This Atheism documentary is nothing like Dawkins' Root of all Evil. Basically it's an unbiased presentation from a skeptical host who speaks with Sam Harris. Harris shares a few mind blowing facts about religion, and also speaks to Iraq veteran turned Atheist rapper, Greydon Square, who promotes free thought through his music.
Either way, it's safe to say that the Atheists are all godless loons who are all going to Hell. I pray to FSM that they will see the light and join the "right" religion.

17. To Clint So what you are saying is, you will not kick his butt and not take his things because of what you read in a book?? Thats a poor excuse for a Christian. Kris had one thing right."militant Chtistians are just as bad as militant Islam ect" I belive in God, The God of Love not hate. All religions have had there time, killing millions in the name of God. I pitty them all.

18. I am an atheist who finds it amusing that religious people find fault in everyone who does not believe in the same things. If God does exist, why would he allow His family (priests, bishops, cardinals and nuns) to molest innocent children? What kind of God is that?! Or is it only Catholics are demented? If you want to believe in Jesus or God...be my guest, but stop putting down other people. Peace be with you.

19. clint,
did you actually post a challenge to name ONE thing that a would be considered a hateful or violent crime by a christian?
thats a joke right?
ok clint..
past or present?
you can choose either/or,
but i will tell you this much clint.
it will be a lengthy response.
if you knew anything about the semitic triad's history,or followed the last thirty years of the rise of christian fundamentalism, you would not have posted such a ridiculous challenge.
and lest we forget sayyid qutb, the founding father of the muslim brotherhood, who's organization birthed a plethora of islamic fundamentalist groups.
on another note,
i have never met a true atheist,
however,i have met many agnostic's who come to me with questions.
i dont see how someones lack of belief in a creator should offend or frighten anybody.
they threaten nobody, harm no-one,and un-like certain religions, they wont come to your door at 8am saturday to ask if your have been saved.
its a silly thing to become upset about.
till next time..peace.

20. Eh, Kidwell is a troll who got the fundies reading this article in a twist.
And as far as religion goes - it's too much of a nuisance. Too much violence, judgement and hatred goes on in the name of "God" and people's perception of what that word means.
It would be nice if people were just a bunch of secular humanists who worked together for a common good, but people are always looking for the "great reward". Here's a hint - the great reward is the fact that you're walking on the Earth, everyday. So stop destroying it and acting like idiots. What *if* your precious "eternal reward" turns out not to exist.
That would suck for you, wouldn't it?
Go good deeds for now, not for what happens after you're DEAD.

21. OahuSurf has all the answers everybody!!!!!!
He's the one that mankind's been waiting for to stop the wars and sickness and death and pain and save the Earth and bring back our loved ones from death and answer all the eternal questions.......
AT LEAST HE SEEMS TO THINK SO
as do most Pseudo Atheists....In their own wise eyes........

22. Belief and faith in God is derived from the heart and not the mind.
Atheists are those who look to their mind for the belief and faith, and cannot find it because it doesn't make sense.
The heart is the source of faith. My mind says it's intangible, so maybe it's not there. The mind thinks that only that which it sees and understands, is all that exists.
The heart knows that existence of "other" goes beyond our mind and senses.
I went through the "I don't think so" phase, and Jesus whispered, :believe with your heart and not your mind"
We all know the heart is sincere.

23. Well. This is interesting. I believe in the bible and that there is a true God. The one point I'm going to make is that if I'm right in my belief I will have an eternal reward when I die that God has promised me. If I'm wrong I have lost nothing. When an Atheist dies if he is right he has gained nothing. If he is wrong, he has lossed everything. It's a matter of simple mathematics. But thats not why I believe in God. I believe in him because he can bring you contentment and satisfaction like you've never known. because he is a friend that's closer than a brother and will love you no matter what you have done. Even if you don't love him back.

24. Chris Kidwell, You would burn every book that mentions anything about God, hmmm sounds like the same thing Elton John said a few months ago, how big of an ego a person like you must have to even consider stating a demonic foolish stupid statement like that, obviously you think your a God yourself, and you want to support sex with litttle children your are the most evil people I can ever imagine, at what age did your mom drop you on your head when you were little? I have a close friend who was kidnapped by 4 men and then brutaly raped with a butter knife, if you think you will get away with comments like that, you will not, I can promise you that in a short time you are going to be stricken with a horrible sickness, thus sayeth the Lord and you better aknowledge that its becuase of your evil that you will be sick and you will know there is a God!! The Lord has promised vengeance and justice for all of his innocent children who have been attcked by evil demonic people as you!!! You will not get away with this thats a fact and promise thus sayeth the Lord the Master Avenger!!!

25. To pbarrett,
God does not control the will and the actions of people.
If he did, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
He gives each of us personal will. He expects that our nature is to sin. There is NO ONE whose righteousness matches that of Jesus Christ.
That is why you should never expect a priest or pastor or anyone for that matter to be pure and free of sin.
We all sin. It's too bad, but that is how it is. God does not control that.
When someone preaches to me (even a preacher or priest), I know he/she is a sinner, too.
No one is better than someone else. God doesn't hate you because you don't believe in him.........yet. And yes, I know that to be true.

So I guess you believe "just in case"? That's what I call After-Life Insurance.

28. #20 Patti, Plenty of Rabbi pedophiles and religious leaders other than Catholic. You just won't hear about it in the mainstream media. Do a google search, and go get a couple dozen Snickers bars...

29. Christopher Kidwell, I do not care what religion, or the choice of rejection of all religions or middle of the road, I do take exception to Fundamentalism of any sort and pedophilia. Maybe in your somewhat confused state you actually believe in a justification of making a demented comment with regards to pedophilia. Justify, please.
Any person that decides to denigrate, become angry towards, disqualify, illegitamize others for their belief system or the choice to not believe is a truly virulent. This hatred due to beliefs has become a pandemic pitting brother against brother. It has reached the pandemic stage now, beginning in the US post 9/11, in other parts of the world earlier.
The harder an Atheist, Christian, Jew tries to justify what is the one an donle, the tried and true because of, after that you all sound the same. One more malicious by the minute than the other.
Someone in an earlier post spoke of Sayyid Qutb, and the Islamic Fundamentalists, bin-Ladens and the al-Qaedas were taught his own twisted version of Jihad. Not actually what Jihad means. People believe whatever allows them a reason to continue their depracating treatment of others unlike themselves.
If any of the religions or atheists or agnostics could contribute in some form to end what is happening in OUR world, now, would that in any way affect who you are? I believe you would become more reasonable, tolerant, communicate with a more peaceful use of verbiage and actually allow people to become human, not humane, HUMAN, once again.
Believe what you will, I won't step in your way, hate you or try to change your mind, become as respectful and act in kind.
Clint, though, Christians, at least majority Christians, have murdered between 650,000 to 1.2 million Muslim's, so learn before you speak. All religions have murdered throughout history, not a one is innocent. Although you are a man, research presents to us the more fundamentally Christian a Woman is the lower and lower her education level is. I have noticed that just by reading these blogs.

30. Jesus Freak, please don't tell me that you love me too. I don't want your Christian love.
Kris (#7) Good point. Well stated. However, until the fundamentalist christians give up their lunacy, at least to point of leaving the rest of us alone, I'lll continue to be confrontational.
