This is the hardest multiple choice I have ever had to put together -- what is the most offensive thing Ann Coulter has ever said? There are so many choices, how do you boil it down to just four?
How do you compare her comments on Muslims -- America should "invade their [terrorists'] countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity" -- to her comments on Jews -- "we just want Jews to be perfected"? How do you decide which one is more heinous. I guess the comment on Jews didn't include killing their leaders and invading their countries. Does that make it any better?
Then there are the comments that are more stupid than offensive. Here is one about New Yorkers: If attacked by terrorists, "they would immediately surrender." Here's one of the problems with that statement: They were attacked -- on 9/11.
As far as I remember, New York did not immediately surrender to Al Qaeda. To top it off, Coulter also said: "Oh God, they're so stupid in New York." Right, as opposed to her brilliant analysis.
And, of course, there;s the instant classic about the 9/11 widows: "I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much." What's with her and 9/11? In some bizarre way she is doing the opposite of the Republican strategy of shrouding themselves in 9/11. She seems to be attacking anyone who suffered during 9/11. The only thing crazier than this plan is the fact that it's working.
Why? Because television producers keep putting her on-air no matter what she says and they keep helping her sell books. I hope her last statement is the straw that breaks this camel's back. But you never know.
So, let's see if we're up to the challenge of picking her worst comment of all time. You can read a list of most of them here (no list is ever complete because she keeps on talking and adding to the list on a daily basis). But here are my top four. You pick which is the most offensive.
Finally, she had this gem to say about women: "We're not that bright." If she just changed the "we" to an "I" she might have finally been on to something.

1. Yes indeed Ms. Coulter is a never ending repository of hateful, ignorant, WWE type bravado. She is well aware of what she is doing. If she were a dumb jock she would be a pro wrestler. Unfortunately for most of us she is dumb, but dumb with priviledge and a following I have yet to figure out.

2. The most offensive comment had to have been,"I love You", spoken into a mirror in a hotel room just after the escort service employee left.

3. Ann Coulter is not a sweet lady, but the lame lefty hubbub caused by her latest statement is all baseless and phoney. Christians think themselves "perfected jews" and Jews think themselves "the chosen people". Both are baloney and nothing more then points of view. The Moslems surley consider themsleves perfected Christians because their prophet is the most recent. And, then there are the Mormens who are the perfect perfected Christians since their spirital leader saw his illusion less then two centurys ago. Yet we all have to put up with this usless noise for the next couple of weeks. To hell with they all !!

4. I think it's a case of Ann giving and example and people jumping on her words and taking them out of context and then blowing up what she did not say out of proportion for their own use.

5. Interesting Coulter dismisses the "liberal" parts of New England, yet she is from New Canaan, Connecticut one of the most liberal parts of the country. She is a trust fund baby who lived off the fat money of her family. I have no idea where this woman lives, and do not care, but I would bet it is New York City, the very city she claims to loathe. Somehow I doubt she lives in Topeka, Kansas...

List of Ann Coulter's Offensive Remarks All #1
1. "We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Ann Coulter said. "That's just a joke, for you in the media."
1. Coulter argued that the national debate during the Monica Lewinsky controversy should not have focused on whether former President Bill Clinton "did it," but rather "whether to impeach or assassinate" him.
1. Coulter has also mused about potential acts of violence against people she doesn't like or disagrees with:
Commenting on radio host Melanie Morgan's assertion that if New York Times executive editor Bill Keller were convicted of treason for the Times' reporting on the Bush administration's warrantless domestic eavesdropping program, she "would have no problem with him being sent to the gas chamber," Coulter said, "I prefer a firing squad, but I'm open to a debate on the method of execution." She later suggested that Times staff members should be "executed.
Honestly, is Ann Coulter a lawyer? If so she she be disbarred. Any citizen stating these remarks would be held accountable.

7. Tough choices. I voted for her remarks regarding the "9-11 widows." Her motive? I suspect it is because those 9-11 widows are DEMANDING ANSWERS FROM THE GOVERNMENT about the events of 9-11. They must be marginalized to keep them from being taken seriously. BTW, a 2006 Zogby poll showed that 42% of respondents believe the government is involved in a coverup regarding 9-11. Polls of New Yorkers show even more skepticism.

8. "the young turks arent so bad, whoever they are" - Ann Coulter.
Now that's offensive.

9. For the person who wondered, Ann Coulter lives in West Palm Beach, FL, where she knowingly voted in the wrong precinct and then denied it. But I digress. Cenk, you're being your own worst enemy and her best friend by giving her any attention at all. She tends to time her ridiculous and offensive statements with the pending release of a new book, after which it will fly off the shelves. by even mentioning her name in any kind of public forum, you're just proving that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

11. Sure seems Annie can get some peoples panties in a twist! I have actually read her books and will continue to do so because I get her humor on the issues. If you dont get the humor dont buy her books, she will continue to be successful without you. I dont like Bill M. as many of you probably do I dont think hes funny so I just dont watch him when hes on tv nor do I read his books (if he has any). Simple, I turn him off! But we all have a right to voice our opinions, much as some would like it otherwise. Now thats scary....

12. Everything she says is the ultimate in stupidity, so glad she is a republican. She may claim to be a Christian, the same way members of the KKK do, but by her speech anyone can tell she knows nothing of Jesus. Hope I'm there for her final judgement, on the other side of the aisle, of course.
Amy at 5:04PM on Oct 12th 2007
13. Interesting that Coulter thinks Jews should become Christian because Christians are TOLERANT. What's wrong with that logic? She's pathetic on so many levels.
