Every week on our show on Thursday we do a segment called Republican Sexcapades. This is where we expose the hypocrisies of the right-wing and share the sexual misadventures of the Republican Party that week.
This week we had a Republican in Washington state who dresses like a woman, has sex with male prostitutes and then tries to cheat them out of their hard earned money. We have a serial ass-biter who is helping Rudy Giuliani's campaign. And a right-winger from Australia who says two of the pictures he took of his penis wound up on gay websites, but not the third. His classic line for denying the third picture -- "That's not my penis!"
You can watch this week's episode by clicking here.
I love it. These right-wingers give us more than enough material every single week. It has been a downpour of Republican sex scandals since we started this segment about a year ago. We must have chronicled over a hundred by now, including famous ones like Rep. Mark Foley, Sen. David Vitter and Sen. Larry Craig. But it's usually the less famous ones that have the best stories. Like the first story this week. This state legislator was probably wearing panties when he was voting against gay rights legislation. Does it really get any better than that? Probably, tune in next week.

1. Even the most staunch Republican has to be asking, "What the f**k is going on with our party?"
David S. at 5:17PM on Nov 1st 2007
2. Haha- I love when all of the holier than thou folks are caught with their pants down. It's a riot. Back when I went to church I learned that God doesn't want us to judge each other- so why do the bible thumpers judge everyone but themselves?
Stephanie at 6:36PM on Nov 1st 2007
3. @ 1
No, they're not... they are thinking, "Hey, you guys are as bad as us!!!"
pboyfloyd at 6:21PM on Nov 1st 2007
4. Where does it say that Mark Foley, Larry Craig or David Vitter were moral crusaders? Or that they were "Bible thumpers?". When Republicans engage in this type of sleazy behavior, they generally get the boot. If you're a Democrat, it's usually ignored. In fact, you usually wind up on a more prestigious Committee.
And is it not hypocritical for the Clinton's to have a ridiculously phony marriage even though Bill is supposed to be a Southern Baptist? Is it not hypocritical for all the big feminists like Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein to ignore charges of rape and harassment against Clinton, just because it's someone in their party that's being questioned? Is it not hypocritical for Ted Kennedy, a Catholic to be one of the biggest party animals of all time?
Dave at 7:27PM on Nov 1st 2007
5. Dave - do your homework. Yes, David Vitter is (was) a moral crusader. This man was one of the major Republicans to spout off about "family values" - all the while visiting brothels.
AS to the Clinton's "phoney" marriage, unless you have moved in with them, Dave, you do not know what goes on between them. Hillary Clinton is not the first woman to have a husband cheat on her and she won't be the last. She is also not first to forgive him. Just ask Wendy Vitter - David Vitter's wife who threatened to cut off his penis is he ever strayed. We are STILL waiting for that one, Wendy!
And exactly when waws Bill Clinton charged with rape? Give us the date of that criminal charge, Dave..we will be waiting.
As to Ted Kennedy's "phoney" Catholicism, please..phoney Catholics are a dime a dozen. Nobody cares anymore.

6. Well, It's always CLinton's fault. No matter what, or is there anyone out there that does not know this by now???
Did you cat get hit by a car this week? Clinton did it!! When you were at the mall and saw that last parking space and you rushed to get it, only to have a fancy care snake you out of it??? Clinton did it. Did you kid not get enough candy last night?? It's Clinton's fault you know....
California's very dry year with little to no rain.... It turns out it was Clinton's fault. Writter's strike pending??? Clinton's fault!!
Haven't you people learned by now, that there is nothing absolutely nothing that the memebers of the "GOP" do is wrong???

