This guy is unbelievable. From listening to the clips below, you get the clear impression that Bill O'Reilly has never hung out with a black person in his whole life. He keeps getting surprised that they are just like everyone else. Who knew?!

As usual, Media Matters broke this story. Click here for even more details -- it turns out African-Americans don't randomly yell "motherf---er" when ordering their food, either. The surprises never end when you're hanging out with Bill O'Reilly. He's like our generation's Mister Rogers for racists.
Remember the average age of Bill O'Reilly's television audience is 71 years old (the radio show audience might be even older). So, he is basically doing his show at a senior citizen's center for people who grew up during segregation. That's why the fact that black people and white people are the same might come as news to his audience. Maybe he is doing them a service.
We also have to thank Al Sharpton for introducing Bill O'Reilly to black people for the first time in his life. What a hilarious odd couple. I love the idea of Al Sharpton being Bill O'Reilly's first black friend. Bill, there is so much more he can teach you. But this will come as news to you, too -- Sharpton does not necessarily represent the average black man. And did you know they're not all the same? I know, it's so hard to keep up with this crazy, new America where all the races mix. Give it time, you'll get the hang of it.

212. I do not believe he meant to be offensive. I believe that Blacks look for any opportunity to blame the white man for our problems. Bill Cosby taught me that our people have a difficult time accepting the truth. Having said that, Whites need to learn this and Mr. O' Reilly you as well. Everyone in the Black community is not a victim to the hype..yet. Ebonics reflects bad communication skills. Oversize pants are in bad taste. Selling drugs is wrong. It would have been a much more powerful, meaningful statement just to say I had a wonderful dining experience with Mr. Sharpton at Sylvia's. It was a nice establishment. Period. No racial comparison commentary at all. Just a nice evening Whites you can't joke about our plight one minute, and then discriminate over the same things the next. You are right. We have problems, To say we do not have problems within our race would be a lie. But you can't exploit a cancer. You either love it or hate it. Whites cannot apply levity about the same problems that they use to separate. We are the same...that is the whole key and when that is realized whites will understand NONE of it is funny. Either seriously become part of the solution or just shut up. Blacks and Whites both. Mr. O' Reilly was not trying to offend Blacks. In fact, in his world he was complimenting. But what he was also trying to do was throw a little spin of levity toward the racist whites listeners that only would have heard that he ate in a n- word place with those n-words and especially that particular n-word. Just a note....My son-in law is black, my daughter is blond and fair skinned...My son in law works for Centers for Disease Control, he is a black belt in Karate ( discipline) and my daughter is an RN (dedication to helping others) and they own their home as well as their vehicles They have 4 beautiful children ( 3 boys and a girl) that are all Honor Roll students, participate in sports and boy and girl scouts etc,
I have 3 other daughter and if I could clone my son in law to be their husbands I would be honored!
Mr. O'Rriely Wake up and smell the coffee,,,,get your head out of the sand or the past. Honor the achievements of a generation that only seeks success and a peaceful existence.

By playing only 10 seconds of a full discussion you can make anyone sound the way you want them to. To say African Americans have never contributed anything or invented anything is an obvious lie and the person writing such a blog knows he/she is lying and wants to smear African Americans because of personal inadequacy or is extremely ignorant. Also, to say all African Americans are "loud" and imply they're uncouth is a blatant lie as well. O'Reilly has no excuse for his demeaning comments. I'm sure he has been in restaurants attended by African Americans who were not saying "M-Fer" to the wait people or yelling across the restaurant.
