This guy is unbelievable. From listening to the clips below, you get the clear impression that Bill O'Reilly has never hung out with a black person in his whole life. He keeps getting surprised that they are just like everyone else. Who knew?!
Listen to these gems from his radio show where Bill O'Reilly explains black people to white America:
As usual, Media Matters broke this story. Click here for even more details -- it turns out African-Americans don't randomly yell "motherf---er" when ordering their food, either. The surprises never end when you're hanging out with Bill O'Reilly. He's like our generation's Mister Rogers for racists.
Remember the average age of Bill O'Reilly's television audience is 71 years old (the radio show audience might be even older). So, he is basically doing his show at a senior citizen's center for people who grew up during segregation. That's why the fact that black people and white people are the same might come as news to his audience. Maybe he is doing them a service.
We also have to thank Al Sharpton for introducing Bill O'Reilly to black people for the first time in his life. What a hilarious odd couple. I love the idea of Al Sharpton being Bill O'Reilly's first black friend. Bill, there is so much more he can teach you. But this will come as news to you, too -- Sharpton does not necessarily represent the average black man. And did you know they're not all the same? I know, it's so hard to keep up with this crazy, new America where all the races mix. Give it time, you'll get the hang of it.

91. #80 "Dr." Tim Johnson After reading your plethera of spelling and grammatical errors, I'm sure you won't mind if we're skeptical about the "Dr." thing?

John, I seriously hope you're kidding (even though it's not funny). If that's what you honestly believe, I truly pity you and your narrow-minded hate-filled life.
Regarding the Jena 6, if anything was a hate crime, it was the placing of nooses in the tree.

93. I'm thinking Cenk is a little cranky because he's tired of eating Bill O'Reilly's dust. And Bill may be a little condescending, but he's not a racist. Cenk, if you want to play racial police, why don't you rip Jimmy Kimmel and Bill Maher for saying Colin Powell isn't black enough for them?
Since when do white people decide who's black enough and who isn't? Do these big-shot white a-- comedians want to bring back those inglorious days of racial classifications from the 1940's when US government bureaucrats referred to some black people as "quadroons, octaroons and mulatos?". What is that? And how's that stuff any different then Kimmel or Maher's wise-guy racial comments about General Powell?
What about Senator Joe Biden saying you can't go into a convenience store without being able to speak Indian, or saying that Obamma is "clean and articulate" as if most blacks aren't. Or Hillary joking that Ghandi used to run a gas station? Is that stuff OK?
Incidentally, the next black person John Kerry hires in his re-election campaign will be his first. And for all the talk about being the "first black president", Bill Clinton had one use for black women and it had nothing to do with their brains. It's amazing what you can get away with when you're a big-name lefty.

94. [[Work hard by whose standards? How do you get educated when you're in a substandard school system, without access to current tools and supplies? If you're living in this situation, how do you compete with someone who HAS had access to these things?]]
Easily. Dr. Ben Franklin spent all of NINE MONTHS in school his entire life yet most folks seem to think he was well educated. If you can read and have a library card, you can educate yourself. In fact it's often been observed that the people who teach themselves, aka autodidacts, are generally way ahead of the ones who must have a teacher or professor drum information into their heads. Don't have a good library in your neighborhood? Come on, every big city has at least one really good library, and even if you don't want to travel across town you can get anything you need via interlibrary loan. You can also sit and read in university libraries, including medical and law libraries, even if you aren't enrolled there. Heck yes it is possible for a poor person to be just as well educated as a rich person. Where he is at a disadvantage is in formal credentials. It's mindless credentialism that we need to get rid of.

