Bush has announced that he is going to withdraw 30,000 troops from Iraq a year from now -- maybe. That would leave us in the same exact position we were in after the 2006 elections. So, he will have surged, then unsurged. And in the end, he will have done nothing about getting us out of Iraq -- which was his plan all along. He just wanted to run the clock out so he can blame the next president when Iraq inevitably goes down the tubes.
Now, who would be so stupid as to buy into this plan to stay the course, yet again? The Democrats, of course!
New York Times is reporting that Democrats are working on a compromise that gives George Bush exactly what he wants. I explain what the compromise is in the video below. Have you ever seen a group of people so pathetically weak your whole life? And ironically, they are trying to convince Americans that they are strong by agreeing with Bush. It's so miserably stupid.
I wrote about whether the Democrats will give in to this fraud of a proposal here. What do you think -- do the Democrats fold again? And will you have any respect for them if they do?

16. Is THIS all The Young Turds have to offer? "Cave in A Million Times?" And I thought Air America was supposed to give us the "straight news" without embelishment? Soros should demand a refund from these buffoons.

18. Pboyfloyd speaks the truth here.
I pray for just one moment of decisive intelligent though from that great oaf, the body politic. It happened in Poland, Rumania, east Germany. For one brief shining moment the populace looked at their gov'ts with an intelligent gaze and it scared the shit out of their brutal masters.
David S also raises an important point. My first thought when I heard the General and then bush talk about this so-called withdrawal was Kissinger. One of you scholarly types should cut ol' Henry a new asshole. It pains me that the buffoon still commands respect.

19. A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that only 25% of Americans favor an immediate withdrawl of troops.
That shows that only 25% of Americans agree with you Cenk. So, you do not represent the mainstream view.
I saw an author on Jon Stewart's show who believes that America is conservative in terms of foreign and economic policy, and libertarian in terms of social policy.
This poll tends to support that view, at least in terms of foreign policy.
