According to a news item on JustPressPlay.com, there are rumors floating around movie land that Morgan Spurlock, the director of Super Size Me, will be revealing something significant in his new documentary, Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?
The item reads: Earlier this year at the Berlin International Film Festival, Morgan Spurlock made waves because he unveiled 15 minutes of footage from his mysterious documentary about Osama Bin Laden that was only shown to about 50 potential studio buyers after they had signed confidentiality agreements.
After a bidding frenzy, the Weinsteins bought it, and since then there's been rampant speculation that Spurlock presents information about where Bin Laden is.
JustPressPlay says, "It sounds unlikely, but even if he did [find Bin Laden], I can imagine that the $25 million bounty is nothing compared to the amount he could sell this doc for (if he actually did find Osama)."
Whoa. If he actually did find Osama and killed him, yes, the movie will make a fortune and the indie filmmaker will be a national hero. But if Spurlock had actionable intelligence about the terrorist that he's withholding until the film's release? That would be something other than heroism.

1. Bill Clinton and Osama Bin Laden have been sharing a Harem Tent in the desert of Abu Dhabi. Clinton took a deal offered by Osama Bin Laden of "Money, Wine and Women" in exchange for not taking him into custody when offered to Clinton by Sudan. Everyone knows that.

2. Yeah, and this idiot should be shot for not informing the appropriate authorities. Using OBL's whereabouts for media attention and obviously financial gain says a lot about this man. I hope he is just full of blarney.

3. If Spurlock had good intelligence about Osama's whereabouts, that would be treason, as well as giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
And you know what we do with those who aid the enemy for profit? They go to prison for life. Just ask Aldrich Aimes and Robert Hansson.

4. Osama can feel lucky columnist Robert Novak isn't working on Spurlock's documentry. After all, Novak didn't have any problem outting CIA spook Valerie Plame in his column.

5. Plame was not covert. During Senate proceedings she gave false testimony and Joe Wilson provided classified information to the media. Since they are Liberal Democrat Hacks no outcry for their prosecution.

8. Paul - Where do you got your talking points?
alan at 4:18PM on Dec 5th 2007
9. Alan: No talking points pal, I deal in facts.
A recent email shows that Valerie Plame recommended her husband to go to Nigeria, under oath she claimed the opposite. Joe Wilson himself said he leaked classified documents to the media. Post #1 is pure satire:)

11. Forget about Osama. Look at the stock charts for United Airlines and American Airlines on 9/10. Always follow the money. Volume trading spikes were rampant. Then investigate our Feds...Congress!

12. Al-Queda and Ben Laden have NOT been, to date, categorically indentified as the masterminds behinad 9/11.
FBI Director Robert Mueller, in a speech at the Commonwealth Club on April 19, 2002, said: "In our investigation, we have not uncovered a single piece of paper - either here in the United States, or in the treasure trove of information that has turned up in Afghanistan and elsewhere - that mentioned any aspect of the September 11 plot."
"On September 20, 2001," according to the Guardian, "the Taliban offered to hand Osama bin Laden to a neutral Islamic country for trial if the US presented them with evidence that he was responsible for the attacks on New York and Washington. The US rejected the offer."
On September 23, 2001 the BBC reported that four of the hijack "suspects" - Waleed Al Shehri, Abdulaziz Al Omari, Saeed Alghamdi, and possibly Khalid Al Midhar - were alive, and that FBI Director Robert Mueller acknowledged "the identity of several of the suicide hijackers is in doubt."
On June 5, 2006, the Muckraker Report contacted the FBI Headquarters, (202) 324-3000, to learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11."

13. Here is a link to the United States' official wanted poster for Bin Ladin. Note that it says not a single word about 9-11.

14. It certainly would be something other than heroism. What if Spurlock knows OSL's whereabouts and innocent lives are taken in yet another authorized act of terrorism? I dread to think.
