The Daily Show has launched an online archive of every TDS clip since April 1999. What an incredible development in the Online world. I love the fact that you can now go back and look at moments from our recent history, like the 2000 and 2004 elections or the beginning of the Iraq War. There are over 7,000 clips in this archive including those from all your favourite correspondents like Steve Carrell and of course our own Mo Rocca (174 clips worth).
Don't forget Presidential Candidate Stephen Colbert; look for bloggers (*cough*) to start sifting this website to unearth the true classics and spread them throughout the net in efforts to help his campaign. For example: this classic clip below from November 9th 2003, which features Colbert reporting on the Prince Charles gay scandal.

1. Nothing hurts sanctimonious people more than to laugh at them.
So.... I now laugh at every Republican currently in office as well as a few do nothing democrats (Reid, Pelosi, HR Clinton).
Ha ha ha.
I just hope they aren't laughing at me.

2. I don't get the obsession with "The Daily Show." It is mildly entertaining, overall I prefer much more serious commentary on politics. But as a man in his 40's, maybe I am too old for it as well.
As a younger man, I thought "Saturday Night Live" was the greatest thing to hit my generation (pre-cable). Now that show just looks like what it is - a 32 year old show that long ago ceased to be good.

4. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Directing us to this site which undoubtably will provide at the least, a Daily dose of merriment, extra specially since some of us are too pooped after our long days as elder retirees who have projects ongoing constantly. By the time the program airs this viewer would enjoy having the ability to tune in to maintain contact with current humor -or not-on all topics.
Now you've provided the opportunity for our leisure to be filled with something that momentarily relieves the malaise and or stress due to the regime which overthrew the US government and are even now plotting more in their agenda to destroy us from within.......
