2. Okay I can say I agree with you on this one.... if we could somehow convince Iran to embrace American capitalism and goods, their radically Islamist state would crumble. Capitalism is economic heroin. Look what happened when Gorbachev introduced perestroika. The USSR had a little economic freedom and got hooked. 5 years later the communist state ceased to exist.

Free trade and globalization is really the best way to bring democracy to all corners of the world. War might work from time to time, but it's too risky.

3. I just knew that lizard and ray would be more comfortable in Iran than the United States. But maybe I'm being hasty. The Christian right allows for extenuating circumstances too. It's okay to be other than a strict heterosexual if one is a prominent republican or religious nutjob. 4. I was at NAS Meridian Mississippi in 1976 for training. We had two Iranian navy guys there training as well. They both wore LIPSTICK and held hands everywhere they went (they also loved soccer) We were told to leave them alone and not even talk to them. One of my Senior Chiefs, his brother was a defense contractor in Iran. They were building barracks and other facilities for the Iranian Navy. He got in a shipment of urinals for the heads in the barracks, and told his Iranian workers to install them. When he came in the next day, they were all installed at eye level! When he asked his crew, "what the hell is this?", they answered "Are they not for washing ones face?" True story, all of it.

9. It's not a new idea. Bush Sr. and Clinton both toyed with the idea of smothering Iran in capitalism and freedom. The former didn't do it as the hostage crisis was still too fresh to allow negotiations, and the later... well I honestly don't know. Regardless, it's an old nut: show them all the freedom they could ever want and they will magically become our friends.

Problem is that capitalism isn't a panacea. Case in point: Russia. Sure, Starbucks opened their first shop in Moscow, but rapid and rampant capitalization has led to widespread corruption (of the non-state organized variety) which has in turn lead to Putin calling to stricter and stricter laws against freedom. China also took the capitalism route (though in China they're 'entrepenures' and not 'capitalists'. PC in Chinese.) and while it has allowed greater and greater economic freedom, China has continuously curtailed human rights and democratic movements. In Sudan, capitalism from oil sales funds genocide in Darfur, and capitalism has done little to tame the middle east.

The reason is simple... people mistake economic principle for political principle. You can have a liberal and democratic capitalistic nation... you can have a liberal and democratic socialist nation... it's called Sweeden folks... You can just as easily have a repressive / autocratic / totalitarian capitalist society as you can have one that is communist.

So while I agree that freedom is good, I don't see McDonalds making it happen in Iran.

052.020 They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks; and We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes.
052.021 And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds.
052.022 And We shall bestow on them, of fruit and meat, anything they shall desire.
052.023 They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill.
052.024 Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded.
052.025 They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry.
052.026 They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people.
052.027 "But Allah has been good to us, and has delivered us from the Penalty of the Scorching Wind.

Here is another sample of Qur’anic ‘boys’ in paradise:

076.017 And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,-
076.018 A fountain there, called Salsabil.
076.019 And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.
076.020 And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent.
There are many more teachings of the Koran that promise the company of ‘beautiful’ ‘pearl’ like boys used as a baits to convert the sex hungry Bedouin Arabs to Islam.

We often hear from the Islamic apologists saying that those ‘boys’ are simply the server of wine and not for sex. What a great hypocrisy it is! Why did not Allah engage exquisitely beautiful ‘Hurs’ to serve the wine? Why Allah has to resort to ‘pearl’ like beautiful boys/youths? As it was the practice of those days, why not let the black ‘habshi’ slaves be the server of wine? The truth is that many Arabs of those days were fond of sexual molestation of children that included both girls and boys. We find plenty of examples of this type of abuse in the child brides of many of the holy men of Islam including the Prophet himself. What is not apparent is that, this sexual abuse was also common with beautiful boys too. These perverted sexual practices were added by Allah as pleasure for Muslim men’s eternal life in paradise. Thus, this kind of sexual molestation became a great temptation for the Jihadis to join Muhammad’s wars and to die for the taste of his promised lustful paradise.

But of course no such despicable, immoral, sexually perverted evil Paradise exists. This Paradise was created by the sexually perverted Muhammad and blasphemes and is a very great sin against God himself.

This Paradise would be laughable if it wasn’t so tragic. Millions of people have been murdered by Muslims who “ slay and are slain” as per Koran teaching 9:111 so they can ascend to this evil Paradise and sexually molest for all eternity young boys and virgins called Hurs – creatures specially created by God – who regenerate as virgins after each sex act and Muslim men granted eternal hard ons by God.

The above Kornic teachings of Paradise are the Laws of God.

Islam is so insane that no rational, normal, person can believe in Islam.

Muslims can own slaves as a LAW OF GOD. Slavery has been an integral institutionalized part of Islam since it’s creation by Muhammad. Muhammad owned 40 slaves. ALL THIS EVIL ARE THE LAWS OF GOD AS SET DOWN IN THE KORAN. Not only that but righteous Muslims who slay and are slain in the service of God can ascend as martyrs to the evil sexually depraved Islamic Paradise of eternal hard - ons and virgins who re - generate as virgins after each sex act.
