2. Fox News is bizarrely smutty for the right-leaning network. It's probably why their ratings are so high. Smut for the younger generation and old fashion populist-conservative values for the elder people. Odd combination, but I guess it's not the dumbest idea out there.

3. What else is new. You ever see Rupert Murdocks London newspapers? Full of naked chicks. Can't wait till their in the Wall Street Journal.

4. Is it just me, or does it seem that every third blog from you Young Turds is about Fox News and Bill O'Reilly? For people who hate the network you sure spend a hell of a lot of time writing about it.

Hey April:)
I may not always agree with the Young Turks. But, think about this someone has to keep an eye on things and report on them. Do you have the stomach to watch Fox??? And if so, don't you feel like you need a long shower when you're done???
It's like thank G*D we have people that can do certain jobs.... Doctors, Cops, Under-takers, Fox-POLICE.
All joking aside these guys (fox, O'Reilly and more like them)are dispicable and need to be called on most of the CRAP they put ou there and call it news, or of public interest.
The most dispicable thing is the citizens that watch them and actually belive they are being offered interesting stories, news worthy stories, FACTS....???

7. To be honest with you Patty, I do not watch Fox all that much. Once in a while I'll watch Fox and Friends (because I cannot stomach the Today Show anymore), and Red Eye..which is irreverent, which appeals to my sometimes twisted sense of humor. As for the news aspect..well..what can you say? They obviously sensationalize the news. That's what annoys me. They make it into a side show..particularly Greta Van whatshername, and Geraldo (has long outlived his shelf life). But, let's be honest..for all the blowhards like O'Reilly's there is always a blowhard like Keith Olbermann.
You'd be surprised that some of my more conservative friends watch CNN and other liberal leaning shows, and my more liberal friends watch Fox..so..you never know.
About this blog, though, it just seems to me that, forgetting Fox, the Turks do spend an inordinate amount of time writing about sexual themes.

8. Hey April:)
I know that I am going to anger a bunch of men with this one, but..... Men....sex....sex...men, the harder they put others down for indiscretions, the harder it is to hide their own.
So you don't like Keith Olbermann... I wont miss his show, my husband and I and most of our friends just love him. He is not shy about his feelings and opinions. However, I find him to be very respectful of his guests even when they say things that he does not agree with. One more thing about Kieth Olbermann, when he has to sock it to the Democrats... BOY does he! They do not get a free ride on his show!! In my opinion that's how it must be.
My husband is somewhat like you, he will watch Fox. He listens to Rush sometimes. Honestly I don't know how he can stomach that!! I used to watch O'Reilly sometimes, but after a while I just could not do it anymore.
I know what you mean about the Today show. There was a time when I enjoyed it. That ship sailed a few years ago.
