1. Funny clip, and true as anything...... Time to leave the sinking ship and allow as many of the Iraqi people to come out with us as possible.

2. At least Iceland had more staying power than liberals.
Imagine an American political party that needs American defeat to prosper ... then vote accordingly.
Thomas J Gassett at 2:17AM on Oct 11th 2007
3. The Left will love the 16pt. headline "Iceland Quits Coalilition". and then one troop mentioned in 4pt. type if at all.

4. I don't think you retards understand how poorly this president has managed this war of choice and how much he has manipulated your little brains with his fear mongering.
Again if you are soooo enamored of this war there are ways you can help. Join the army. Join any of the services. Go to work for any company that does business over there. Drive an unamored car or truck. Just do it.
Even Britain is down to just 2500 soldiers.
Stewart is right about this. Bush is just keeping it open until the next president shuts it down just so it won't be "on his watch." what an idiot.
RMWiersema at 8:05AM on Oct 11th 2007
5. Well Thomas Gassett and Ushipwehaul you both are free to sign up to go to Iraq at any time - you and your conservative friends and family. I am sure there is a military recruiting station somewhere near you.
Run, don't walk...

7. Imagine idiots who think killing innocent people proves were strong and brave. That's why American is now the most dispised nation on earth. You idiots seem to have forgotten that Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9-11. Every death there is murder by international law. You right wingers are the murders and terrorists, not them.
Robert Tice at 1:09PM on Oct 11th 2007
8. I like how Robert Tice is so blinded by his hatred for conservatism that he is willing to overlook the fact that Iraqis and other Islamic terrorists (yes, that's right, they're the terrorists) in Iraq are blowing up, shooting, and kidnapping civilians. Dang, you stupid people need a dictionary. I'm not saying that invading Iraq was right, but is it terrorism? Hardly. Anyone who says differently has their head stuck in an orifice which shall remain unnamed.

9. it's amusing to read of the president mishanding of the war in iraqi with all the waffling and jumping ship going on this election year. the liberals have successful once again muddy the water and misled the public in bizzard of propaganda of defeatism and president smashing, when the smoke clears and they have they're turn at the presidency, all they're pie in the sky ideas concern iraqi fall short they will naturally blame bush handing of the war for it.
jerry richardson at 2:06PM on Oct 11th 2007
10. Wow... can we for just a moment stop calling each other names. We all sound like a bunch of dumb kids. "You're stupid..... No, you are...!!!" The Righties are dumb, the lefties are evil, the right wing nut jobs have their heads up thier asses!!! the Liberals are cut and runners!!!
How am I doing so far....??? Sounds pretty childish doesn't it??? Whom ever you are and what ever the point is that you are trying to make, well, you are really not helping it. That's only my opinion.
Now, having said all of that, I do agree with this (but, without the insults). Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. No matter what this president wants us to believe. This war is wrong and it was based on nothing but lies. The man who is in the white house was supoused to be a uniter and bring back "Dignity???". Well, in my opinion the "Decider" has turned out to be nothing but a divider!! Look at us for goodness sake, we are all filled with rage, and anger and hate!! We have lost sight of what we are, who we are... Thank's George.
If we are against this war, we are cut and runners?? we are communist, Un-Americans, we are on the side of the terrorist??? What kind of insanity is this??? Who in their right minds thinks this way??? If we disagree with this president and his policies and we speak out against it, we are not supporting the troops, we want to loose the war??? Again, who thinks this way?? Who WANTS some of you to think this way??? How hateful and insane is this??
I must say, I do agree with the individuals that have stated the following. If you belive so much in this war and the mission (what ever that is), and you want to show your support to the president, then sign up, volunteer to go to Iraq. Or volunteer your children, your spouse. Go and fight, our troops need the man power. Especially now with other countries living.
Who starts a war and does not ask the country to make certain sacrifices??? Who cuts taxes during a war??? But, continues to borrow money from China???
Sticking a bumper sticker in the back of your car, does not make you a troop supporter, while speaking out against the war does not make you a troop hater, or whatever.
So, if you don't want to go and fight the war, then make sacrifices here at home. Let's suggest...no let's demand that the president raise taxes (oopss... dirty word!!!) I mean start a war fund where every single family in the United Staes of America will pay a certain amount on a monthly basis. Let's just take a page out of Bush's book and make something up. So, let's say hypothetically that we are each going to pay on a monthly basis accoring to our income, so something like from $100 to $400 per family, we would all be responsible for this except families in the military. In addition, we should be required to pay a small amount that would go to fund the health care and rehab that all our very brave soliders will need when they come back with missing limbs, disabled, and with emotional problems. So, instead of waiting time insulting each other why not put our heads together and try to find a solution?? Goodness know this man is not doing it. He only listens to Generals that tell him what he has instructed them to say. Otherwise they are no longer the Generals in charge.
So, we all have some choices to make. I hate this war, I think it's wrong!!! So I'm willing to support our troops by making sure I pay my fair share. For those of you that do believe in this war, well show your support.... signed up and go to Iraq. Show the rest of us just how brave you are. So how about we all put our money or our bodies where our mouths are??? Who's in???

