man mouths the demo line perfectly, so one is forced to wonder why he's not debating Hillary and friends.
Paul is a media creation that most of us never even heard of. The last place he belongs is in a republican debate. Next.

52. So Thomas, you believe the consitution is a joke. That is all Ron stands for.

53. Maybe Fox Noise is afraid that Ron Paul is the Next Gay Republican... He has a name with two first names like Larry Craig... Unlike Craig, Paul makes sense, but that should never get in the way of a Fox Noise Slamjob. Perhaps Sean Hannity or John Gibson is gay. They are both kinda weird. Hannity has those beady eyes and Gibson is freaky looking. Imagine what the public Mensroom looks like at any GOP function. Kind of like the Star Wars Bar from Saturday Night Live.

54. "Why Does Fox News Hate Ron Paul?"
Because he's a f*cking whackjob?

55. Ron Paul is the only Republican I would consider voting for. He speaks the truth when many people just don't want to hear it.

56. When I first heard of Ron Paul, I sat up and took notice of the fact that he was once an Air Force Flight Surgeon. I was an NCOIC of several Aeromedical Services units ("Flight Surgeon's Office) and thought "wow, here's a candidate that I may be able to relate to." That's when things started going south, and the more I listened, the more "kooky" things got. Getting rid of the CIA, FBI, IRS?? Yeah, okey dokey. Not to mention the Lyndon LaRouche-ite cult following, where you can almost visualize those who tell you to vote for Paul, as sitting around, yoga style, while worshipping a rock that they pulled out of their garden. Fun to listen to-- if you like saying; "you gotta be f-ing kidding me, " every thirty seconds. An intelligent version of Al Franken.

57. Ron Paul's supporters are from each side of the spectrum. I don't think people are red or blue, they are people first. Ron Paul attracts every American and he is uniting the country. His momentum is that of a freight train.

58. I am a professional nurse and have been a conservative republican for 30 yrs. That being said , I support Dr./Congressman Ron Paul 110% for stance of reminding our wasteful government that our country was not founded to be a socialist/fascist welfare system/state. We are not mandated to oxymoronically FORCE democracies on other countries that donot wish to have a democracy. I also am voting for Ron Paul because he has a good memory that our nation is a "republic" and NOT a democracy. Just this week there were amti-war protesters arrested due to using their constitutional 1st amendment rights to free speech. People are being arrested due to anti-Bush slogans on their T-Shirts. Something so small to some, is extremely detrimental in preserving our constitutional rights to assemble and protest if some citizens deem it necessary. The increase in executive priviledge and privacy in government has increased four-fold. The fearmongering from our government officials is out of control. I want my country back...And Ron Paul is the right direction as well as voting out many "incumbent" candidates when elections come around again. Heck, I may even run for city council! We need others that love their country and can't be bought and paid for working FOR the people instead of people working FOR the government.

59. I think the thing about Ron Paul that upsets some Republicans is the ovation he gets from audiences that are 100% Republican every time he talks about how stupid the War in Iraq is. Many Republican voters are against this War. The powers that be in Republican Land can't accept that reality. The Republican Party is going to implode over this. They are nowhere near united. Which is why None of the above is leading the pack. Ron is right Fred Thompson entering the race does help him because it further divides the War Cheerleader vote. Because of that he could do a lot better than people think he will. That is why Fox hates him. He is peeing on their parade.

60. Dear Mel
Informed Canadians are fully aware of the purpose and intent of NAFTA, WTO, The Amero, and North American Super Highways. We are are also fully aware of the implications of a FIAT monetary system which somehow seems to elude the conscious awarness of most Americans. We value our sovereignty and see Ron Paul as Hope for North America.
