We support her decision, even if we're not sure we'd want to be reminded of our dental surgery every time we checked the time.

I believe the only way she would have not stayed with Bill was if Daniel Patrick Moynahan had decided NOT to retire when he did. Staying with him was a political decision. Not for his benefit but as part of her overall long term plans for her self. If one wants to call this bashing then go ahead. It still does not change what has happened and the fact that her plans are right on schedule.
One does not have to use "right wing bashing", one just has to look at her through her own interviews, words , and writings. Then just analyze what you have seen, read, and heard.
