Cavuto is a smart man and realizes that "warming" means "warm" and "icy" means "cold" therefore Global Warming can't be happening. Cavuto isn't a random dude talking out of his ass - he's a news anchor on the most watched network in the most powerful country in the world. No wonder there is confusion. Here is a brief snippet from the example above and the media matters summery to boot.
So no wonder people don't believe in Global Warming. Who cares what every legitimate scientist in the world is saying - it's cold in Fresno!
Global Warming = Climate Change. I had one email from a reader telling me they were experiencing a drought and their lake levels dropped, then used this as an opportunity to dispute Gore who said oceans will rise. Same answer as above, different extremes will be felt in different regions, and until you understand this you should not be part of the Global Warming debate.

Thousands of professional climatologists are accumulating vast arrays of evidence (including glacial melting, oceanic temperature profiles, species habitat, atmospheric composition, etc., etc., etc.) The Rightnicks are unimpressed. They sweep it all aside with a sneer, ad-hominem attacks, lots of VERY BIG TYPE, piles of specious and irrelevant arguments, and so on. They embrace any half-baked speculation ("It's all becuase the sun is getting brighter"). Anything but admitting the plain, well-proven facts. Just like they do with evolution.

The "experts" you quote have an agenda. They get much of their funding if they can show there is a crisis. So they pick the coldest years the earth has ever gone through and sound the alarm that things are getting warmer. Yeah. But it's definitely not as warm as it has been during the existence of man.
Gorbal Warming alarmists need to change into dry panties and look at the facts. It's not about how you feeeeel, it's about the truth. We are not even causing 1% of the Gorbal Warming.
By the way, did you happen to notice that that awful ozone hole over the Antarctic mysteriously healed itself 30% last year and the "scientists" don't know why?

13. I don't think we're confused Hoard. I think the debate down here is that global warming is not entirely cause by man. Some extreme weather patterns are also affecting global warming and these weather patterns are cyclical. This is a more accurate belief the ""entire developed world has already recognized as a real problem"".
I know, AL Gore's Global Warming Handbook suggest's the masses of the world should start living in straw huts and ride scooters to work 3 days a week. But, hopefully, we masses won't have to regress to that.
Imagine this, walking out of your straw hut and hoping on your scooter and riding 10 miles to work during mid winter.....in Quebec, Canada.

Not that noted scientists around the world also question the possibly fabricated climate warming does not count. Facts also show what is happening with the weather is a normal progression of earth. What is a CLEAR FACT, is man has had very little to do with what is going on with the weather on earth. Scientists show that activity on the sun is the major cause of climate change on earth. Scientists have also proven, a UN study, that the gases from animals farts and body waste have a far greated affect on the climate than man made greenhouse gas, such as emited by cars.
Many Scientists also point out that earth has far greater problem, like fresh water supply that you can drink and air that is so polluted that it is killing you. We cannot clean up the water and air supply, so how can these name calling idiots ever get this climate change question answer correct. In USA the looney left say only stupid neocons question global warming, well wake up, the rest of the billions in the world are not neocons nor do they consider themselves stupid, and their noted scientists are also raising questions about climate change and its causes.

15. How can you site media matters as a source without saying what their bias is? Media Matters is an organization that was founded by Hillary Clinton. There is an obvious bias in their coverage, which is confirmed by visiting their website. Their scope is confined to the right wing. You might as well site Democrats.org as your source, Jeff. Global warming is being made more and more of a joke each day. (Just ask Harry Reid what one reason was for the wildfires in CA is) Call it whatever you want, a joke is a joke.
