Now that Al Gore has hooked up with Alfred Nobel, everyone wants to know: Is he or isn't he ... planning to run for President? Nobel's given him a bump. You can see it in the polls. You can see it when you look at him. A.Go's cheeks are rosy and his tummy is bulging. (Good thing he lost the beard. That would be way too freaky.)
So why the silence? Is he waiting to tell his family? Is he stressing over which friend to tell first? (He should just take them out to lunch and announce it to all of them at once.) Or has he been too busy vomiting?
The chatter is only getting louder. Come on, Al, tell us. There's a massive baby shower waiting to happen. (Note to attendees: No gifts over $2300.)
Vote below - then read why Al Gore is not just another Rita Moreno.

Yesterday I took a vow of silence in the face of what Bill Maher calls
IDIOCRACY. But it's not an easy task.

18. Hey, SaM, There are apostrophes in contractions, i.e. isn(')t, and can(')t, as in you, you half-witted moron, can NOT spell. And it is a "sitting" Democratic congress. An election is lost, not "lose", as in your mind is "lost" and lose is very close to "loser", i.e SaM. I get a real charge out of people like you who are so obviously deranged and stupid. My old pappy used to say people like you just need a good k___ing. I've seen him shoot rabid dogs that had more sense than you. Crawl back under your rock, slimeball.

19. Sue I want to vote for an abortion on demand, cut defense, higher taxes, socialized government controlled health care, open borders, give the terriorists their day in our legal system democrat...lets see, we have hillary...obama...edwards...AND NOW THE GORE MAN has won a prize that gives him as much experience as Hillary! Arent we the lucky, lucky little liberals, so many 60's thinking candidates to choose from! Oh, how I long for the days of my youth, sex, drugs, live and let live!! cum by ya...

20. I voted for him once, but when i saw his undignified way of accepting a lose i was embarrassed to say i did. I watched as he lost his mind (He actually took credit for inventing the internet!), gained gerth the size of an ape, grew a gotee and went to some left wing college to espouse his hatefulness. why would anyone want him to be in the race for a Peace prize for a film he made about global warming? Whats that about? He let me down when i believed in him once. i wont waste my vote again.

21. Rick you certainly are an angry, little man. As a matter of fact lose is used correctly in the sentence, as used by the poster you took your smug hatefulness out on. Get some fresh air!

22. Al Gore is really an amazing person. He invented the internet and global warming.

23. Eeeeesy now folks! Geez guys! Some of us come on here to get away from the everyday stress and fights we have in our lives. So what if someone's got bad grammar? Seriously ya'll (is that a good or bad phrase to use Rick?) go drink your cup of coffee that you forgot to get, and take a chill pill! It's a blog, and entertaining and informative one. Lets not fight with each other. There's enough of that going on in the Middle East.-Arizona Hillbilly

24. Mo, dear-
I think you must have gotten on some conservative watch-group list or something. These people don't seem to be able to put a decent sentence together. Blogger fraud! I demand a recount.

25. Mr. Mundy you spend to much time on the hate filled moveon.org website. Take a chill pill man, get over yourself and enjoy the meaning of a post instead of picking it apart like an English teacher would, this isnt a test. Oh, by the way, you got it wrong. Using the word lose as in "to concede to lose" "to lose out" "to suffer a loss" was indeed the appropriate usage in the sentence. To use your words who is the half witted and stupid slimeball?

26. To receive the Nobel Prize in any category is simply amazing. I have a new level respect for the former Vice-President.

27. Sorry about the 69 stuff earlier... I was meditating on world peace!
Ah, the yin and the yang of partisan politics.
People are still so embittered by the 2000 election. I know it left a bad taste in my mouth for a while (ok, 7 years and counting). It really left this country more divided than ever, but it's over people. Gore is not going to run again.
We must move on... I know it is tough with all the same players, the Bush's, the Clinton's, and the Gore's still running around the political track.
Still we must try to reunite as a country.. if not for world peace or to save our planet from global warming, then at least to stop looking like a bunch of hate-inducing idiots of an IDIOCRACY (funny movie, btw Marsha - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiocracy).
Remember: Just Ignore the Ignorant Ignoramouses.
I think it's what Jesus would do... but I guess I'll wait for Blayze's book to find out.

29. The ex vice-president is in good company indeed. Hitler, Stalin, and Yasser were past nominees as well. This organization is nothing more than a farce, a comedy that only gives awards to the left doesnt matter who else is on the list to win, or what they may have done. Thats a matter of factual record so how can it be taken seriously when its not fair? Watch next year for the winner and you will see from where i speak.

30. Congratulations Al! Let someone else take the thankless job as President, although I would vote for you again if you ran. I like the Idea of you being the head of the EPA. Maybe the United States could start setting good examples for a change.
