During this debate season, Fox News decided to add "cell phone voting" to the post-debate analysis. After the first debate, Ron Paul won the cell phone vote, much to the displeasure of the Fox News pundits (youtube video from that debate here.)
The second Fox News debate was no different. Pundits Hannity and Colmes assure the audience that Ron Paul is winning the poll simply because people are redialing. What is the point of having a poll if people are able to abuse it? Ron Paul supporters, a bit tired of being beaten down by the media, put together this video to debunk the Hannity and Colmes "redialing theory."
I am curious to know if Fox News viewers would like to see each candidate treated fairly, or if they prefer that the newscasters go as far as lying to make some candidates look worse than others.

61. Ron Paul backers are the same as Buchanan backers. Isolationists. Not that it's a bad view in theory. Has anyone else noticed the education level or lack of it from his supporters? Go back to school people. Learn to read and to write. Your message communicated properly will hold more value. The poll votes are real. It's called enthusiasm when nobody else cares to vote. But the isolationism has been debunked and voted down and proved bad for the world. People look at everything you buy and see who makes it? DUH!!!!!!!!!!

62. Ken Becklin, no, Ron Paul is not an isolationist. He’s a non-interventionist. Those are not synonyms, but two very different terms.
An isolationist wants to withdraw from the world, and not have any dealings whatsoever with other nations. A non-interventionist wants the US to stop INTERVENING in the sovereign affairs of other nations.
Think about it: what would WE do if ANY other nation tried to do to us what we’ve been doing to other nations for the past few decades? What would YOU, PERSONALLY, do, if, oh, say, France or China or Russia decided that our President needed to be overthrown, arrested, and executed, and invaded our soil to accomplish that? Or even that the leader we had elected was not good enough, and so overthown him and set up one more to their liking (as we&rsqo;ve done MANY times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it has come back to haunt us: Google “Shah of Iran” for instance — I was alive for that one and remember it well)?
Our Founding Fathers were also non-interventionists for the most part: “Friendship and trade with all nations, entangling alliances with none.” “We are the supporters of freedom fighters everywhere, but defenders only of our own.”
Jane, Fox News tells it like it is? So, Congressman Mark Foley is a Democrat, then, even though he ran as a Republican, was elected as a Republican, carries a Republican Party membership card, participated in Republican National Conventions, etc. etc. etc., but despite all that, he MUST be a Democrat because Faux News put a “(D-FL)” instead of an “(R-FL)” after his name when showing him during the teen sex scandal, right?
Video of this is still available on YouTube and elsewhere on the Internet if you don’t believe me.
If Fox had done that only once, I would chalk it up to an honest mistake. But, they did it AGAIN more recently, with ANOTHER GOP lawmaker caught in a scandal. Lo, on Fox News, and ONLY on Fox News, a “(D)” appears after his name.
But, Fox News tells it like it is. Whatever they say MUST be the truth, no matter what such petty trivialities as REALITY might say to the contrary.

63. No one wants to bomb Iran. Most want the troops home. How the hell could Paul lose the election unless it is rigged? Wake up you mofo's. The Bush administration is planning a false flag attack to blame on Iran. Bush will declare war on Iran, the he will declare martial law. End of free elections in the United States. Google the REX 84 program which was intended to rould up illegals from Mexico. So why aren't they being rounded up? What are they planning doing with the FEMA REX 84 camps? Stay tuned and find out on the next episode of "AMERIKA." Did you guys forget about the plane carrying 5-6 nuke armed cruise missiles. Do you people think that was a fking accident? Not hardly. I would suspect that they don't just let nuclear cruise missiles go on joyrides around the US for the hell of it. The American people were just sent a warning by some caring individuals in the Air Force. OR ALEX JONES IS FULL OF SHIT.

64. Are any of you from Texas besides Mel? Most of the supporters I find for Ron Paul are A.)Do not live in Texas or B.) Live in Texas but have not followed politics until the war in Iraq. Needless to say, most of his supporters do not really KNOW Ron Paul. He is the Senator of my district in Texas, and I am so ashamed. I keep praying we'll elect someone else. When I first heard about Ron Paul as a presidential candidate, I couldn't stop laughing. Thankfully, he will never get elected b/c most of his supporters will probably forget to vote.

65. Im from Texas and support Ron Paul. Evidently you really dont pay much attention to local politics as you try to give that impression, but dont even know that Ron Paul is a Congressman (Congressional Representative) and not a Senator. Really I think Pauls voters are MOST likely to vote and not you as you dont even know which office he currently holds. Do YOU even know how many congressional reps are from Texas? How about How many Senators each state is alloted. Go Back To School Tiffany.

66. Hannity is a chickenhawk who never served, but seems to have some homosexual obsession with we that did, fawning and slurping our boots. He's a pompous jackass, just like O'Reilly, and a major hypocrite.

