There are now news reports that Don Imus will be hired by WABC in New York for their morning show. His new paycheck -- over $10 million. When you compound this with the reported $20 million payout he got from CBS when he got fired, he will have made a small fortune for getting fired. If these numbers are anywhere near true, it's an enormous reward for bad behavior.
So, Imus makes offensive comments. Imus gets $30 million. That ought to show him!
As I explain in this short video, I never thought Imus should have been fired. But I also didn't expect to get him to get millions of dollars for being an ass, either.

19. Don Imus DOES deserve every penny he gets and I am looking forward to having him back. This is just the greatest news. I have felt so ill-informed since April and it will be good to hear Mr. Imus again!

20. The losers are CBS and MSNBC. They broke their contract with Imus. They are lucky he accepted the settlement he did. Had it gone to court, they would have lost big time...and they knew it. But I guess the point had to be made that Americans are now an uptight, self-righteous, hypocritical, repressed and humorless people. That's why the snake-oil salesmen in this country can now control the discourse and manipulate who and what we can see and hear...and tell us who the next President is going to be before we've even cast a vote. Wake up America and take back your country!

"But, if you don't like Imus, Limbaugh, or O'Reilly, that doesn't give you the right to deprive others the chance to listen."
Oh, Kent , you poor deluded fool ! Do you not realize that we are in a new period of enlightment? There NO more Christians, Jews, Muslims, Bhuddists, etc. we all bow down before the all knowing , all mighty power of P.C. and its self appointed priests and priestesses.
On a more serious note, just remember this quote: "I swear by life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man , nor I ask him to live for mine" J.G.

22. Question:
Was Don Imus' electronic lynching because of a racist remark or was that just the emotional issue used by the lynch mob to get the ball rolling ? Who was the "group" that started it all and then proceeded to agitate the on-line groups. "Who" really is behind that group ? Who really benefits if he is removed totally from talk radio. I think the real reason was political. Imus has not always been friendly towards certain political figures. By that I mean , he has asked hard questions and made comments that were not flattering to certain political figures. The internet is a great tool, however it is also a political weapon. Just ask yourself "Where did this storm get started? and who was the "agitator". Once you realize who the agitator was, look at who really backs that organization.
