For the record, I do not condone this video mix. Our director, Jesus Godoy, puts it together. Although, I respect him as the legendary, trailblazing internet TV director that he is, I believe it is his intention to damage to my reputation, week after week. I'm considering suing him.
I am not referring to all of the yelling and screaming I do in this video. I stand firmly behind that. I am referring to words he takes out of context toward the end of the video. As Larry Craig brilliantly put it, "I am not gay, nor have I ever been gay."
Let me quote Senator Craig one more time, "Again, I am not gay."

1. Interesting juxtaposition of the comment about the one-third of Americans who believe that Saddam was personally responsible for 9/11 and the two-thirds of Iraqis who wish Saddam was still around. You clearly believe one-third of Americans, with all the information technology at our disposal, have no idea what's "really" going on (or are simply stupid), but all two-thirds of those Iraqis, with their limited access to information, have total insight and clarity about the current state of affairs.
Blame America First.

2. Stephen is obviously one of those America haters, who loves to make up reality. No way do 2/3 of Iraqis wish they had Saddam back. They surely do not like the violence and unrest they have now but most (outside of the Bathists) are glad he is no longer able to have them butchered and gassed with impunity. Stephen if you hate America so much, why don't you move to one of those wonderful countries you appear to love so much??
Joe at 1:10PM on Sep 14th 2007
3. JOe...when you TRULY love your country, you want her to do RIGHT --- not go around WRONGING and STRONGARMING everybody else! Bush is a "di#K and anyone unable to admit they've been lied to and BIT the bait --- is a moral coward. LOVE YOUR COUNTRY --- bring its young men HOME! Let the Iraqis duke it out!
Marie at 3:24PM on Sep 14th 2007
4. And Joe...maybe YOU should move! At least, don't vote until you get better informed.

5. Cenk:
Klink! Klink! My two cents worth. Klink! O.K., three cents.
To dissent (even vigorously, but not violently) always shows more patriotism and love of country than mere agreement with the status quo (or who is in power). Dissent will always be put forth by people searching for a better way."Yes men" to the establishment will always look vapid. E.G.: In the history of American media no one has ever appeared more brainless than Britney Spears who, when asked about Bush and Iraq, responded, (while chewing gum as if in a classid lock 'n load trailer park)"Uh, yeah, we should support the president."
In this instance, Republicans seem to have cornered the market on comatose drones. Good Dissent is voiced by people using their brains to think of alternatives to injustice, bigotry, poverty, the evironment.
And after all, weren't our original patriots dissenters?

7. Yes folks, it’s true!
The Young Turks just call a third of Americans ignorant!
And that’s not the funny part!
Stick around and one of the bunch they just slammed will try to defend them!

8. Cenk, what a stupid statement. "To dissent always shows more patriotism and love of country .... " So, even if the person who believes that the status quo is the correct thing to be doing is less patriotic that someone who disagrees? So it is not about standing for what you believe in, right or wrong that makes you patriotic, only dissenters can be patriotic, even if their belief is wrong. Boy, you really have your head up your........
