1. What is Blackwater and their likes doing in Iraq anyway? Most of the work being done now would have been done by the US Military. So way are civilians doing that work and not military personnel??????
Because Clinton gutted the US Military. He made the following cuts in the military during his term, as follows.
Army-18 divisions to 10
Navy-565 ship to 346 ships
Air Force-36 fighter squadrons to 20 Source DOD
These cuts gutted the military and made it necessary to higher the more costly civilian employees to do the militaries job. A civilial truck driver makes $210,000. A large per cent of the workers are no americans, thus may not be covered by any laws regarding committed crimes by them.

3. may I please say that not all black water employees are involved and alot of them lost their jobs and posessions for our country. Black Water has been involved in 2 big scandles one was very stupid but the other one was just a horrific event that a few black water employees tried to stop now they are followed by news reporters and questioned by FBI. No one understands that a few of tehse guys are just trying to be there for their country and make a little money and that is not a crime.

Of the dozen or so troops I've discussed it with, NONE are resentful of any contractors, or mentioned anyone else being so.
The controlled queer pinko "media" have been inciting the hatred of contractors from the beginning. The People aren't buying it.
This particular incident could have resulted from a simple wind change. Tear gas IS a valid option, and DOES NOT fog an area into low visibility conditions from two hand-held canisters as the Punk Jerk spinner declared.
BLACKWATER in particular, however, has a personnel problem. Their leader is veneered as an Opie Taylor All-American, like Anderson Cooper comes across. You need to be wary of extra-polite grown men who sport little boy's summertime haircuts.
BLACKWATER targets the most narcissistic of prima donnas for recruitment. If you hire elitist, supremacist, separatist narcissists, you're going to SUFFER at their hands.
BLACKWATER are who disarmed KATRINA victims from means of personal self defense by stealing their firearms. BLACKWATER did this on their OWN initiative at their own expense, they are so elitist. It was important to them to disarm Americans so that The People could not call their own shots of self-determination or defend themselves, but were forced to abide as their mere public SERVANTS dictated. (1940's Germany? Russia? Italy? Japan?)

9. It was indeed George Bush Sr. who brought about MASSIVE reductions in the military. Some of the most experienced officers were forced into retirement during the first Bush nightmare.
Even so, the second Bush nightmare has stretched our military to the breaking point.
Stretched to the breaking point while increasing the number of troops sent to Afghanistan, planning to send troops to increase military support to Pakistan ("to protect the nukes")and peeing their pants in anticipation of the invasion of Iran.

12. I don't understand why, when put in a situation of increased danger as a result of some Blackwater playtime, our soldiers just don't shoot these morons. Dumping CS gas on our soldiers does NOT, in any way imaginable, make our soldiers safer. It leaves them vulnerable.
I'm willing to turn a blind eye should our boys start picking off these poseurs. I might even cheer. I want our soldiers to be as safe as possible, and the actions of Blackwater, an American company, puts them in greater danger.
