3. Maybe I'll go. My schedule is a bit tight at the moment, but oh boy, the chance to see Mo Rocca live? Again?
Giza and friends, come to New York with me so I won't have to sit alone. We can sing 'I Ran' by Flock of Seagulls.

4. Aw Mo,
This is a wonderful post. Great Music, Mo Rocca & making the world a better place, all in one stroke.
I would recommend that anyone who cannot attend, at least consider donating the admission price to the Joey Dipaolo Aids Foundation Inc. (Link above.)
I just did.
That said, for anyone who thinks they still can't be witty which such a serious topic, watch this:
Mo Rocca: there is a word for people like you!
It is called "Last Minute Planners!"
Why didn't we hear about this two weeks ago?
I didn't even have a chance to audition. I do a very nice rendition of Art Garfunkel's "A Heart in New York." Even though I only know five chords on my Yamaha, I probably could've "aired" it with a back-up band.
Ah, blame it on You Tube for losing your REO post. Well, as well all told Blaze, just record it again Mister.
And finally, if you see some 19 year old kid charging the stage with a video camera and a bag of Cheese Doodles, definitely grant him an interview. That would be our best adopted son Blayze.

5. Blayzie! The Flock of Seagulls idea is fantastic. You sing the tune- the rest of us commenters do this:

(Everytime I hear 'I Ran' I think of Pablo Francisco.) Imagine the standing O on this one!
Andrea- I love you! The Christmas card idea is everything that is awesome. I better receive one. I love Christmas cards :)
Where is Marsha and Finn? Did they skip town and elope without giving us a link to their bridal registry?
JG I can totally see Blayzie storming the stage with a video camera and Cheese Doodles. Kinda puts me in the mind of a crazed child running to see Santa in the mall. Blayze is lucky he's so adorable.
I wish I could make the show, but, I am in Pittsburgh, and I work the next morning :) But I will definitely make a donation, Mo, and get a contribution from work, too.
Mo, you should sing "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" from Starship, that tune that was in Mannequin. (My most FAV movie as a kid) If you would, I just might make the drive to Joe's to see it!

7. I personally LOVE "Take it on the Run." I really wish I could have seen that!
By the way, public service announcement: If you're giong to listen to the NPR podcast of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on the treadmill at the gym, be extra vigilant about NOT falling. It's way too funny. It needs to come with a warning. ;) No, I didn't fall this time, but I'm sure I will at some point!

8. I'd sing "And she was" by Talking Heads.
One of my fave 80s songs.
Too bad I'm so faaaaaaaaaaaar awaaaaaaaaaay.
Break a leg, Mo!
Spain... (you know the rest!)

9. My dearest Mo,
I'm also donating the admission price-- since I don't live anywhere NEAR New York I can't attend.
I hope someone covers Echo and the Bunnymen-I loved them.
