Bush has announced that he is going to withdraw 30,000 troops from Iraq a year from now -- maybe. That would leave us in the same exact position we were in after the 2006 elections. So, he will have surged, then unsurged. And in the end, he will have done nothing about getting us out of Iraq -- which was his plan all along. He just wanted to run the clock out so he can blame the next president when Iraq inevitably goes down the tubes.
Now, who would be so stupid as to buy into this plan to stay the course, yet again? The Democrats, of course!
New York Times is reporting that Democrats are working on a compromise that gives George Bush exactly what he wants. I explain what the compromise is in the video below. Have you ever seen a group of people so pathetically weak your whole life? And ironically, they are trying to convince Americans that they are strong by agreeing with Bush. It's so miserably stupid.
I wrote about whether the Democrats will give in to this fraud of a proposal here. What do you think -- do the Democrats fold again? And will you have any respect for them if they do?

1. What makes you think the dems are caving into Bush?
Maybe all along they agree with a lot of what hes doing. Actions speak louder than words and their actions are HUGE.

2. I never had any respect for the current Dems to lose.

3. It's not very hard for Bush to pull the wool over the dopey Dems. When you get your agenda from moveon.org, you can't be very bright to begin with. Maybe the Dems should try something else???

4. Bush will start bringing some troops home by the summer of '08. JUST in time for the election in November.
No doubt Bush and Rice will try to paint a smiley face on Iraq as a success the way Nixon and Kissinger did with Vietnam.

5. ...answer to question...YES...,not for the millionth time. The dems. know this is a world war. They just want to blame President Bush to score points to win in '08.

6. Hey dumbasss...they are cavin in, as you put it, because they fear the repercussions of the electorate...Such is the state of the Dem party..constantly trying to read tea leaves and opinion polls before planning a course of action.
This guy is the dumbest asss on the internet....and that's saying something.

7. Cenk: Most of your democrats would roll over for anyone with a wad of cash...Norman Hsu ring a bell? It must be a real bitch to find out that there are people with integrity in the Democrat Party even though they qualify to be on the Endangered Species list.

8. Wow, the dorks are even more dazed and confused that I thought... First, you're mistaken if you think the dems stand for ANYTHING. They say they want to force Bush's hand into surrender, but will never take ownership of what will inevitably follow. So as usual, their "convictions" only go so far and in this case, they only succeed if the US fails. So a Pelosi sighting (even accompanied by the shrill rambling) is actually a sign of good news and progress, for those that want a positive outcome in Iraq...

10. The Democrats are the party fighting for the rights of the people, the regular people, in the country. Will they cave to Bush? I sure hope not. War mongering Bush and Cheney are corrupt and evil. Some people voted these scary idiots into the whitehouse and a couple of states finished up by cheating them in. Republicans are the cavers and the scum with no back bone or brain. They have followed the orders from Cheney for so long they don't know how to think for themselves. Can we say DRAFT? Can we say IRAN? That is what the bushites plan to do before leaving office - attack Iran. So are you Bush lovers happy to see society as we know it come to an end?

11. What do the people of the United States want? Well, if the Dems are trying to give it to them... they'd be in deep shit.
The people are apparently a bunch of whiney babies. A party that juggles every groups concerns is bound to look a bit wishy-washy compared to the other party that will promise you anything then make the rich richer...
You want equality..... no you don't, you want to be rich. It seems like there are a lot of marginal people who would vote for the 'rich guy' party because that makes them 'feel' rich.
Who, in their right mind would be 'pro-war'? Well, as it turns out ... way more people than I'd have ever imagined.
Can Christians sell their collective souls for some faith-based initiatives? Shit yea!! But... who woulda thunk?
Ya wouldn't think that people would care for a president that ALWAYS said one thing... then did the other, now ... would ya?
Well, it turns out that the people, the fickle, fickle people actually seem to LIKE being fucked ever so gently... and they even like it 'rough' sometimes too.
To be the party that says ...I want to do what YOU, the people WANT.. is not easy... but it's the people that are retarded... and that makes the party LOOK retarded, because your platform is going to be as young or as old as when you first got into power... so old Dems might have a completely different agenda than the younger set.
Conservatives on the other hand always want the rich staying rich... or the rich getting richer...
... or did I miss something?

12. We MUST NOT GIVE GEORGE BUSH ANY MORE MONEY FOR IRAQ! That is the bottom line, if we stop giving him money except to bring the troops home, then he will finally bring the troops home or face a REVOLT on his hands from the federal government and his own soldiers.
Iraq is a war that has already been lost... Actually, check that. The ORIGINAL war that we got into in Iraq WAS won, however we are now in another CIVIL war in Iraq, with the Iraqi's fighting among themselves, pretty much divided along sectarian lines.

13. I will have tremendous respect for the Democrats, if they chose to support President Bush in his personnel needs for Iraq.
Remember that Bill Clinton promised a middle-class tax cut as a part of his 1992 campaign promises. But after looking at the finances of the federal government, he decided that he needed to raise taxes.
It's easy to simply give the people what they want, when what they want isn't in their best interest. If Bill had cut taxes, the deficit would have ballooned.
So, I applaud the Democrats for doing the right thing.

14. 1.What was the last good thing that democrats did that made all parties happen?
2.What was the last good thing that republicans did that made all parties happy?
Could it be that a two party system can not operate in a democrtic republic?
Just like George Washington said?

15. We all knew when he started the so called surge that the report in September would be favorable and the war would go on. They want permanent bases in Iraq and have no intentions of leaving. They are lying now like they lied getting us into this war for oil. They never cared for the Iraqi people's welfare. They are simply in the way the same as the Vietnamese people were years ago. This is imperialism at its worst!
