Here is Reggie in a Ron Paul thread, here is prffsrx during my Xmas day post, here is Maurice when I posted the documentary "No End in Sight." All telling people to go learn that Evolution is false and that we all must bow to our God, it's basically a Lee Strobel fan site.
During a simpler time I would assume that this commentator is practicing the art of satire.
Perhaps, amusing us by joining the debates as a mock character, I hope this is the case, I actually think this AOLer legitimately doesn't believe in the theory of evolution. So for Maurice, Reggie or whatever you call yourself today, please watch this educational film about evolution. I am no scientist, but I think the jury is sold on this topic. Please, join us as we progress our species and move on, it'll be fun.

1. I hate to say but that both videos are a bunch of crap. Evolution and creationism are just unproven theories. predictions don't become fact, and faith doesn't either.

2. There's brian again, seeing facts pass right before his eyes and acting as if his eyes were closed.
Oh, wait, they ARE closed!

3. J. Hoard, if you haven't treated yourself, scroll through the AOL science news posting. You'll find people will argue for the great flood and noah's ark to refute anyhing pre 4000BC. And worst of all, they are not spoofing.

4. Evolution is mans quest to deny his creator.

5. Jeff, I wish you would challenge Dennis Prager. As you may know, he is a conservative radio talk show host in 870 AM in Los Angeles. He is nationally syndicated. Dennis is an extremely intelligent man when it comes to things he has actually studied. But he has no scientific background, yet he uses a superficial understanding of evloution to claim that complexity and diversity of life can only be explained by the theory of intelligent design. I am sure he would accept a challenge to debate him on air. But if you do, please study some of his past debates on evolution. He is an effective debater, using debating techniques to gloss over weaknesses in his arguments in the subject.

6. No observant. Evolution is man's attempt to explain the observations and evidence of natural phenomenon.
Here's what really burns people like you. Some one can point to genetics and to the fossil record and have real substantial evidence for how the world operates without any evidence what so ever of a divine will. Oh, you can try to whore evolution to explain some kind of 'divine creator' but the facts are that there is no fact, no real evidence, for God. All you have, have ever had, and will ever have, is faith.
But evolution is science. It is testable. It can be put to the test by any person who wants to. Some times the tests are rigged. Science is a lot harder than people suppose. But the principle is the same: create a hypothesis. Eliminate variables. Test the hypothesis. Observe the results. Alter hypothesis.
Can we test your glorious God? Why not. You get a million christians to pray to God to create a rock no geologist has ever seen before in a designated area. We'll even give God a week to create it. Just keep praying in shifts for a solid week to create a completely new rock in the area. If he created existance in six days then seven to create an entirely new rock should be child's play.
And you know what is maddening? Or maybe just mad? When God doesn't create the rock you're praying for, you'll use that as an excuse for proof about how God does exist, because he didn't do what you prayed for. Cause he has to work in mysterious ways.
He doesn't work in mysterious ways. He's not there. He never was. And the sooner you realize that, the better off you will be.

7. Evolution is just a theory. I can't believe people get bent out of shape over a theory. No one knows who the creator or creators are....at least evolutionists are searching for answers, not like the bible thumpers that never get their noses out of their fiction tale to see how the world is in constant state of change!
The creator is not Yahweh of the bible, who is a jealous god and resides on the mountain! The real creators are too busy maintaining the universe to worry about the salvation of humans.

8. God is man's desperate attempt at termination denial.
ANY god that ANYBODY or ANY BOOK claims to know ANYTHING about doesn't exist.

