Political Attack Ad Parody About Jesus Christ
We just found this video on our friend's new religion-in-pop-culture blog, God Spam. It's a parody attack ad explaining why Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Tom Tancredo might want to think twice before accepting the endorsement of Jesus, that "tax and spend messiah."

3. This is tacky and taste less...obviously the person who did this knows nothing about Jesus and His love and compassion for sinners..including myself and the person who mocks my Lord and Savior (the creator of this. Get a life before yours comes to an end and you get to face Him yourself and not my comments alone..It says in the Bible that every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord...better start practicing our lives all end sooner then we think

4. Okay, first off, let's quote some scripture. "Those who love mother, brother, sister, more than me are not worthy of me." This sounds like a real dig against the family unit. No family values espoused here.
"When was I hungry and you fed me?" This sounds like a support of the jobless immigrant.
As for war, you know veryyyy well that JC was a pacifist. That comment in the bible about bringing "not peace but a sword" was in relation to the destruction of the family unit.
I would quote more, but you right wing conservative chistians can read your own bibles, can't you? (But by your behavior so far, I would guess not.)

5. It is really sad that Americans are comfortable with mocking Jesus Christ. But He is the same God that you call on when you get in trouble and the same God that gives you breath everyday. I dont see you mocking other gods. If you did they would have you beat to death. Remember every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord....

6. # 4: People are going to believe as they wish that is the gift and posibly curse of free will.
I am a heretic. I do not believe in organized religion, I do belive in the crib notes to the Bible, the 10 Commandments they make clear cut sense. I also believe that God has a far better sense of humor than his so called Bible thumping followers, and that He is far less judgemental giving Him far more advantage to simply love His children.
I'm not a liberal but a Constitutionalist who believes if we follow both the afore mentioned documents life would be a lot less complicated.
The devil if he exists other than in the evil men do is the author of obfusication and self deception.

Blah blah blah. Please get a sense of humor.

8. Spare us all your insignificant outrage, and stop broadcasting your delusional persecution complex, Wilbur.
Jesus was nothing more than Israeli yard art.

9. " But He is the same God that you call on when you get in trouble and the same God that gives you breath everyday."
Bzzzzt. Wrong answer.
I don't call on him, and he doesn't give me breath.
THIS knee shall not bow. THIS tongue shall not confess your fairy tales.

10. Yea,Tom (#4), the thing that disturbs me most about todays Christian is that he or she wouldn't know Jesus from Adam. He had no interest in nations or families. Like the Buddha, he broke up a lot of families, but unlike the Buddha, Jesus did not restrict his followers to men as the Buddha did for quite a while. The Buddha restricted women because he knew how much he was disturbing society already. Jesus paid the 'family values' crowd no heed at all!
Buddhism has made me more of a Christian than Christianity ever did!

Confess what I do not know? How about the pagan babies, how will they confess? Waterboarding?

13. Athena - There's a saying that applies to reading the Bible: A text without a context is a pretext. That is, you can pull out an isolated passage of scripture and make it appear to say whatever you want in order to justify your preconceived ideas.
For example, Jesus says in Matthew 5:29 "If your right eye cause you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you, for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell." (NIV) Jesus is not advocating self - mutilation. What he is saying is that it's better to lose part of one's body than one's soul.
And lest anyone rush to a faulty conclusion about the meaning of the verse "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword" (Matthew 10:34), this is explained later within the same passage by Jesus when he says "He who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me" (Matthew 10:37).
He's not advocating hatred of parents or family members and he later provides for his earthly mother before his death on the cross by selecting John the apostle to care for her saying "Woman, behold your son" (Matthew 19:26). It goes on to say that "from that hour that disciple took her to his own home" (Matthew 19:27).
What Christ was saying in Matthew 10 was that love for family must not be greater than love for God. If Christ really meant to denigrate the family unit, as you have claimed, then there would be supporting verses in the scripture to back that position and there are none.

14. That was hilarious. Tax and spend Messiah?! ROFLMAO!
Of course, the humor is going to be lost on most who will post here be they saints or sinners. Please go over to one of Dinesh's blogs to start the pro-lifers vs. no-lifers flame wars. Really. Doing that here will show that you're pathetic and petty and just like to hear yourself babble.
Besides, a lot of religious-based arguing will only attract a bloated whale-shark like William Hays to this blog. He's about as funny as a crutch. No wait... crutches are funnier.

15. Yawn...more anti-Christian stuff. Notice how these people never make fun of Jews or Judaism? Now why is that? If they are really atheists/non-religious they should be unbiased right? Wrong - they know the bounds of what the media allows (Jews good / Christians bad). What robotic idiots - they just conform to what the media tells them to do (Christians bad / Jews good). Get a life.
