2. So what?! Blacks make all sorts of reverse-racist asumptions about whites. Jews spew the most awful hateful hatred towards Christians - Catholics especially but freak out if someone explains their beleifs about Christianity in away they don't like (Jews always say they don't beleive in Christ - Chrsitians dont care!). Griffin can say she hates Jesus, Robin Williams can say he hates Catholics. BUT I guess white Christians like Gibson are always held to a hire standard and have less rights to free speech????

4. ^it does reflect on every Republican if they don't stand up and tell O'Reilly or tell Coulter or anyone else, "hey, you're wrong; you don't speak for us". But, most conservatives just go along with Bill and Ann and constantly make excuses for them. Thats the problem and it should be stopped!

5. WHY IS THIS GIBSON STILL ON THE AIR?
When the media first reported the horror story we were shown on all stations only black faces, no WHITES nor did anyone during an interview reveal this was a white male. Still, I kept wondering, white or black. Sure the first thought would be that the is an almost all Afro-American school and therefore logic suggests the gunman was in all probability black, however, since no report informed anything about race I became suspicious. Sure enough, another young white male with emotional issues was the shooter. What a nightmare and tragedy.
Gibson however is provably one of the most ignorant media people I've ever had the misfortune to hear, right up there with Imus, Rush and the like. Each make patently clear their ignorance and prejudice and should be taken down removed for all broadcast possibility. Me. a senior white male -mad as H and not going to take it anymore!

The difference between John Gipson/Bill OReilly and Rosie ODonnell/Kathy Griffin/Robin Williams is that Gipson and OReilly (and I'll add Hannity) claim to be unbiased news reporters who constantly give biased opinions and provide biased slants. Don't call yourself "fair and balanced" when you're no such thing!
Young Turks are not fair and balanced, either. The difference is when one of them goes on a rant, they know what they're talking about! You basically need a fact-checker when you see lips moving on Hannity/OReilly/Coulter/Gipson/Malkin etc. The Right is much better represented by the likes of Blakely/Buchanan/Matelin.
And, no, all liberals don't assume that idiots like John Gipson represent all conservatives, or all Republicans. (Those terms are not interchageable, by the way. That is no more true than all liberals want to raise taxes and socialize medicine and legalize heroin.)

11. I find it amazing how so many people scream racism. Those who spout out about someone being a racist, are without doubt racist themselves!!!! And when it comes to political positions-republican/democrat/ liberal/conservative-you are just voting for a stupid party-you really don't care what this country was built on and what is all about. you don't really care who's blood was spilt in founding and forming this country and on the principles on which it is based!! 13. I am sure that those young people who were dodging bullets instead of tending to their lessons don't care one way or the other what the shooters race might have been. Bullets do not discriminate, though shooters do.

As for Mr. Gibson's comment, I will use a youthful slang. Can you say STUCK ON STUPID? Admit your wrong, apologize and make a genuine effort not to "assume" the next time.

For the other posters, if Gibsons comments are not racially motivated then what would compel him to say something that ignorant. I don't much care which way he leans, but he owes his viewers an accurate reporting of events. Not his ill conceived identification of the shooters race, he is irresponsible in the extreme.

Most shootings in USA in schools is done by blacks.

15. Lets take,Philadelphia. There have been over 300 killings in this city in 2007.Over 90% are blacks killing blacks.This same situation exists in many cities across this country.
Last night in Chester Pa.a small town outside phila.
there were two killings.Three other people were wounded.
If you mention these facts does this make someone a racists?
Why any of the Presidential candidates have not even discussed this is something i do not understand.