9. Goddess... you're falling for the age old trap.
A theory, as the clip explained... isn't a guess. It isn't even a best guess. It's a guess that has been tested over and over again, not just by those who made the initial theory in the first place but by any one else who cares to think that the theory is wrong. Scientists then take the results of those experiments and examine them and adjust the theory to be the most accurate possible.
Now let me explain to you what a "law" in science is. Once, back in the 17th century, it was believed that the totality of the knowledge in the universe was finite. That once a question was answered and answered accurately that it was unchangable. Thus, gravity was named a "law", as were the "laws" of thermodynamics, the "law" of entropy, and the "law" of electromagnetics.
However, Academia quickly began to bump into the same problems that religion had encountered. Scientists were making observations that the "laws" didn't account for. For example, one was the supposed "ether" a gassious element that was believed to be the stuff that was between planets and stars. It was supposed to be so light as to have virtually no mass, yet existed.
Scientists eventually disproved ether, an accepted law of physics, but observing there was no refraction of light as it hit the athmosphere. Light was unchanged in a vaccume, but the wavelengths changed when they passed from air to water... or water to oil or oil to kerosine. Since there was no change in the wavelengths of light, it was deduced that ether didn't exist at all.
That is why science today has theories and proofs. Theories are the most accurately expressed explainations for natural phenomenon. They are painstakingly tested and retested. Think of how famous a scientist would be if he actually proved that gravity wasn't a force at all. That gravity didn't exist and that it was some other measurable force that caused its effects. The same is true for evolution.

10. Re: the post of let's test God by requiring Him to make a rock, the author doesn't realize that he is being tested and found wanting. The best proof is faith in the God of the Bible. Atheism cannot even make sense of rationality. Instead of a rational God, irrational random chance out of nothing is the starting point of our universe, then irrationality is ultimate to reality, not rationality. Atheism undercuts its own ability to argue. Christian theism is proved to be true by being the foundation of proof itself.

11. What?!? You mean talking snakes, magic apples, women created from ribs and a wildly incestuous garden orgy aren't the truth?!?
Seriously, though, scientists (real ones, and not these "cdesign propentists") spend more time trying to disprove the theory of evolution than prove it. That's their job. They go wherever testing the empirical evidence takes them, and, currently, there is absolutely nothing pointing to a "magic man" making everything.
Then there's that whole paradox of societies existing on earth long before the earth was supposedly "created."
It would be too easy to laugh at these god-soaked retards, but they're actually trying to cram this stuff into the minds of our children in an already failing educational system. Forcing creationism down our children's throats would be the kiss of death to American progress.
Our nation is failing across the board, and these morons believe that mythology is going to save America.
That, my friends, is the very definition of delusional.

12. Somber,
Actually the concept of evoultion originated from a man who became enraged at God , for the death of his daughter.
Evolution is another form of rebellion against God.
To embrace the views of evolution takes more blind faith than christian faith.
The scientist search for evidence to confirm their theory.
In the video they used Bush as a child ,and Bush as a man to show, what they refer to as evolution at work. We call it growing old.(Ageing)
The reason the link between beast and man can not be found is because there is no link.
There is however, a common denominator between the two. Let me introduce you to him , His name is Jehovah.
You made a comment, about christians praying to God, to create a new rock, what you really want is for God to prove to you that he does exist.
The problem I have with that is he has already provided evidence ,and you still don't see it.
Wolud I be accurate to assume, that you blame God for all the tragedy in your life?
If so that would explain your darwinism rage.
Observant at 2:00PM on Dec 31st 2007
13. Creationism is the quest by some to stay stupid. Evolution is the quest to understand the diversity of life. Only someone terrified of knowledge would think that evolution is a quest to deny "man's creator", especially since those creationists deny the creator has a creator (and thus are hypocrites).

14. carlS, you do realize that presuppositionalism is just the Cartesian Perfect Being argument, which is a variant on Anselm's Ontological argument, which has been refuted to death for centuries, do you not?
Knight_of_BAAWA at 2:12PM on Dec 31st 2007
15. Actually, the concept of evolution from Darwin began before he even had a daughter! Further, he didn't "blame god", nor did he ever recant. UnObservant just lied his butt off.
You know, UnObservant, I thought bearing false witness was a SIN! SINNER! REPENT!
