Mo Rocca appears on a bunch of shows, including CBS News Sunday Morning (with the indescribably wonderful Charles Osgood), The Tonight Show on NBC, and NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! He's a sometime judge on Iron Chef and was featured on Telemundo's Amore Descarado. Last year he starred on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His expose "All the President's Pets" was published by Crown in 2004.

1. I HAVE TO AGREE THAT THE MEDIA IS (STILL) BRAINDEAD. YESTERDAY ON THE SITUATION ROOM, ANDERSON COOPER ASKED RUDY GUILIANI ABOUT HIS LACK OF EXPERIENCE ON FORIEGN AFFAIRS. RUDYS ANSWER " I HAVE BEEN TO EUROPE, CHINA AND ASIA MORE TIMES THAN MOST OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES" WHAT HE FAILED TO SAY WAS THAT IT WAS EITHER FOR A VACATION OR A PAID SPEAKING GIG..NOT MEETING WITH FORIEGN DIGNATARIES. COOPER DIDNT ASK IF THAT QUALIFIED AS FORIEGN POLICY EXPERIENCE. COME ON GUYS..WHY DO YOU LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THESE KIND OF HALF-ASSED ANSWERS?

Presentation, vivid imagery, special effects to catch the attention...Next prefill the audience's opinion for them, brainwash and spin-dry the "affective domain" in order to get the same endorphins poppin' that heroin addicts get tickled by drugs and Voila'!!! --Even if real facts are presented later, you can't get thru what is "emotionally" learned and you have th equilance of a religious devotie to the "CAUSE".
Same technique perfected by Uncle Adolph and his cronies, but with the advantage of an instantanious media that has three generations of "learning by entertainment seeking out its own FOO FOO for its fix...GAWD HELP US...