95. First, yes, I am white. I am tired of idiots talking about black person this or that. 99% of those posts were written by, what appeared to be 12 yr olds. My goodness, would you please learn to spell properly when trying to denigrate others.
I take offense to the comment, Ginger I think, in respect to Hispanics. My daughter is Cuban, went to the worst district in the township, was in the MG program, graduated with honors. Chose only 2 colleges, 2 of the best in the country, Tulane and Loyola, accepted at both with scholarships. So many are proving the point Cenk was trying to make. Trying to pretend you aren't racist and understand all races, ethnicities amd cultures and spew vitreol
about other cultures and their supposed indecencys. All Latinos and Hispanics are illegal and are taking the country over and soon we will all be speaking Spanish. You do realize that persons of all ethnicities and races actually are educated, well read, hold positions of authority and are HUMAN BEINGS.
#37, Spoke of being in another country where if his attire was improper and so forth that you would be stoned. By trying to prove his lack of prejuddice, he proved it. He was referring to countries that are majority Muslim. That is not just another country, why not choose France or Ireland? Stoning is in countries that live by Sharia Law, Islamic states. Not all Muslims are Fundamentalists.
#40, Do you know who the true 'Young Turks' are? Thought not. Read a bit of history about Turkey in the early 1900's, learn something new.
We are what we are and we can learn alot from one another. Tolerance.

96. I don't like O'reilly. I've had dealings with him on business that was critical and still is to the lives and welfare of Mentally Ill and developmentally Disabled people and their families who are treated as less than pond scum in Public Community Mental Health Services and Recipients Rights Abuses and neglect in the State of Michigan. There was no response as there never is when dealing with the "non people". He is a self serving ideologue who is only interested in topical issues that meet an agenda. But then again so are the "Young Jerks" who are only and always "Trolling" for something to stir up.

98. Its kind of wierd how he has such biased views on minorities, considering the fact that he grew up in NewYork city and the North East where white people tend to be more equal towards minorities. I think that ORiely must of been bullied by a black person when he was growing up and thats where is rasicm comes from

what's surprising is that these fellows don't acknowledge that bill o'reilly is like a lot of folks in fly-over america who have had little to no experience with black people and, yes--they do have a lot of preconceived notions based on the rap culture and the black americans who keep ending up in the news for negative reasons. the white guy, in aprticualr, is actually MORE offensive than o'reilly. and the black fellow--feels like the other guy's amen corner. it's ironic they are a worse comment on things than o'reilly and THEY don't know it. but like o'reilly--no better no worse, their intentions are in the right place. kudos to both. and it's a pity neither did the harder work of having an intelligent conversation with silvia--or the owners of some black businesses ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS--they would then serve a positive purpose. bringing business--and people together. 101. To the ill informed individuals who continue to imply and promulgate the myth that Genius level people must be able to spell impeccably or that the inability to do so is an indication of paucity of intelligence? I must once again reprise:
It is NOT!!
I have an IQ in the High 100's..close to 200 and I can't spell to save my life nor can I configure in syntax a sentence, very well... in any of three languages.
It indicates only Human imperfection on the part of the individual and on the parts of others who always expect peoples of high capacity by stigma to
perform in all areas above and beyond all expectations perpetually and unceasingly.
It is indicative also that the elevated mind is focused so high above the mundane and trivial that it can't often can't deal or function with efficacy on that level.
This is thoroughly unreasonable and unrealistic to expect from an individual in this circumstance.
Albert Einstein could never find anything on his desk or in his house but for the mess and clutter.

104. yeah, most whites are racist and jealous at the rise in the steadily evolving black thought and financial success. they've tried to hold blacks back soo long, (through slavery, racial Seclusion and bias employment/education)it breaks their hearts to know we are passing their "once great race" by. they'll be extinct by 2157. every other race mates and loves the opposite sex but whites are so Narcissistic and Self absorbed, their women spend more time with their sex toys and their men spend time with other men. it's no wonder why this relic has to inform his white audiance that it's finally ok to shake the colored folks hand without the pointed white hood on thier heads and a "good white christian" cross burning in their yards. maybe now we colored folks can get jobs!! - oh wait we're doing better without 'em.