67. I just popped in to say I agree with the poor way Brit Hume moderated that debate and I emailed him to say so. As for RP being so poorly treated, he was allowed 6 responses, including the 2 minute tit for tat with Mike Huckabee counted as one response. Duncan Hunter was only allowed 5 responses and my guy Tom Tancredo 4 while Mitt Romney was asked 11 questions. Tom Tancredo is the one the whole msm is trying to keep hidden while the whole CFR selected top tier is taking up the issues he brought to the campaign. No one is rearranging their agenda and flip flopping on issues to try to bury Ron Paul.
It is the Council on Foreign Relations driving this train, people. All of the top tier in both parties are members. There is even an article you can read on line CFR STACKS THE DECK. Look it up and read it.

68. NATO is to blame for IRAQ. The League of Nations started this war 90 years ago by creating Iraq out of tribes in continual warfare. As spoils of WW1. Wilson had the sense to stay out and follow the constitution. . The British had to abandon Iraq and Afghanistan in 1922 because they were going broke. This is the same war for oil in Iraq and controlling narcotics in Afghanistan as in 1918. The U.N. and Bush just are continuing the war at the urgings of british intel on UN resolutions 90 years later.
Ron Paul is not against free trade with Canada. His policies will result in much more trade with Canada and Mexico. He is against aliances that destroy our soveriengty and constitution.
The world would be much more peaceful without NATO and the UN. Learn your history. Many are saying RP's stances are not what they really are. go to his web site and learn. RonPaul2008.com
End the War on Drugs, in Iraq and Restore the Constitution.
IF YOU DON'T VOTE FOR RP YOUR VOTING FOR WW3 / CONTINUAL WAR AND ARMAGEDDON. AND MOST CERTAINLY THE FINANCIAL COLLAPSE OF THE U.S. BUT IF HE DOESN'T WIN, DON'T WORRY JUST MOVE TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY BECAUSE AMERICA HAS BECOME A FASCIST POLICE STATE AND OUR CONSTITUION AND REPUBLIC ARE LOST. WE ARE AN ANATHEMA TO THE WORLD , HYPOCRITES LIVING IN A DICTATORSHIP , INGNORING THE RULE OF LAW IN THE NAME OF SPREADING "DEMOCRACY."
R.P IS THE ONLY CHOICE.

69. Pre-Debate obvious Bias. 10-21-07 Florida. Fox goes through the entire pre-debate show without mentioning Ron Paul and names McCain as the candidate who stands apart from the others on the issues. Debates start in 8 minutes. More of the same BS from Fox.
Faux News! The propoganda ministry.

70. I texted ONCE for Ron Paul last night. I can't get over how Fox is completely disrespecting both Ron Paul and us! He clearly won the debate, and he will win New Hampshire also. Ron Paul is the first candidate for anything to whom I have given money. FoxNews wants to feed us a candidate of their choosing and they have all kinds of conspiracy theories for when *the people* indicate anything else. I am a republican 38 year old soccer mom and I am voting for Ron Paul.

72. He is not low in the polls. All the on line polls (which have many more voters) show him far ahead of anyone else. Some of the big polling companies only poll 500-1000 people. If Dr Paul doesn't really have the numbers, where is all the money coming from? Certainly not Big Business or Special Interest Groups!
What has NATO or the UN done for this country lately. Some posters here better read something more intelligent than People Magazine!
Only Dr Paul can save this country. We are in some SERIOUS TROUBLE!!

73. A lot of people (like Douglas, comment #67) like to insinuate that Ron Paul is actually crazy. That's why he says these radical things, that's why his opinions are so different.
But anyone whose listened to this guy for 10 minutes on youtube can tell you-- he's a logical guy. Personally, I don't agree with him on everything, but I respect the fact that he seems to be honest, and rational. His opinions have reasons, even if you disagree with those reasons. So don't go telling me that Ron Paul is crazy because his opinions happen to be different from everybody else's.
If you're going to call something crazy, call today's government crazy. The American government of today is ineffective, partisan, and unattached to the average American. Voting turnout in local elections is usually less than 10%. Nobody gives a damn about politics! And nobody gives a damn about politics because politics is largely unnecessary. Since when did you think to yourself, "Boy, I sure need another law!". And this is EXACTLY the message of Ron Paul, that we don't need anything from government right now except to be left on our own, to be left with our money in our pockets, and not in the hands of the capitol hill aristocracy.
I don't agree with Ron Paul on a lot of things, but the mere fact that he is _different_, this is something very special. Come on people, let's shake up this system and make politics meaningful again. Vote for Ron Paul, or don't bother voting at all-- because Ron Paul is the only candidate offering a meaningful difference to the American people.