11. #10 "Who in their right minds thinks this way???"
A few million of us who went thru this crap about
35 years ago. The politicians and public were all
for until parts of the public were sold a bill of goods that it was not really or business, it was just a civil war, everybody hates us because of our involvement, nobody likes us anymore. Sound familiar, sound current? It is the same line used
over 35 years ago. There are those who have been taught to dislike even hate what this country stands for by some turkey who had a political agenda in the class room. At least those who felt like that in the 1930's went off to Spain to help.

Honestly, I am not being sarcastic! I truly do need help making sence out of this message, I'm not sure what it means.
Thank you

13. Support Our Wounded
While Americans debate the War in Iraq – many times more bitterly than intellectually – we have forgotten our wounded men and women who are recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and other military hospitals around the Country.
Every week plane loads of seriously wounded military arrive in the United States for medical treatment and recovery – often staying over a year in a hospital. They arrive with few, if any, of their personal possessions. Many are amputees who make the hospital their home-away-from-home while learning to move forward with their lives with the aid of outstanding medical, physical therapy and occupational therapy staffs.
In 2003, the Angels of Mercy Program was founded to help these wounded men and women and their families. In 2004, Newman’s-Own named the Angels the best volunteer program in American supporting our military. The Program provides clothing suitable for rehabilitation, comfort items, and a broad range of support for young family members who have uprooted their lives to be with their loved ones at the hospital. We need help to keep this non-political, all volunteer program going. Our total effort is on helping those who have given so much, and letting them know their Country cares about their sacrifices.
The web site www.SupportOurWounded.org contains many background details, and suggests ways Americans can help. The Angels of Mercy Program can also be reached by phone: 703-938-8930. Our wounded need your help.

14. I don't think you retards understand how poorly this president has managed this war of choice and how much he has manipulated your little brains with his fear mongering.>>>
We hear these same words from every liberal drone that can type. It makes one wonder which little brain has been manipulated?
Again if you are soooo enamored of this war there are ways you can help. Join the army. Join any of the services. Go to work for any company that does business over there. Drive an unamored car or truck. Just do it.>>>
Just whom do you cretins think is fighting this war ... a bunch of limp wristed Lefty Marines? Think again. Our military voted for Bush over Kerry by 62 points.
Those of us that have been around this world understand that this isn't Bush's war, and that losing will cost us all. Seriously, only a liberal could grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.
Even Britain is down to just 2500 soldiers.>>
Britain has over 500 troops in country. That number will decrease over the next year to 2500.
There is nothing so horrible as the murder of a beautiful theory ... by a brutal gang of facts.
Stewart is right about this. Bush is just keeping it open until the next president shuts it down just so it won't be "on his watch." what an idiot.>>
The idiot is the one that believes the next president will 'shut it down'. That's why you couldn't get any of the big three democrats running for president to say they would have all the troops out at the end of their first term. Do try and keep up.

15. 5. Well Thomas Gassett and Ushipwehaul you both are free to sign up to go to Iraq at any time - you and your conservative friends and family. I am sure there is a military recruiting station somewhere near you.
Run, don't walk...
Do you think they would take a 52 year old? Do you imagine everyone that supports this war is of fighting age? Do you imagine only those that can sign up and fight should have a voice? Just what is the point ... other than the one on the top of your head?
In the world before 911 President Clinton saw the danger of Iraq and made regime change American history. Note the date, as Bush was the govenor of Texas.
"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." -- Bill Clinton in 1998
When President Clinton bombed a factory in Sudan, he said. "The factory was built by Bin Laden." This is a known fact. The president went on to say that Bin Laden was making WMD for ... say it with me ... SADDAM. Note: This is the only operational link ever made between Saddam and Al Qeada.
IN the world after 911 NO US president be he democrat or republican would have tollerated a mass murderer that had USED WMD, had ties to terrorist, and called for the destruction of the Great Satan (us) daily.
Please explain for the first time how only Bush lied us into war and manipulated intellegence? How Bin Laden had no ties to Iraq and how everyone knows it. Trot out all the allegations (lies) and let the occasional open mind on these boards decide who is manipulating the truth.
