Now the Nobel Committee has done its part, awarding Gore the Peace Prize for being "probably the single individual who has done most to create greater worldwide understanding of the measures that need to be adopted" to combat climate change, according to his citation.Freshly uploaded AP News Video.
The world's climate experts have long been making some very dire predictions about Global Warming. Because they are predictions, they rely very heavily on computer models.How about a Fresh New York Times Advert.
Many people-- especially conservatives-- warned about this. They pointed out that models are prone to many errors, and the scientific consensus is not always right. Other people chose to rely on the scientific consensus. Honesty compels me to admit that I was in this group. We didn't think think the consensus was the last word, but we did believe it was the best window to the future a non-specialist could look through.
So this part really hurts me to write. But I have to.
The data testing key parts of the global warming consensus are now available. The consensus of climate experts were wrong. Absolutely, verifiably wrong. The computer models were wrong. They simply do not match reality....Read More...

3. "Ozone man" has been vindicated. Too bad it is too late. What political "leadership" on both sides of the political aisle are hiding from is the fact that the world is rapidly running out of oil. If all of the "alternative" energy sources were fully functioning right now, they still would not offset our reliance on oil.
Politicians don't get elected by telling people things they don't want to hear.
