For example, last winter the Southwest went through a very cold and icy winter. This was reason enough for Fox News to poke a hole in the Global Warming theory. Cavuto is a smart man and realizes that "warming" means "warm" and "icy" means "cold" therefore Global Warming can't be happening. Cavuto isn't a random dude talking out of his ass - he's a news anchor on the most watched network in the most powerful country in the world. No wonder there is confusion. Here is a brief snippet from the example above and the media matters summery to boot.
So no wonder people don't believe in Global Warming. Who cares what every legitimate scientist in the world is saying - it's cold in Fresno!
Global Warming = Climate Change. I had one email from a reader telling me they were experiencing a drought and their lake levels dropped, then used this as an opportunity to dispute Gore who said oceans will rise. Same answer as above, different extremes will be felt in different regions, and until you understand this you should not be part of the Global Warming debate.

17. No doubt Climate Change is happening. Big news! The climate is always changing, its dynamic as it always has been. The Global Warming freaks assume it is only now changing and we must be the cause. So, why are the polar ice caps on Mars melting??? Since the GW freaks are so concerned about Greenland, has anyone stopped to ask why they call Greenland, Greenland??? Who called it Greenland and why?? Well, it was the Vikings who named Greenland, Greenland and they did so because when they got there it was, Green!!! They settled there because it was a nice place to live. They left when the climate changed and it became a perpetual ice sheet. So, now it seems that trend is now reversing. After all its only been this way for the last 1,000 years!!!
People are worried that the species of the week is disappearing. Hello! Some species is always disappearing and has disappeared since God made the planet. Thank goodness the dinosaurs are gone!
Get a grip people, we live in a dynamic changing universe. Didn't any of you pay attention in science class??? By the way, without CO2, the plants would die and so would we!!! And NO, the fires in California were NOT started by Global Warming!!! They were started by men and other natural causes and YES, if not for the environmentalists they would not have been as severe as they have been. Too many trees, old growth and not letting nature have smaller fires to promote new growth have been a part of the problem. Whoever said people could not clear out the kindling near homes to "preserve nature" have proven themselves to be STUPID. Had the growth been cleared away from all those homes, they might still be standing. Instead, thousands of people now have only ashes and all because of environmental stupidity! Wake up people and start getting back to some common sense!

19. I'm watching a 'program' with Anderson Cooper that talks about GW 'creating' an island off Greenland. They show a picture of the island' encased in Ice and then a recent picture that shows the island. Thus proof of GW,and since they discovered the island they had the right to name it. They chose GW Island.
Only problem with this story ... I've seen a picture of the area taken over thirty years ago, and guess what ... it's an Island. The caption of the photo is the Greenland riveara.
If you need us to believe in your eco religion so badly ... stop lying to us. Give up on the PC science and actually prove something.
I'm sorry to have attacked the new liberal religion, but you really need to stop cliaming science proves your faith.

23. There is one problem with "Climate Change" as well. That can happen totally through non-human related things, like it is happening right now!
I mean, Venus and Mars are heating up as well, and the only logical explanation for that? The sun is putting out a little more energy than usual, and the other planets are heating up as well.

24. Let's see, last year, Chicago set the record for the earliest measurable snow, October 11th.
This year, we've had one of the warmest Octobers. I've hardly run the furnace, while the air conditioner has kept on going. In fact we had our first frost on October 27th, more than 2 weeks later than last year.
It's not climate change. It's just a climate that goes in cycles, like its done for eons.

The current American government was finally humbled by the rest of the world, to publicly accept the Science behind Climate and the urgent need to drastically begin cutting man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
The Greenhouse effect is one of the reasons why life on this planet exists...We have and continue to drastically accelerate this phenomenon and are putting it out of balance. The amount of Co2 in the atmosphere is factors greater than it ever has been in 650,000 years, this obviously straddles all the natural warming and cooling which has taken place.
We are finally receiving the consequences of our life of decadent and ignorant luxury; In the western world we live very inefficiently, and waste water, food, electricity and fuel without a care.
Our worsening environment is a result of our entire way of life, and is not just from greenhouse gas emissions; Nothing occurs on its own, everything relies on everything else: IF this was false, life would not exist.
All is not lost, because if it was...it would be. There is no advantage in living wastefully, and fighting those who have concern for a more prosperous, peaceful and Just human race. There is no nuclear arms race as it Once was....there is now a race to alter our way-of-life to something much better.
the results of goodness are sometimes too simple for some...and they regretfully choose to fight.
