Well Clayton Holden, the marijuana user, appears to making the rounds and asking the same question to every candidate that will listen.
Let's see how Ron Paul responses when asked about Medical Marijuana.
Did you like than answer? More Ron Paul on Drugs. If you like Ron, you might be interested in learning that the Ron Paul campaign is looking for contributions to his campaign. Ron Paul made headlines when he raised over $4 Million on November the 5th, now his campaign looks ahead to December 16th to try and shatter the record. From this seat Ron Paul still looks like the most interesting candidate, what say you?

1. This video is not a dodge of the question. Mitt Romney stated that he is "against the use of medical marijuana". It's pretty obvious to me that he made his point and didn't want to argue with someone who was for it.
Go Mitt!

3. Mitt is a corporate slimeball. Props to Ron for not wanting to waste more taxpayer dollars on imprisoning nonviolent herbal medicine users!!! Thanks for posting and getting the word out :)

6. Although I am a democrat, I must admit that I sincerely like Ron Paul. I might not agree with him on everything, but at least he's honest unlike the rest of them.

7. This is precisely why Ron Paul is unelectable. Goes back and forth between moments of lucidity, and absurdity. I'm in the medical field, and see a lot of these retired geezer physicians who are bored with life and have a need to find some sense of self worth. It's obvious he's just in it for the thrill of the race, when he commits political suicide with crapola like medical MJ, getting rid of major gov't agencies (CIA, FBI, IRS, etc.,) not to mention his bizarre following of eccentric individuals. The dirty little secret that Paul conveniently omits; as a physician he knows that the use of med MJ is not a viable pain management drug, and while condoning MM, a physician would also have to endorse smoking in general. Also, the medical and law enforcement community already turn a "blind eye" to individuals who are terminally ill and want to use MJ, legal or otherwise. The problem is that very few wannabe users fit the definition of "terminally ill."
Maybe Paul should've shown this much concern for patient's well-being, when as a physician in private practice, he refused to accept Medicaid from destitute individuals, or Medicare from the elderly, but instead chose to put them on an "easy" payment plan charging them full price for services rather than accepting their assignments. As a medical professional for 25 years, I can tell you that there's only one reason to do this: GREED. You don't have the red tape overhead from billing Medicaid/Medicare which will give lower reimbursements than good old cash payments. What a fraud.

9. # 6,7. I'm going severly off-topic here, but when are you a$$holes that are ILLEGALLY bombarding the blogs with SPAM (all of that "Timeclock" "SuperTV,"
dating sites, "Politidose" bullsh!t..) going to get your butts fined for this? You contribute nothing to these blogs with your hit-and-run simpleton one liners. Personally, it pisses me off to the point that I'd never visit these websites. Just as annoying as pop-ups. What do you think you're accomplishing by forcing yourselves on people? Buy some "F" word advertising like LEGAL sites do. Rant over.

10. How interesting, Lizard. You just insult Ron Paul, rather than providing a real argument.
Yeah, that will impress people. Now insults are ok AS LONG AS you've got an argument with them.
You don't.

11. I personally do not like paying for people to be incarcerated who were contributing to society and were non violent.
Why should anyone care if they wish to alter their own minds.
If you are going to get crazy on this take a look at prohibition. Good People became "criminals" and a multi-billion dollar industry was created with the stroke of a pen. In the end it caused more harm than good. The War On Drugs is the same thing.
Punish the "Actions", not the state of mind. Being altered is no excuse for bad behavior.
Ron Paul is the only sane candidate.

13. Isn't the real question whether the federal government can make the decision to imprison a person for using marijuana?
Ron Paul says it is unconstitutional and I believe he is right.
What is wrong with sticking to the Constitution and using it as our gauge of whether something is o.k. or not?
If we vote someone into office and they take an oath to follow the Constitution - shouldn't we expect them to follow it over say what a poll says or what their own personal preference is on the issue?
Let's get back to basics.
