This Atheism documentary is nothing like Dawkins' Root of all Evil. Basically it's an unbiased presentation from a skeptical host who speaks with Sam Harris. Harris shares a few mind blowing facts about religion, and also speaks to Iraq veteran turned Atheist rapper, Greydon Square, who promotes free thought through his music.
Either way, it's safe to say that the Atheists are all godless loons who are all going to Hell. I pray to FSM that they will see the light and join the "right" religion.

31. atheists make a lot of valid points, but their argument really does collape under 'believing' that there is no god. they can disprove every religion that has ever existed, but it gets us no closer to the real question that none of us can or ever will be able to answer: what the hell happens to us after we die? no matter what, it all comes down to belief, because once we die, we can't tell anyone. all the scripture and science combined doesn't mean shit until you experience it for yourself. I ask myself these questions to try and find a logical answer: Did god create us, or did we create god? If we created god, does that mean it doesn't exist? If god does exist as a creation by our consiousness, does it needs us as much as we need it? Is god evolving and learning as we are about our own nature? Is god a slave to TIME as we are? It goes on and on....what I find, of course, is I HAVE NO IDEA, and I'm just rambling on an AOL blog. Then I realize that it's all about the question, and there probably are no straight answers. But the questions create the possibilites. And if the questions do not directly contradict the observable world around me, an answer may surface, but not without a whole new set of questions. Then I think well, maybe it's all about the combination of infinity and time that we all need to wrap our brains around because we are the only organisms on the planet that can, and then my head explodes............

If you want proof look at evolution, what do you have to show me to prove god........NOTHING. I have no problem with people who belive, if it gives you security good for you but i hate the fact when someone tries to talk god to me and i say i do not belive they try to make me belive...... 33. Very funny, "fsm", hilarious. You seem to acknowledge Dawkins' evangelism as being overwrought, yet you think that the deep love that faith can inspire, and the struggle of such a walk in the times we live is worthy of mockery.
In Western Europe, only about a quarter of the population professes any belief. Perhaps this fact can be connected to the lack of a replacement population in such cases. At any rate, I thank God for having set the roots of faith deep here, that we have not become so secular. It's a blessing. I understand some of what causes incredulousness among skeptics: YEC, biblical literalism, bigotry, among some. But belief is not laughable. It is a personal, and (should be) humble response to what one has been shown. It is a blessing. Life is not random. Yet God cant be quantified or proved. If He could, it wouldn't be faith, but merely acceptance, as one accepts the result of an equation. Such an acceptance would not require humilty, and not be a moral act of free will. I suggest that you have yourself Jeff. No one's life is all good, yet you probably have been blessed materially, and by the people in your life. You SHOULD pray in thanksgiving, and not mock those who do, or by extension, the One from whom all blessings flow. Obviously at this point, you are not impressed by this attitude. Yet if matters of right and wrong concern you (I imagine they do), you should have a care about your tone.

34. Religious people are starting to feel the heat of rationality. So they fight back with half backed documentatries.
But the civilized world is moving towards atheism. Britain is now 40% atheist. In France churches are being turned into community centers.
In the USA we still have a very large segement of our society that is fairly uneducated, just high school diplomas, and watered down ones at that.
Once Americans educational level starts to match those of other countries, atheism will soar.

35. Just a question for atheists.
I know that if ever I were in a sudden distraught state of mind (such as an impending serious car accident, or if I were in a room with a bomber), I would probably use the phrase silently--"oh my God!..." just as second nature. I even think that maybe he would impact the situation.
What would you say at a very unexpected sudden distressing moment? and what do you think?

36. Its funny how people claiming to be Christians can judge someone so harshly and insult them and tell them that they are going to burn in hell without even trying to help or understand. Get your head out of your but and realize that no one is 100% correct or 100% wrong; everyone has a right to form their own opinions, instead of borrowing one from a book.
And as for people who say that there would be no morality if it weren't for the "bible", think again. Right is right, wrong is wrong. The "bible" doesn't tell me what right or wrong, it's a given. People in third world nations who have never heard of "Jesus", "God", or the "bible" still have rules, laws, and morals. Get over it.
I grew up Christian, and now I'm Agnostic. It's my choice, I don't blame others for believing something else, I encourage it. No one knows for sure what’s beyond this existence. All the animosity between religions is ridiculous.
But that’s just my opinion.

It's satisfying. Try it sometime. And if you say "Oh My God" isn't that breaking a commandment or something?
I might say "Oh My God!" or "Oh Krishna!" or "Osiris save me!" and I can say any of those, and others, if I feel like it. It's liberating. As is atheism.
