Also funny how conservative used to mean sound fiscal policies but under the current administration that has been turned upside down. Stubbornly holding on to tax cuts for the wealthiest people while asking congress to print more money to support his oil war. Add to this the "dollar drain" that is the result of Americans insistence on buying foreign goods. A "Trading Partner" is someone who sells to you but also buys your products. We do not have any "trading partners"; we have countries that ship oil and their manufactured goods over here then protect their markets from what ever Americans want to sell in their markets. This situation is why other currencies are gaining and passing the dollar in strength. At one time in history the English Pound was the international measure, then the dollar took over; because of short-sighted and self-serving business policies the American Dollar as the measure will eventually be replaced by another currency.

20. The People that boo'd Ron Paul Are the cowardly pro war types that are all for war as long as it is at a safe distance from them... The love the idea of death and war that they can watch on TV they dont care how many Americans die. and they couldn't care less about others that die in the war... But if you put a rifle in their hands and sent them to Iraq they would cry and hide and be Anti War in a minute... Just a typical cowardly reaction.

23. why would anyone expect those on the "right" to get some understanding or some sense of reality about the occupation of Iraq now? They have shown their complete and total ignorance and ability to blindly follow since bush's escapade began...of course they would boo anyone who makes sense or states the obvious, thats all they have done from day one.

24. NEWS FLASH: Declaring the California fires the work of terrorists, President George W. Bush announced his plans for an immediate invasion of Alaska. When reminded that Alaska is a state, Bush replied, "The terrorists are determined to do as much damage to us as possible and so am I."

25. I think Ron Paul is the best candidate the GOP has. At least he speaks the truth and recognizes when the Constatution has been trashed by this administration.
May not agree on all he stands for, but he seems like the only honest guy they have!!
Patty at 3:27PM on Oct 23rd 2007
26. Of course the republicans in the audience booed him when he said Americans wanted the war over. The Occupation of Iraq is a Cash Cow for many many republicans. Why would they cheer the end to their bird nest on the ground. The end of the war means the end to their outrageous Business contracts and war stocks prices rising.

"Last Friday some people were thrown out of the Bill Maher show because they were spewing out right winged rheteric"
Ahhhh, Davie me bucko.
You seemed to have forgotten something. The video of the incident on the live taping of Maher's show has been shown in its un-edited form. The hecklers were in fact a buch from the "9/11 conspiracy" group.
That's what is bad about the Blogs. I person can "LIE" but seldom get caught. But in this case Davie me bucko GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA,GOTCHA, GOTCHA

28. #12 David. Just for your clairification, the people thrown off of Maher's show were 9/11 "truthers," claiming that 9/11 was "a conspiracy." Hardly "right wingers," as you say.
I accept your apology.
Most likely Paul supporters, being the whack-jobs that they are.

29. Those booers were staged. They pay them to go on the show. This is what they do for Ron Paul gets to popular. What a shameful debate set-up.
