More like humanity sets the rules in opposition to each other and then laughs and holds themselves above other people as they struggle through.

From 'child sexual abuse' laws to statutory rape laws to monogamy to.... almost anything, society seems to have a habit of trying to limit perfectly normal, non-harmful behaviors or making those behaviors out to 'harm' people by making the harm themselves in other ways and then blaming it on things like pedosexuality, when it is the psychologists and others who cause the 'harm'.
