I grew up in Las Vegas and watched every casino demolition live throughout the 90's. I bet you many Las Vegans knew right away that there was something funny about the way those buildings fell. It looked exactly like every controlled high rise demolition we had seen over the past 10 years.

Do your research, and then come and tell me what other building in history has ever fallen like that after being hit by a JUMBO AIRLINER. You will soon find that there is no case in history that even slightly resembles the dynamics of how those towers fell. CAREFULLY PLANNED AND PLACED EXPLOSIVES are the only way to cause a building to fall the way those two towers came down. This is not conspiracy or liberal propaganda. IT IS SIMPLY THE LAWS OF PHYSICS.

Mrs., please do not encourage K. He/she is part of a network that are convinced that Bush and the neocons were behind the 9/11 attacks.

The images of the WTC towers do seem similar to images of controlled demolitions. However, look at videos of controlled demolitions. The buildings begin their collapse at the level where the explosives were set off. If the explosives were on the 3rd floor, then, the building began to collapse at the 3rd floor.

Looking at the videos of the WTC, it is clear that the collapse initiated at the floors where the planes impacted, which means the explosives had to be at the floors where the planes impacted. Not many floors below as the “anti-government” conspiracy theorists claim.

Which means one of two things:
1) Either the explosives were in place prior to the impact and the pilots had to be extremely skilled to fly the planes into the towers at those specific floors, or
2) The explosives were placed AFTER impact.

Actually, #2 is not unreasonable. It is very possible that “suicide bombers” went into the building, disguised as emergency responders, climbed up to the appropriate floors and set off their bombs, hence, completing the destruction.

The problem is: Even Osama bin Laden did not expect the tower to collapse.
So, the whole theory behind explosives causing the towers to collapse has too many holes.

Some of these “anti-government” conspiracy theorists will argue that the burning fuel could not have caused the collapse of a steel and concrete building. They claim that the laws of physics make it impossible.
Their logic is this: jet fuel burns at 650 deg F while steel melts at 3000 deg F
Therefore, the fuel could not have caused the steel and concrete to collapse, so there had to be something else. (If fire could not harm the steel, why was the steel coated in heat resistant material?)

However, the theorsist fail to consider:
- the impact of the planes (hundreds of tons of metal and fuel) weakened the building.
- other materials in the building (furniture, paper, carpeting) burn at hotter temperatures
- steel loses half its strength at 650 deg F
- steel expands about 0.03% at 650 deg F (i.e., a 20 foot beam of steel will expand approximately ¾”, enough to snap a bolt stressed by the heat and impact.

One last “Ah-ha”. If their claim is correct, then why did the interstate overpass in Oakland CA collapse in April after a fuel truck flipped and caught fire? There was no impact, but, the fire clearly caused the “steel and concrete” structure to collapse. True – gasoline burns hotter than jet fuel (~1500 deg F), but that is still much lower than 3000 deg F. In summary, if their argument is correct, then, the laws of physics were defied in Oakland, so why not in NYC?

14. Really there are two different sets of ideas about the complicity of the PNACERS in the Bush administration. One is the MADE IT HAPPEN group with all of the Thermite and faked video, missile hole in the pentagon, where is the rest of the plane from flight 93, and what about building 7. The other is the LET IT HAPPEN, which has much more plausibility. The august 6th PDB and all of the warnings from Jack Oneil to all of the other FBI and CIA people that were dismissed before 911, to the connections between the Bush family and the Bin laden Family, as well as the Saudi's through Carlyle and the Statements made in the PNAC documents about NEEDING A NEW PEARL HARBOR so as to get the public behind their wish for "multiple wars on multiple fronts" in their screed "Rebuilding America's Defenses". It is all of these things that cause people to be skeptical of the OFFICAL version of 911 as presented by the Aborted and curtailed version of the 911 investigation.

15. After reading the original story, I'm sad to say that I don't believe that Ms Head was anywhere near the Twin Towers that fateful day. Anyone can have burn injuries, I do on both arms from a kitchen accident. IF her story was real, wouldn't she devulge, when asked, the identity of the man who "gave her his wedding ring". IF she was there she may have been tramatized at first, but by now be able to give more details. No one in her story from employers to the fiance's family ever heard of her and later she admitted that Dave was a "fantasy". I think, it's IMO, that her entire store is a large crock of BS which is totally unfair to those who are the TRUE survivors. Where is the proof that she helped in LA or after the Tsumais? I DO believe she has an awfully vivid imagination. Was she noy paid for any of these talks she gave to groups? She ran this organization from her home. I'd bet money that somehow she pfilfered funds. We shouldn't accuse without facts, but IMO, after reading the original story in the NY Times, Ms Head needs some serious mental health care and it has nothing to do with her being anywhere near the Twin Towers on 9-11-01. My sincerest prayers conyinue for the TRUE survivors and the families of the perished. My daughter worked VERY close to the Pentagon and saw that happen from her window at work. She was evacuated. My concern was her safety, and although she has nightmares on occasion, she's fine. As far as those saying that 9-11 was an "inside job", shame on you!! TOO many people know better and I pray also for the so many First Responders who lost their lives that day. My cousin was to be on Flight 93 but called to change his flight the night before to Thursday instead as he caught the flu. Simple as that is, that CAN be verified. I just thank God he had that flu, else we'd have lost him. Ms Head, again, needs some serious mental health services, and I hope that they are looking with as much scrutany as possible for any missing funds belonging to the TRUE survivors of THE worst tragedy to hit our country. I have 2 children who serve in the US Navy and serve proudly. We're a VERY Patriotic family with the deepest love possible for our precious country. Please do not let this woman give the true survivors who live their lives in pain daily, either physically, emotionally, or both, make a laughing stock or make light of these precious peoples' pain. That's so much like a huge slap in the face. The businesses don't know her, nor do the colleges she said she attended. Offering that dear fireman's family a plague with a piece of her garment since it was "one of the last things he touched" and you know her story is BS - what a huge slap in the face to the still grieving family of a TRUE hero among the many of 9-11. This lady needs serious help and I pray that she gets it and IF some way she did take any money at all however well covered up and.or hidden, I pray it comes ouot as it is especially more important now after touching so many surivors, the families, and the public with her on-going fantasy which will in the end be exposed to be as big a fantasyas "Dave" turned out to be. God bless the TRUE survivors and the damilies of the TRULY lost and may Ms Head be dealt with as sh mst be, worst though if she did take as much as five cents from that Organization.
