George W. Bush has finally caught Richard Nixon. It's been a long, hard race but I knew little George could do it. Watch below to see how Bush has caught up to Nixon:
This is a truly pathetic president that the American people are sick and tired of. Do the people in the media have any idea how much this country can't stand George W. Bush? Stop making excuses for him. He isn't some guy who is in the history books. He is in office right now. He can do something monumentally stupid at any moment.
Every minute Bush is in office we are on the precipice of disaster. And does the media express this sense of danger? Do they reflect the American people's frustration? Do they have any sense of what's happening outside of Washington? I don't think so. They are so busy trying to pretend that everything is normal that they can't see that radicals have taken over our government. People warning you about the Bush administration aren't the extremists, as they media would have you believe, the people inside the Bush administration are the extremists.

1. you are an idiot. the bush admin. is bad, but the democratic congress is 10x worse. what do you think that pelosi is doing with the armenian thing, ruin any chance we have to win there, which is what needs to happen for our security, and to prevent genocide there. that is undermining america.

2. I'd love to know where you got your poll info from Cenk. All the major respected polls show his rating from 30%-35% for the month of October, 2007. Now, the do-nothing congress is probably at its lowest point ever with ratings from 22%-27%.
Sources:
President: http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm
Congress: http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob.htm
Please Cenk, learn to quote respected sources for information. A rating of 24% shows that the people polled were obviously more biased against Bush, and a rating of 35% shows they are more biased for Bush.

3. I agree with the writer. Yesterday, that "great American" Sean Hannity was ranting and raving about how the democrats were going to be making deals with terrorist countries and on and on with his usual anti-liberal rant.
It seems he forgot about the Arms for Hostages fiasco under his holiness Ronald Reagan. How convinent.
Its to bad congress can't seem to get the nerve to start empeachment hearings on Bush and Cheney. If they don't look out. Because if you loved Iraq you'll adore Iran.

4. Cenk Uygur stated, "Every minute Bush is in office we are on the precipice of disaster." More people need to wake up to this reality which I've been trying to inform people about since before the 2000 election. Those who don't realize this are "allowing themselves to be deluded and manipulated by the system," as the most quoted living author, Professor Noam Chomsky has said. For example, Bush's first words in response to the September 11 Attacks were, "Well there's one terrible pilot." Does anyone recall seeing that in the mainstream media? It was there, on page B-7 column 6 of The New York Times in early December of 2001. As Chomsky has said one can find the "occasional nugget," in the mainstream media if one reads from a variety of sources carefully. By the way, if anyone doesn't believe me about what Bush said, you can hear him say it for yourself in "Your Movie," posted freely at http://majormediabypass.com. Great post, Mr. Uygur. Don't take what your critics say seriously, after all, they're "deluded and manipulated," yet will one day, hopefully soon, wake up and realize whose side they're on and that they're fighting against themselves and their loved ones. As Noam Chomsky has stated, using his full quote to help people better put things into perspective: "The most important thing for me and for you is to think about the consequences of your actions. What can you affect? These are the things to keep in mind. These are not just academic exercises. We’re not analyzing the media on Mars or in the 18th century or something like that. We’re dealing with real human beings who are suffering and dying and being tortured and starving because of policies that we are involved in. We as citizens of a democratic societies are directly involved in and are responsible for and what the media are doing is ensuring that we do not act on our responsibilities and that the interests of power are served, not the needs of the suffering people and not even the needs of the American people who would be horrified if they realized the blood that’s dripping from their hands because of the way they’re allowing themselves to be deluded and manipulated by the system." - Dr. Kenneth J. Hildebrandt - http://majormediabypass.com

5. Bush deserves his poll numbers. He also deserves to be impeached, tried for treason and convicted of war crimes.
Pelosi should never have taken impeachment off the table. For that she should be removed from office.

7. From the Reuters article cited:
"There is a real question among Americans now about how relevant this government is to them," pollster John Zogby said. "They tell us they want action on health care, education, the war and immigration, but they don't believe they are going to get it."
There was another poll done recently by the Washington Post that breaks down exactly why the congressional numbers are so bad. It seems to be because they can't stop Bush. Tough for the neocons to tout those dismal congressional numbers when they really just seem to be saying that people hate Bush.
The country seems to be ripe for a third party candidate, but who would that be? How would all of that play out? Very intersting.

8. Oh and don't forget, we are now on the verge of invading Iran. Oh Bush and his cronies sao NO we are not, but I think they said the same thing about Afganistan (sp) and Iraq.

9. #6 Alan is trying to be the clever idiot. Learn to use your spell check genius. Our President graduated from Yale and also attended Harvard. He was and is our twice elected President of the most powerful, and greatest nation on the face of the earth. Did you even graduate from high school? The jealousy and hyprocicy on this blog is laughable.

10. Ahh, stank and the young tards are at it again... This time it's a (conveniently unsourced) approval poll story about, you guessed it, George Bush.
I'll go ahead and assume that this "story" was written by the same air america bimbo that still has birds flying around her head after she couldn't figure out how to walk her dog and herself without hitting the sidewalk... resulting in the usual right wing conspiracies of course.
For those that can actually use their minds, they can look at a complete polling trend on Presidential approval here: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/archive/?poll_id=19 And you won't find the elusive "24%" anywhere. While you're at it, take a look at the congressional Approval ratings trends here: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/archive/?poll_id=18 Be proud as you look at the impressive performance of your "leaders" like pelosi and reid...
Once again, air america shows why they're irrelevant to all but the facts-be-damned haters.

11. So, I guess that would make Bush twice as popular as your democrat congress?
Clue: Only idiots rely on polls to know what they believe.
Harry Truman left office with his approval rating at 22% and today is seen as one of our great presidents.
Should Afghanistan and Iraq turn into stable democracies, Bush will go down in history as a great president despite what his contemporary crtics spew today.

12. Alan is trying to be the clever idiot. Learn to use your spell check genius. Our President graduated from Yale and also attended Harvard. >>>
Bush graduated from Yale with better grades than that Lefty Einstien John Kerry.
Bush earned a Harvard MBA, while young Alvin Gore and Teddy Kennedy were both asked to leave Harvard empty handed. (I guess their daddies couldn't afford to buy them a degree.)
Alvin later dropped out of Divinity school, but he did manage to graduate from high school.

13. Its to bad congress can't seem to get the nerve to start empeachment hearings on Bush and Cheney. If they don't look out. Because if you loved Iraq you'll adore Iran.>>>
The reason democrat leadership in Congress won't impeach Bush is becuase they did all the lying and the last thing they want are impeachment hearings that prove it.
If you believe they have another reason ... you're a drone that needs better programing.

14. As Noam Chomsky >>>
Chomsky is somewhere to the left of Mao. This is the unAmerican fool that cliamed we lost thousands of troops in Afghanistan and covered it up.

15. Should Afghanistan and Iraq turn into stable democracies it will be due to the diligence of getting our dumb asses out of Bush's quagmire. I think you confuse politics with governing. He may be known as a great politician, be he will for many years, be known as a piss poor president, only there because of who he was related to.
