Fox News loves Al Gore

Maybe not, actually. After all, Al Gore is a Democratic environmentalist, so no time to sing his praise in the Fox agenda. Fox did spent a lot of time trying to discredit the award; one tactic was to simply link it with terrorism. The Daily Show was on top of the absurd coverage.

This is a world of rolling TV News, you can only comment on Gore's weight so much. Lots of time to fill the air with non-news. In this segment they cherry pick ex-winners like the "the most disgraceful ex-President Jimmy Carter" and the "father of modern Terrorism" - Arafat, who won in '94 with Israeli leaders for their attempts at bringing peace to the middle east. No need to mention past winners like MLK Jr., Mother Theresa, Lester B Pearson or Nelson Mandela. Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer also said the Nobel Peace Prize is about politics and goes to people who are only "Anti-Bush and Anti-American." ...seriously wtf?

Being a news organization you can actually pick your own Nobel Prize winners and have segments arguing for it. In the TDS clip above Hannity said the American Military should receive the Nobel award...So let's award it to General Patraeus...