9. Yes. We'll just trash the whole Republican Party because a few of them turn out to be human.
I would like Cenk, or any other liberal on this board, to answer a question.
Would you enter into a financial agreement with someone who emphasizes and encourages values, or someone who doesn't?
Ed at 9:05PM on Nov 1st 2007
10. Let take a vote. How many Liberals and or Democrats are members of the ACLU? You know. The organization that is defending NAMBLA - for free - for posting how to rape a child on their website.
Ed at 9:08PM on Nov 1st 2007

12. Dave S - I stand corrected w/regard to David Vitter, but he's the exception. And let's see, what did Larry Craig do: tapped a cop's foot, we think. Did he do other things? Maybe, but not that I know of. Mark Foley sent suggestive E-mails. Not good, but certainly not the same as actually committing lewd and lascivious acts of some sort. And who knew these guys were even in Congress, especially Larry Craig?
Clinton's philandering is ongoing. You don't have to be a rocket scientist, or in the Clinton's bedroom, as you suggest, to know that. And good grief, Gerald Ford, of all people, made a point of commenting on Bill Clinton's serial skirt - chasing. He said that it was one of the most amazing things he'd ever seen and that Clinton needed help.
Juanita Broderick came forward and made the charge that Bill Clinton raped her. That is accurate and factual. No, there was never a legal case brought against him, but rape was alleged. And someone turned their life upside down and was willing to be subjected to all kinds of scrutiny to do so. And it's not exactly something a woman would normally make up.
How is Ted Kennedy any less of a hypocrite than any of those guys? His skirt-chasing trumps foot tapping or suggestive E-mails any day of the week. Any no Patty, I don't think Bill Clinton is evil or blame him for everything (like Democrats do with Bush) only things he's responsible for.
Dave at 9:38PM on Nov 1st 2007
13. Lots of zany GOP'ers ou there! YIKES!
#8, Patty @8:56 pm
Too funny, and oh so very true!
Dave( not good Dave S. )@7:27 pm and @9:38 pm
I still have not heard where and on what date President Clinton was charged with rape? Then you blame feminists for turning a blind eye. Shameful...
Good ol' ED, let's put it this way, Bush/Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld illegally wiretapped phones before the legal withdrawal oh habeus corpus, they kidnap and murder innocent people, illegally invade other countries based on lies and proceed to destroy an entire culture, want to Iraq redux in Iran, will not provide children with healthcare and so much, I can't even finish.
Now, ask me that question once again, Ed.
rhodalee at 10:10PM on Nov 1st 2007
14. Well Cenk, it's gotten to the point that whenever I walk into a public restroom, I have to ask if there are any Republicans in there, and if there are, could they please stay put until I'm done taking a leak?
It's gotten annoying, and I'm wondering if I need to carry pepper-spray to keep these family values Conservative predators away from me.
Any advice you can give would be helpful. I no longer feel safe with the GOP running around out there.
Dan at 10:16PM on Nov 1st 2007
15. 12. Dave S - I stand corrected w/regard to David Vitter, but he's the exception. And let's see, what did Larry Craig do: tapped a cop's foot, we think. Did he do other things? ####################################################
Of course Dave you are absolutetly correct. Clinton did it, he is at fault for everything!! And please to suggest that David Vitter, Foley, Craig could possibly be placed in the same cattegory as Clinton??? Well that's just nonesense. You have to know a politician exist before they can do any wrong... As you so correctely point out. "Who knew...???" "Who knoew these guys were even in Congress???" I mean other than the people that voted for them. Who would even know them. I mean other than the scandals!
It's Clinton's fault, it always has been and it always will be Dave, don't fret we understand. Just like when Newt went after Clinton and Newt was getting it on with one of his aids and while his wife was in the hospital dying of Cancer and he served her with divorce papers.... Who knew??? It was Clintons fault!!! And Tom Delay was doing the same as Newt, he was attacking Clinton, while he was having his affair. But, it was Clinton's fault because Tom Delay is a family's Value High Morals Man. And David Vitter whent after Clinton while he had to pay for his behind the close doors sex!! But, hey who the hell knew who David Vitter was. Other than the people that voted for him, that is??
Oh and let's not forget about Foley. No, he "Just sent suggestive e-mails" Of course we do not know all the things he's done, or all the things Craig is done. Speaking of Craig, another FINE UP-STANDING Member of the GOP, who also went after Clinton.
I think we should just blame Clinton for everything on earth and then we can all just go out and have a cup of coffee together and enjoy life!!!
