14. Well Mo, you'll be glad to know that I ran into Jen Simard today. I saw Spelling Bee again with a friend of mine and although I wasn't chosen this time around to participate onstage, it was nice to see the first part of the show from the audience's perspective. Jen and I had a nice little chat before the show in the lobby. Always good to rub elbows with Broadway's best now and then. The theatre loves me, what can I say? I also plopped down $25 bucks for a t-shirt but anything to spread word about the Bee.

As for this nonsense, I really never even liked the whole High School Musical craze. I saw bits and pieces of the original movie. It’s a sugary sweet Disney plotline, coupled with some songs that grow tiresome and dull. It’s not even about a musical, it’s just kids in high school singing occasionally. I believe we already got that scenario back in ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’, plus that had more guitars and Abe Lincoln. Now when the High School Musical kids actually attempt to do a real musical, then maybe I’ll give them more credit. However, Ms. Vanessa Hudgens here likes to show off more than her vocal capabilities. Really can’t blame her though, look at Lohan and her debauchery. It’s the Disney Curse.

You can bet Pinocchio was packing more than just a long nose. However, in ‘The Lion King’ where it appears to say ‘SEX’ in a cloud of dust and leaves, it actually says ‘SFX’, an abbreviation for ‘Special Effects’ but many still come to the conclusion that it indeed says sex.

Either way, it’s not like Disney ever intended to promote trashy ideals. It just came about that way. We all know ‘Bambi’ is usually a nickname for strippers, ‘Snow White’ is a codename for ‘cocaine’ and I don’t even want to get into the perverted intricacies of ‘Lady and the Tramp’ or the deviance of ‘The Little Mermaid’.

Who knows, perhaps this nude photo will be good publicity. Maybe teenage guys won’t be so hesitant to see the stupid movie now despite at the request of their nagging girlfriends; they’ll have more incentive to watch it, especially if Vanessa here has indeed shown off her… unmentionables.
